I’ve been a loyal customer of this place for years(stuck through their rough early days after it changed hands from Dalton’s) and was happy to see them do well as other delis along Main Ave. closed their doors. Creative and well portioned and sandwiches with a great ratio of ingredients. I even had them put into our bi-weekly company lunch rotation. Guaranteed consistent business for 40+ people. Looking back, we’ve put up with some service quirks but my most recent experience has me thinking a $ 5 Footlong would be a safer bet. I’m starting to think the only reason they’re still in business is because they’re one of two delis left in the middle of load of offices. I had a gift certificate and not only was I overcharged but the guy behind the register made an error in his math and left an even smaller difference on the certificate. It was a gift certificate so I was only calling to give them a heads up and was answered with a, «I don’t have time for this, if you want your money come back in» and hung up on. A gold leafed french baguette sandwich wouldn’t make up for this kind of attitude. Yikes!

Had breakfast at the Sand Wedge recently — a very good egg sandwich and coffee. I wish the tables were cleaner — had to do some cleaning before I sat down. In addition, I was disappointed that they don’t have a recycling containers for the bottles and cans they sell.

METALSTAPLE in my food. Been here over twenty times until today’s fateful near mishap with a metal staple in my home fries. This could have been a trip in an ambulance and a potential business catastrophe. Regretful because I was becoming a faithful regular and I will even refuse free food as they could assassinate me and my friends. Is there a no stars option on reviews?

Stepped in for lunch on Friday afternoon. Place was busy, but fast. We ordered our sandwiches from the menu and it was done within 5 – 7 minutes. I ordered the honey slide on a wedge(roasted turkey, bacon, swiss, honey mustard, lettuce, tomato w/avocado). The sandwich was awesome and super tasty! Definitely recommend. Staff was super friendly and the food was great.

Food is typical good deli food. Service is awful. I called a sandwich in because I was trying to run back to the office. I got there and mentioned I called in a sandwich. The gentleman told me it would be a couple more minutes. 15 minutes passed. I watched a number of people walk in, order, and leave. I told a different man at the register I had been waiting for a sandwich I called in. He turned around grabbed a sandwich that was not what I ordered and told me they had no more wedge rolls.

This is a fantastic deli centrally located just off of Route 7. I haven’t been yet for breakfast but they have a ton of lunch options, everything from specialty sandwiches, to gourmet salads, to items off the grill, etc. I’m especially a fan of their buffalo chicken sandwich. Staff is friendly, service is quick, and the place itself is very clean and inviting.

Went here to order two sandwiches for take out. When we picked up the food it was cold, we had only ordered it about ten minutes prior. There was also no one at the desk to help me for over 5 minutes when I walked in to pick up my food. Over all I thought the sandwich I ordered which was«da-joint» was very bland.

These ppl are cray cray. Speciality sandwiches are banging Breakfast is solid as well Some inconsistency but they are far superior to other local delis, even on their«off“days

I don’t get it… The reviews are poor but, I’ve never had a bad experience here! I stop here most mornings for breakfast and grab an omelet or a sandwich. I eat the Sandwedge Salad frequently for lunch, and I had someone recently tell me it’s the best salad they’ve ever had. The Cali Chicken sandwich on a wrap is a personal favorite, too. The same guys wait on me all the time, and maybe I’m used to them… But they’re awesome! Give them a try… Just specify less sauce on your sandwiches because sometimes they do add a bit much.

I have been going to this deli on and off for the last 6 months. The service people are incompetent they can not take direction and they cook your eggs raw and when you complain they could care less. I ask for extra bacon which I will gladly pay for the add an extra strip for 1.00 I believe the feel they are doing their customer as favor by being in business. The quality of the food is below average and I don’t see this place getting any better. The other store in Ridgefield is just a worse.

My sister lives in Connecticut, so whenever I’m there we go to Sand Wedge at least once. The place was recently renovated, so it has a new, contemporary look. The menu looks handwritten on chalkboards, love it! My favorite is the Southwest on a whole wheat wrap, toasted. I also love Da Joint, the fries are INTHESANDWICH! The staff is really friendly, there’s never a problem if I add some variation or tweak to my sandwich. Definitely recommend this place.

If I could give this deli no stars I would. Why they spent all that money to remodel this place is crazy. It is going down hill fast. They over cooked my eggs and gave me burnt homefries. This was the last straw. And stop calling me Boss!

One of the most inconsistent places on Rt. 7. The sandwiches are almost always made differently with no consistency. I ordered a sandwich that usually has fresh chicken and instead got overcooked fried chicken tenders that turned my stomach last time I ordered, but was starving so ate most of it. Never going back again. One of employees mumbles so horribly I could not understand one word.

Our work used to order from here once a week. Salads are SMALL(and I love my vegetables so a big salad is the key to my heart), and the sandwiches… SOGGY and absolutely disgusting. Every order is always wrong, too. We stopped going there, thankfully!

My office ordered from here for breakfast last week and my bacon egg and cheese came with a stale roll and uncooked pieces of bacon… we blacklisted them for a week and decided to give them a second chance since they are right down the street… this time we got lunch and it may have been the most disgusting sandwich I ever ate. I ordered the«old number 7» which was supposed to have grilled chicken bacon ham and cheddar with Russian dressing(yes I was hungover)… and I got a nasty grilled chicken with the kraft style cheese that comes in the plastic wrapping(you know what I mean) and the bread was soggy from the amount of dressing they put on it. Oh, and where the hell was the ham and bacon… my coworker bit into his buffalo chicken wrap and had to spit it out because the chicken was cold and almost raw… thanks for trying out Sand Wedge, you are awful!

One bite of the buffalo chicken sandwich and right into the garbage. Yuck! Needless to say never again going to this deli.
