I order for a tostada ceviche and shrimp and I got more Tomatoes than Seafood pay $ 35 for tomato salad

Family owned restaurant with amazing food! I love that there’s a big cooler of various drinks and beer that you can just go up and grab a drink yourself.

Owner called my husband back. He redeemed himself. Very apologetic. Offered to pay for my husband to have his bike washed. My husband told him we weren’t looking for anything free. We just wanted him to be aware at how his Gardner treated my husband.

Place is nice and clean, the drinks are self serve you can help yourself to any drink you want at the fridge. Staff is very friendly as well.
As far as food, they serve you chips with two types of hot sauce the green one sucks the red one is spicy and taste good. I had 4 tacos de carne asada my cousin had a wet burrito. I cant testify to the burrito but he said it was good. As far as the tacos, Ive had better. It was something about the meat that i didnt enjoy. Had a different taste to it, ill be back again to try something else or a different meat and see if my rating changes.

Food is just ok! Service is HORRIBLE. You go in there and nobody walks to you to sit you down or you stand at the cashiers to pick up an order for like 15mins until someone walks up to help you. Will not go there ever again after experiencing this for the last 4 times I’ve been there. Lesson has been learned!

This place has the worst service even I sit down with my two year old no one helps or ask if we need anything after seeing everyone who walks in get menus and and me and my son just walk up and tell the old man Thank you for all your help you walk by me every time and don’t even help I will never be back to this shit hole of a place

The machaca and egg breakfast with hand made corn tortillas excellent along with a nice cold Budlight michalada to start your Sunday.

I’ve been here a handful of times and loved the meals I’ve eaten. I would give this place 5 stars, but we’ve had to wait at least 20 minutes before being acknowledge. The waitresses walk by like they don’t even see you. When acknowledged, it’s usually by a sweet man that’s very attentive. Food is great and prices are reasonable, but wouldn’t recommend the place due to service.

I dont know where to even began with this place. ive been here a couple of times already and the service is horrible good luck anyone welcomeing you or giveing you a table when you walk in. i toll my server if she could clean a table close to the window and she said why dont you sit over there she said while pointing to the back of the restaurant. she took my drink order and took like 15min to bring me my beer. when she took the food order it took another 20min for food to arrive not to mention that the order was incorrect… the food wasnt really that great and not worth the wait even asking for the check took 15min just to get her attention and she still didnt bring it… it got soo frustrating that i just got up to ask for the check at the cashier. she toll me the total and with a very rude attitude took the money from me… this is honestly one of the worst places ive ever eat before wouldnt recomend and i dont plan to come back any time soon… forgot to mention that the couple sitting next to me got so fed up of asking for thing over and over that they just got up and when to ask directly at the kitchen.

i come and order food to go from here all the time, is close to my job, but it has happened too many time where i order a to go order they tell me 15 min it will be ready, i arrive 20 min later and my food has not been made so i have to wait an extra 15 – 20 min, that is not all, the girls that work are very rude, why are u upset at us the customer? do not promise a time you can not keep, i dont have all day to wait for my food, and to make it worse when you ask for a manager they say the manager is out for the moment. not a good place to get food on the go

Wow… someone recommended this place as a good spot to check out. When i got back from my delicious lunch, I gave this person a big kiss and a hug.
I agree with the comments about lack of aknowledgement when you walk in. We were waiting before we figured out go ahead and grab a seat. Soon as we sat a nice man dropped off the most delicious chips and salsa I have had. THE MOST DELICIOUS!!!
What to order… hmmm. Very nice menu selection and lunch specials. We chose the wet burrito. I got the carnitas, and my co worker got carne asada. Heavenly green sauce was all over my tasty burrito.
This is a great place… jusr typing this makes me remember how delicious my lunch was. I think I will be going there for lunch tommorrow.

If you want Chile Verde either in a burrito or a plate this is the hole in the wall you were looking for. Chips and salsa are fresh.

Takes my top spot for worst Mexican restaurant ever! Service was bad, food was terrible, over all bad experience.

First off, the food was pretty decent everytime I have stopped by. However, this past time my enchiladas were a tad salty but the rice and beans were pretty good.
Now let me bring you to the reason there is ONE STAR.
The service… is ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC… (HONESTLY a joke to be honest) I came in with my family on a Sunday and it is seat yourself. Because we were a larger party we needed a few tables put together so that we could all fit. We had no problem waiting but EVERY SINGLE SERVER just walked past us as we struggled to find a solution. No help, no concern whatsoever. (They acted like we didnt exist) We ended up sitting scattered about which sucked but whatever. Noone ever made an effort to apologize. NOTHING. Even after people left they would leave the dirty plates out for well past 30 minutes… so there were flies everywhere. I wouldn’t recommend this place AT ALL after this past experience.

If your driving thru Norwalk or close by and feeling the real deal Mexican food, this will not disappoint.

The place is just OK. We had the lunch special, so we spent less than $ 8 pp. Menudo on Monday lunch special, enchiladas and carne asada burrito.
The chips and salsa were very good and the service was adequate.

Awesome lunch spot! My coworker brought me here, raving about the tortillas. She said she has never eaten here, but orders dinner to go quite often.
Upon arrival we were ignored by everybody working there. After a few minutes of awkwardly standing around, I grabbed menus and we sat down. It would be nice if they had a sign that says seat yourself, or if any of the multiple people working there had said «sit anywhere!» Immediately after seating ourselves a man brought us chips and two kinds of salsa, red and green. Both were delicious and you could tell the chips were freshly made. I could have eaten an entire basket on my own, great chips and salsa!
For lunch I ordered the $ 7.99 make your own lunch special. I went with a crispy beef taco and a chicken enchilada with green sauce. I also asked for some of their homemade flour tortillas. My coworker got a chili verde wet burrito.
The food didn’t take long to come out. The tortillas were FANTASTIC! They were very thin, had an excellent flavor, and were somewhat chewy. I wish I had ordered some to go! My lunch was good — the rice and beans weren’t anything special, the taco was good, but not amazing, although I did like the taco shell, very thin and crispy. My chicken enchilada was so good! The chicken had a great flavor and the green sauce on it was great! I had a bite of my friend’s gigantic burrito, and it was really moist and flavorful.
Lunch was less than $ 9 for very tasty, high quality food. I really want to come back here!

Menudo is served piping hot and is comforting and yummy.
The chilaquiles are really tasty especially with that green sauce. Oh yeah, excellent! Serviced with 2 fried eggs on top and beans/​rice on the side. Really nice breakfast; filling and flavorful.
Want one of the best burritos you’ll ever have? Then try the wet chile verde! I wish I had one right now just thinking about it.
I’ve never had a thing here that wasn’t super yummy! I will say that the service, however, is generally slow and sometimes not the friendliest… but their food really does make up for it (unless you’re in a hurry).
Sundays are THE best time to go… and for some reason I love it on a cold, rainy morning too. I guess it’s because it’s truly comfort food.

Food is authentic great place for Sundays try the Chile verde its great.
The service here is a lil different for example you can walk in seat your self and grab a beer out of the display fridges. There are no signs directing to this so it can be a little confusing.
