Always hits the spot! This place is great. Great sandwiches that taste fresh! Ive had the dancing avocado sandwich, the mexican, and the turkey bacon sandwich with avocados and I’ve been satisfied every time!

The Mexican. THE best sandwich I have EVER eaten… At least in SoCal. Maybe it’s because my favorite type of food is Mexican so any food with a Mexican twist… :D Comes with chunks of chicken and chunks of avocado, melted cheese, on delicious soft torta bread.
This used to be Sandwich Box but switched owners and names– but still the same sandwiches!

Big and meaty sandwiches! Worth every penny. So far, I have not been disappointed with any of the sandwiches I have tried.

It’s pretty awesome when you order a half sandwich/​soup combo that the sandwich is literally a whole sandwich and both of which are delicious!
So what was eaten… a «half» ham/​turkey/​cheese sandwich on squaw bread with all the fixins and a cup of tortilla soup with fresh avocados layered on top! The sandwich was classically good and soup was the hit especially when the fresh avocado just melts like cheese into each bite. It’s a great combo! The portion is generous and appetizing! The price point is affordable for a weekly occurrence…

As everyone else mentioned, this place has awesome sandwiches that are hearty and fresh with HUGE portions. Staff is always friendly and the café itself is clean. To avoid lines, always call in ahead of time.

This is a hidden gem. Great price, great taste and great service. Don’t go without stopping in at least once, you will not be sorry.

If u start with good ingredients, you end up with good results no matter what your making. It’s something these guys obviously know.
Secondly, you’re not gonna feel cheated here. Some places you get a bread and lettuce sandwich with a hint of meat. Here, they pile it on generously.
Third, a large is ginormous. I’m a big eater but couldn’t finish mine.
Then there’s the price. Sure it’s a little more than average but when you look at what you got for what you paid, I’d call it a fair deal.

The Mexican sandwich (Torta) is good. I love avocados and a lot of it is put into this sandwich.

Came here HANGRY after working out and this place did not disappoint. Honestly, when I’m this hungry I might be quantity over quality… boy oh boy are the portions generous.
I ordered the club of extravaganza (#25) on sourdough and my friend ordered the cashew chicken on squaw (#8). Whoever thought of adding cashews in your sandwich?!? This family owned café is sublime. Staff is so friendly here too.

This place is a gem. Huge portions for extremely competitive prices. Even the regular size sandwiches are massive. Quality service and consistently great quality. This business is family owned and operated and they take pride in their sandwiches. It really shows. The cashew chicken is really good, as well as the Mexican. A tasty, healthy option. Highly recommended. ¹⁰⁄₁₀

Love it here. I come here every time I’m nearby and on top of their great sandwiches, their customer service is what makes them get 5 stars. Always so friendly and welcoming.

This place is amazing, I love the pastrami sandwhich here and every time go there I always seem to add more condiments to their pastrami. Other sandwiches here are really good too like the #25 something extravaganza. Really great on the sandwich sizes and the service was great. One of my favorite spots to eat lunch.

The service and area of the Sandwich Café is perfect.
I saw a bunch of Unilocal reviews and decided to try the Texan but it wasn’t that great. I tried my friend Club and it was way better. The pulled pork and bbq sauce wasn’t sweet enough for me.
The service was great, the cashier was funny and the food came fast.
I’ll definitely be back here to try something else.

This place is awesome! From its chill atmosphere to it’s sweet and friendly staff. Not to mention the amazing soups and sandwhiches that they make! If your in this area and looking for a good healthy and filling lunch come on over!

That Dancing Avocado sandwich on squaw bread is really really good. It filled me up without a problem and some more. I usually don’t eat bread but broke my rule for this café and it was worth it.

You ever get a sad sandwich that is mostly bread and two slices of lame deli meat? This is definitely not this place. This is the how do I get my mouth around this gigantic pile of meat place (PHRASING). Seriously though for the money the food is ridiculously sized. You can easily split most of these sandwhiches and make it two. This makes each sandwich really only $ 4.50. Also they are lavish with their avocado which gives them a 5 star gold star from me.
The decorum is that what you would expect from a mom and pop trying to get by scenario so it is lack luster but it is a sandwich shop and I don’t judge them based on that. Most people in this area are just in and out anyways.
Help Family Businesses. Without you there will be just a bunch of McDonalds and Chipotles everywhere and that makes me sad.

Holy CHEESESTEAK! After a pretty chill morning at work, ONE of the first things that comes to a mans head is what to eat. Usually hit the basic food chains since they are nearby but decided to venture out to some new ish. Bam, thanks to Unilocal found The Sandwhich Box. Now I am not the type to order basic stuff off the menu, and dont normally expect a Philly Cheesesteak to prosper in a small spot like this, but oh ma gerrrrd this sandwhich is FUEGO my egGO! Although i usually love mushrooms on my cheesesteak and they didnt have any the sandwhich did it for me. And trust me I KNOW food!
Only drawbacks were these as follow: no restroom so make sure not to dine in and eat there spicy hot sauce. You might not not make it out how you went in. And my cheesesteak sandwhich was only ¾ full of meat which i feel might have just been a simple miscommunication between the cook and the sandwhich. Maybe he was stressed out or he was multi tasking. Oh well either way place is Bomb!

We ordered the Italian and the meatball sandwiches. They both were fresh, the deli cuts were good quality & the meatballs tasted homemade. I appreciate that you can choose between white, wheat, Sourdough, rye and squaw breads. The Mexican sandwich actually comes on a torta. They use fresh mozzarella and Parmesan cheese along with all kinds of sauces and dressings. I wish I’d tried the soup, they had 4 different flavors that day; white mushroom soup, tortilla soup, chicken & rice w avocado soup and southwestern chili. We thought that the sandwiches tasted great, the unique sandwiches like ‘the Texan’ and ‘the Mexican’ would be fun to come back & try. Also, I arrived at 12:05pm and the place was filling up quickly. The service was fast & I didn’t see anyone wait longer than 5 minutes for their food.

Korean owned and plenty of sandwiches to choose from. I got the extravaganza and let me just say that it was too large for mouth. DAMN. I couldn’t get 1 big bite in. They definitely packed in a bunch of meat in this one!
I can’t say that there was anything super special like some special sauce or something that would make me go out of my way to go back. But then again, I haven’t tried all their sandwiches.
If you are close by in the area, you gotta stop by here. If I worked close to a spot like this, it’d definitely be part of the regular weekly rotation.
