Mariscos Las Islitas

Mariscos como deben de ser, tostadas de ceviche bien servidas y el servicio de las meseras muy atentas, buen lugar para curarse la cruda o probar buena comida!

Decided to give this place a try since my wife was craving mariscos, walked in the music was super loud and i was getting some funny looks from the people im guessing worked there and were on a lunch brake. I ordered a shrimp cocktail for my wife and agua chiles for my self we took it to go since my son couldnt stand the music being so loud so we get home i open my agua chiles (shrimp cooked w/​lemon and chile) i notice the tail is still on the shrimp which didnt mind to much but i also noticed the poop vein still attached well i was a little upset and just removed the vein and took a bite and the shrimp had a very funny taste almost a bleach taste at this point i was about to go and ask for my money back but instead i just threw them away. later that night i got these really bad abdominal pain which was horrible im glad i didnt eat anymore or id probably be in the hosopital for food poisoning.
i would definitely not recommend this place.

Deliciosa Comida Mexicana y Mariscos. Una gran seleccion de exquisitos platillos … Pero yo escogi el Molcajete. WOW Riquisimo!!! Grandes porciones y muy barato la atencion es unica Las chikas muy Agradables. Prueven esta comida cuando esten en el area.
Delicious Mexican food and seafood they’ve great selection of exquisite dishes… That I choose the Molcajete… Wow. Yuummyyy… Humongous and very inexpensive… Very nice and unique attendance the girl was very nice come over if you’re in the area try this food you won’t regret it.

A friend recommended this place. The chips and salsa were really good. The Agua de piña was very delicious. I ordered a shrimp cocktail, the large one. It was huge! It was also great. I loved it. Good prices and great quality food.

Probably the worst customer service ever. Food is ok, I’ve had better. Lady at the register needs to be trained or replaced, geez! Major attitude!!! Never ever again.

One of the best Mexicsn Seafood restaurant/​hole in the wall I’ve had — highly recommend this place if in the area & you are looking for fresh seafood. They have one of the best tostada mixta & shrimp/​octopus cocktail. The portions fit the prices. Salsas are just right, spicy and tasty, and compliment the food. The waitress is friendly, polite and attentive.
* I don’t recommend the fried fish tacos.

My husband & I were the only ones there & the music on the jukebox was extremely loud. Club loud. The reason for the 3 stars is because of the taste. I ordered a shrimp cocktail & my husband ordered fish tacos. The food looked delicious. It’s just missing the flavor. I drowned my cocktail with ketchup so it can taste decent. The table chips were cold n dark, which means they’ve been sitting there for a bit n they’re dark bcuz they haven’t changed the oil or refried older chips. The salsa dip was nice n spicy though. The cashier/​server was friendly :) I will go back and give it another try.

Good food, I always use to eat there until 1 time, found a roach in my tostada… sucks because it’s the closest mariscos restaurant to my house.

Best ceviche in Los angeles. Both the shrimp and the fish were delicious. The homemade green sauce for the ceviche makes the dish. Also tried the shrimp cocktail. .amazing! Big portions and affordable prices.

Today is the second time hubby and I come with in one week. Their seafood are fresh and don’t appear to be previously frozen. The tostadas are also well portioned for the price. I went in really hungry nd ordered two and could not finish them. This is definitely one of my favorites in Norwalk. The service is great very attentive. The only reason why I give four stars is becuase it can get hot as it is a cozy place. Besides that, I’m a continuing customer.

Came here for late lunch with two kids in tow. Fast friendly service & fresh shrimp cocktail. Enjoyed catching up with telenovelas on Univision while sipping a huge michelada. Will be back for dinner sometime. Check it out.

Las Islitas has the best shrimp ceviche and green chile. The place is small and no ac but great service
