Boba Loca

I’ve been to this location many times. Probably about once every three months for the past 5 years.
I’ve never been impressed with their service. The staff, mainly an older man and female, lack a warmth that one would expect a heavily service oriented business to have.
The boba itself is drinkable. The best thing I can say is that the boba is not hard, but he quality of the drink lacks something, maybe it feels watered-​down. My wife and I order from here only whenever we have to go to the H-​Mart next door.
Yesterday, 5÷1÷2016, we had our final experience at this place where those with cold hearts fill your drinks. My almost 3 year old needed to use the restroom in a bad way on our way to H-​Mart, after H-​Mart we were going to buy boba as our usual routine.
I hurriedly dropped off my 6 month pregnant wife right in front of Boba Loca and she decided to carry out toddler. I went to park.
After parking and exiting my car, I saw my wife leaving the Boba Loca without being able to use their restroom.
Here’s what happened. The older man, refused to let my wife use the restroom unless she bought something. My wife didn’t have her wallet at the time and told the man that I was on my way. I was literally less than a minute. He refused.
Even if we weren’t going to buy anything, he should have had some compassion. I came in and tried to explain what happened after my wife had rushed to H-​Mart. The guy still had the nerve to ask me if I was going to buy something.
I’ll admit that there was something lost in (his) translation, but the sight of what was going on should have resonated with him.
Never going there again. So many other options, I would suggest you avoid this frozen place.

I’ve been here a few times before my Unilocaling days lol. I love the almond and jasmine milk teas. The décor is awesome and they have games also. They sell some snacks and pastries. They also sell sodas I believe. They’re not the best but good enough to satisfy boba cravings.

My boyfriend bought me a Thai tea slush from here. It is the worst Thai tea that I’ve ever had. The canned thai tea drinks are even better. It was a weird consistency and obvious that the man that made this drink messed up. I don’t know how they can hand someone a drink that you can visual tell is unpleasant! Also this boba loca is more expensive then the one in Artesia. Considering how much competition there is in the area they really need to either make a better product and improve their customer service skills or shut down. Please try any other boba place because this boba loca is a waste of money.

Second time coming in, no crowds (empty). drinks are okay. Customer service lacks, 2^nd time here and still no greeting just «what do want to order».

Don’t know why this place has bad reviews. Service was great. My first time here and I will be back. I got the straw-​kiwi smoothie. So sweet and cold with boba. So delicious. I paid card and anything under $ 5 they charge 50 cent to card.

Been here about 5 times, even though I live so close. The few times I have been here it is always empty. They make my drinks really quick. Only thing is that it’s a little pricey in my opinion.

Their drinks are okay for 4.75 a large Wich is like a 16 oz with boba. Their service is not good at all, went in their with my gf and she ordered a smoothie and not even 60 seconds after the order she wanted to change it for a shake and the guy said that he couldn’t do that really not even a minute into the order and the cashier started arguing with my gf. we asked for a refund for our order he missed out on a customer instead if changing the order… this isn’t a place where the customer is always right… so disappointed.

I would appreciate extra boba when I have to pay for it. Otherwise very chill atmosphere. My honeydew slush always comes out tasty.
