Five Guys Famous Burgers and Fries

Went there for the first time. Got great service that was fast and delicious! Burgers and furies where made the way they should be. The service was top notch. Well will back!

Good place for a quick burger. Love the cajun fries! I could eat those all day! Clean restaurant and good for a quick in and out meal.

The burgers are very greasy but very delicious. Was very impressed, we got a regular fry and got SO much (two of us couldn’t even eat all of them). The price is steep as others said, but I would say it’s worth it. The floors are always pretty dirty since they have peanuts you can eat (the ones you need to crack open). None of the workers clean the tables, so if you’re picky about that you should probably take your food to go.

Me and my family ate five guys in Norton shores and it was the best burger and fries as always they did a great job and the store was clean.

For burger joints this is by far my favorite and best in the area. No its not so healthy, no you dont get plates but its so juicy and fresh that you wont care. Everything is fresh and made right after you order it, right where you can watch, the staff is friendly and humorous at times. The coke machine has more flavors then you can think of and then the fries. I dont know what it is but the fries here are so good, its one of the only places i eat fries at, they even have what farm they came from. Be careful if you are allergic to peanuts, they have a huge box of them for free to snack on while you wait or just to eat with your meal.

After an 11:00 movie we were starving so Five Guys it was. We ordered the little. one patty. bacon deluxe and a med. fry. Two mins. we had our burger. OMG it was hot juicy and sooooo much flavor. You can tell the beef is fresh and has not been frozen. Was it worth two hours on the tread mill.uhhh. yaaa !!!

This is not the fastest place to eat, this is not the cheapest place to eat. It’s just a burger joint, but it easily earns five stars.
Quality ingredients and simplicity easily make up for the other shortcomings of this place to eat. I’d recommend it in a heart beat.

OK, we’ll start with atmosphere. I was in at 4PM today and was one of three customers in the restaurant. The tables were mostly dirty and it took a minute for us to find a clean seat. The floors were also dirty and I was not impressed despite the otherwise crisp new look of the restaurant.
The lady that took my order was friendly enough and the kitchen staff seemed in good spirits. The only complaint I have here is whenever a customer would enter they would yell, «one more in the door!» and I found it to take away from my dining experience as it was distracting and made it difficult to have a conversation.
The price was a little steep, which I had heard but thought that if the food was good I was willing to pay a little more. I ordered a cheeseburger and a medium order of fries and my girlfriend ordered a «little cheeseburger» and we got water with our meal for just over $ 15. I also noticed they had a grilled cheese sandwich for 3.85 I believe it was, I can’t imagine someone could make a grilled cheese sandwich worth that much but I could be wrong.
Concerning the menu, I found that while it looked simple and easy at first glance, they tried to put their own little twist and their «cheeseburger» was actually a double cheeseburger and their «little cheeseburger» was actually a regular cheeseburger. It is misleading and made me feel like I really didn’t get what I had wanted.
Down to the food. The burger I got wasn’t bad… that being said it wasn’t great either. It was cooked well but seemed to lack seasoning and was quite bland. The two pieces of cheese on my burger were both put in between my two patties of meat together. This wouldn’t be a problem except that once the cheese melted it started oozing out of my burger when I was eating it and that second piece of cheese just ended up in a puddle on my wrapper. The fries on the other hand were soft and mushy. Not much flavor there either although the portion was very large which in itself was a tragedy because it was such a waste. I had a cup and half a bag of fries but they were so tasteless and soggy that I only had a handful of them and the rest went in the trash.
So in summary, I don’t believe this is a bad place to eat but rather that there are other options that offer a better value in the area. I likely will not return for that very reason.

I LOVE the Burger. Still new so lines are crazy at times. The fries are OK. Hit or miss on them being limp or crunchy. Small space for customers to sit and enjoy the food. You are elbow to elbow with strangers lol. I will be a regular defiantly. :) the burgers are worth it.

Good burgers, a little expensive but then again not getting a cheap burger from a fast food place. Love eating peanuts while you wait.

Overall good quick service and spartan atmosphere. The big stacked bags of potatoes add a quirky twist. Average cheeseburger & good fresh cut fries. Nothing extraordinary.
