Let me just start by saying the service was very friendly, BUT poor. We came here w a groupon & were excited to check it out. The lighting was awful, the tv’s too loud, understaffed(1 person running the show) the atmosphere was cute but did feel more like I was in a coffee house(which it is both) Nice selection of beer, ordered guacamole & tortilla chips which were fine, & pita chips & spinach artichoke dip was good(but must have gotten the bottom of the bag) tried & enjoyed the Mediterranean nachos. Very fresh… Wanted to order from next door & could not get through over the phone, felt like the server could have been a little more aware of the food options that could or should have been available… Overall just ok probably will not be back…

They have an incredible selection of craft beers and a knowledgeable staff to assist you in making a selection. They also offer samples of unknowns to help you choose a selection. The staff is both friendly and courteous, plus sharing their knowledge with its patrons. If you have not yet enjoyed a pint or two from here, then you need to venture forth and try it.

We had a Groupon for a flight of beers, so we stopped by after a day at the nearby State Park(PJ Hoffmaster). At first we thought our GPS mislead us because the place looks more like a coffee house than a bar. It’s more of a european concept, with the Bar being a place for all drinks, but unlike in Europe, the coffee section and bar section are seperated-as well as being an open floor plan-if that makes any sense. The bartender, Jane, was great. She prepared our selection of Michigan beers on a cool board shaped like a michigan mitten theme. She also brought us some extra selections to try while we were sampling our beers. The Monkey Butter was amazing-its a porter that tastes of chocolate and coffee-yum. Jane made us a drink to try called the espresso shot. It consisted of 3 liquors and a shot of espresso shaken with ice and poured into a short martini glass. Fantastic! Loved the brewhouse and only wish it was located closer to home…

Great coffee and great drinks! We went in there for a quick drink and ended up staying for 2 hours listening to a one man acoustic set! It was great, people were clapping and singing along, craft beers were amazing and our bartender was hilarious! Definitely going back!

One of my favorite places in Muskegon! Very high end, always friendly staff, great coffee, good enough food, and the prices are not too high overall. I come here frequently when I’m looking to get out of the home office for a while. If you’re near Muskegon stop by, you won’t regret it!

I always have a great time at the brew house! They always have a good rotating selection of craft beers and Thursday night karaōke is a blast!

The beer selection is good and the live music on the weekends is a cool idea. The food is not high quality or anything special. The menu needs a bit of love, but the coffee is okay. The personnel have gotten friendlier over the months, which is an improvement.

Nice atmosphere. Mocha was good. Smoothie was terrible and overpriced — bland and chemical after taste. Service was way too slow but it was because a staff person had gone to make a delivery and not returned(at least not while we were there). Person working was very nice as she ran back and forth from counter to drive-thru but still, took too long.

As a previous reviewer stated, the atmosphere here is top-notch. Just enough ambient noise to keep the squirrel part of your brain occupied, without it being overwhelming. This is the best place in Muskegon for a real latte — excellent roast, pulled properly, with mile-high foam. If you like sweet stuff, the Salted Caramel is amazing. The recent savory menu additions have been great — the hummus snack packs are a perfect pick me up with a Toddy! The booths are super comfy, perfect for spreading all your stuff out when it’s not so busy — I come in fairly regularly to study when my classes are in session. Staff is friendly, too.

This place is exactly what Norton Shores needs. It has a great atmosphere with plenty of places to sit and catch up with old friends. The furniture around the fireplace makes a great place to read a book. I haven’t had the opportunity to try all their different coffee’s but the drip coffee I had was pretty good. The only negative thing I have to say is that their selection of baked goods are rather sweet. It would be nice if they had some things to munch on without so much sugar.
