Absolutely horrible customer service! Almost ruined my wedding. No remorse from the employees. Will never go back!

If you are in the area and need a place to stay this place should work for you. it is clean around lots of shopping and restaurants. the staff is competent, helpful and very friendly. if you have an issue they will do their best to help you. a baseball team was their while we were there the staff made the kids in the other rooms calm down. the price is a little high but they do offer breakfast and great cookies!

I’m surprised at the poor reviews because my family had a great one night stay at this hotel.
We arrived at 3pm to a clean room and fresh cookies. Everyone, from the concierge to the maintenance workers were extremely friendly and kind to us. We requested a baby crib which was brought to our room ASAP. The room was spacious and I enjoyed the large bathroom countertop for all my junk and the comfy chair for my mom to relax in while she visited us.
Since we brought our child to the hotel, we made use of the pool twice. Both times we were the only ones in the pool, which was nice. The water was warm but I wish the windows opened more because the chlorine smell was concentrated but you get used to it.
The continental breakfast was a nice perk, we all loved the cinnamon rolls and I enjoyed the flavored coffee creamers. For a budget hotel, this place offered more than I expected. It’s centrally located between family homes in the area. The beds could be a bit more comfortable but all in all, everything was sufficient if not outstanding. I have decided that this will be the place we stay from now on when we need a hotel in Metro Detroit.

We got 2 rooms for 2 nights at $ 75/​night.
Décor in common areas was outright cheesy in places, and cheap finishes in many others. Maintenance seems to be skimped upon, and seems to be at the level of just getting by.
Rooms were decent and clean. But not everything worked the way it should. Here are some examples of things we didnt like
— the blinds did not close all the way, and the roomn got enough light in the morning that sleeping in was not an option.
— there were dishes in the hallway not picked up for 2 days.
— none of the pop vending machines on any of the floors worked.
— we got a wake up call we never asked for.
— we asked for 2 extra blankets but got 1, asked for 4 toothbrushes got 2.

Alot of bang for the buck. Neat, clean and very friendly staff. Great location within walking distance to a variety of dining, etc.
