Charming, charming, charming. This little bistro is delightful. I felt like I was wandering straight into Italy. Even the bathroom is perfectly wonderful and authentic and charming. The service was lovely. I had a lovely salad with gorgonzola cheese crumbles some of my Dad’s salmon and the tiramisu. Everything was just scrumptious.

The food is great, but I always seem to have to wait a while for to-go orders. They say«20 minutes»…I show up in 25 – 30 minutes, and I find myself waiting for an extra 10 – 15 minutes. I also went in there for a date night. They had about 45 minutes before they closed. The guy with the beard looked up and said«you’ll have to make it quick.» The nice waitress looked like she was so embarrassed by his rude comment. She was very sweet, which is why we wound up staying. Needless to say, I felt very rushed throughout the entire meal.

So good, I was asked to bring their pizza all the way to Montauk! The pizza is great! Half our family eats sausage pizza and the other half vegan. And they make both with panache. The service(both take out and delivery) has been friendly, quick and attentive. Prices are reasonable. And, Yes, I was asked to bring their pizza 130 miles to the beaches of Montauk. It was worth it!

Went to Lilos today at lunch with my coworkers. A total of 4 people. We were greeted right when we walked in. When they offered a buffet I was expecting a table with a few differnt things. It was a pasta dish, a chicken dish and bread. So we decided to go with the menu. The service was extremely slow considering we only got two sandwiches, a personal pizza and eggplant parm entrée. It was over 20 mins to get our food at lunch with only two other people there eating(that were eating the buffet). The size of the glasses for drinks are super small, esp. since they charge for refills. The salad pizza was just bread topped with iceberg lettuce and a few other vegatables. I would think you would use some spinach or better quality lettuce and not made with tons of oil and vinger dressing. My coworker said the eggplant tasted as if it was frozen. There are plenty of other pizza places around that actually offer good sandwiches and slices for the same price.

We go every Friday. Wonderful food and great service. I love the décor — dark wood and very cozy.

I completely do not agree with nor understand the negative reviews. We went tonight for dinner for 4. The service was great — every single person we encountered was as friendly and helpful as could be. Our water glasses were never empty, they offered cheese and fresh pepper for each course, they cleared dirty dishes when appropriate. The food was outstanding. My husband and I shared a custom pizzette as an appetizer and it was amazing. Hot and fresh — perfect crust with a nice crunch — very generous on toppings and cheese. We both had seafood entrees and they were delicious. I had Calamari Fra Diavolo and asked for it extra spicy and they did not disappoint! The sauce was delicious and it was loaded with calamari. My husband had the Frutti di Mare and it was a giant bowl of pasta with a very generous portion of lots of fresh seafood. I highly recommend!

Enjoyed Lilo’s for the first time last night and it will not be the last. I had a Sicilian Sausage and Pepperoni pizza delivered as we had a taste for a thicker crust pizza. They are very generous with their toppings and the tasty slices can be described as heavy. I’m talking use a real plate heavy. Cheesy goodness sliding off the sides heavy. They will definitely be getting a call or visit from me again soon.

I stopped by Lilo’s with 2 other couples and cant say how much I love this place, great food and service. The atmosphere is beautiful and very clean which is always 2 thumbs up in the restaurant business. 1 of the owners Robert even stopped by our table to make sure everything was going well I highly recommend the homemade lemon jello and baked clams, DELICIOUS… I will only eat the baked clams from Lilo I ordered a dozen in 1 sit in. I will def be back very soon and appreciate the service me and my friends received

I ordered food to be delivered to my business for 2 of us. They showed up in a reasonable amount of time BUT… Our 2 Chicken Caesar Salads had processed chicken-type strips with fake grill marks. The man on the phone told us, You’ll love the meatballs — «My Grandmother’s Recipe». They were really bad. Dense, rubbery, cardboard in tomato sauce. If I threw one on the floor, I’m sure it would’ve bounced. 2 bad salads and 2 bad orders of meatballs was $ 38.00 I tipped the delivery woman, who was nasty, $ 6.00 That’s a total of $ 44.00 She ran out the door and I counted my change… She stole $ 13.00 from me, and I called immediately to complain. She then came back and threw the $ 13.00 on my desk and left. No apology. Nothing. Horrible !!! I will never order from there again.

The bald guy behind the register is rude. I walked in to pick up a pie the other day and he said«I’ll be with you in a minute» and then went back to messing with his cell phone. The guy that was busy making the pizza stopped what he was doing and helped me immediately, while the bald guy just kept messing with his phone. I kind of remember him having an attitude in the past which is why we don’t go there much. The pizza is good but not good enough to justify dealing with the rude guy. He has been there for a while. I hope they get rid of him so I don’t mind going there as much because it is close to my house.

I hate when people write poor reviews because the waiter was too short or they didn’t like the color if the curtains, but I have to blast this place. Last week I purchase a Groupon, planned on going to dinner on Friday and as a courtesy called Lilo to see if I needed a reservation. The guy(and it was not a kid) answered me thusly, «Just come by. I’m busy» and hung up. If people are this stupid, they don’t deserve my business — and I didn’t even have time to mention the Groupon!

Come here for pizza that tastes ONLY like garlic. I ordered a Hawaiian which was covered in garlic. When I called to let them know, I couldn’t eat it, they told me «Hawaiian doesn’t go with red sauce». Apparently loads of half cooked garlic does.

When you first walk into Lilo, expectations are low. It’s a small, nondescript place in a barren strip mall. There is a pizza parlor in front and a full service restaurant with a few tables in back. The menu is large for a place this size, with mostly standard offerings and some more creative specials. The prices are reasonable, and they offer a good lunch menu. The surprise comes when you get your food. It’s pretty good! Everything tastes fresh and nicely prepared. It is not food that will blow you away, but very solid. Better by far than most in the immediate area. Sometimes service is slow, and at times it can border on inept. But they try to make it right when that happens. All in all, a pleasant, reliable choice.

Never a bad meal, always well prepared and delicious. Comparable to much more expensive restaurants in the area. Service is also top notch.

A gem of a bistro ~ it is hard to believe this restaurant is housed in a non-descript strip mall just over the boarder from New Jersey. When you step inside, however, you’ll feel as though you are sitting in an Italian bistro somewhere in Italy. Dark woods, cozy tables and romantic décor surround you~ the environment is decorated accordingly for such a small space. Family recipes abound at LILO, including the fresh, homemade marinara sauce and the freshly baked focaccia bread which is served warm. Rosesemary scented olive oil is on the table and makes a great dipping sauce. The evening I was there I asked Chef to modify one of his Salad selections and ordered the Endive/Radicchio Salad~ and asked if he could«top it» with a piece of grilled salmon. It was mouthwatering! The service and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Needless to say, everything is cooked to order and fresh ingredients were noted. I will return to this establishment. Do not overlook this place for an informal lunch or dinner as well as a romantic dinner for two.

Food and service is right on par. Staff was very attentive and friendly and the décor inside with suprisingly very old School Italian. Don’t be fooled by the exterior. I would recommend Lilo for a nice romantic dinner as well as a nice family get together.

They should be nicer upon seeing customers. Food is subpar, not well spiced or seasoned, once again. Refills for water and soda are charged. Absurd. You say you’re a classy bistro just nickel and dime every customer. I hope they leave soon.
