Applebee’s

I actually like this place. I always get the same meal so I cannot rate the food, but honestly, for the price and for what I order, I’m pretty satisfied. The atmosphere is always clean, which I appreciate. The managers are nice and most of the staff are too. The only drawback is that there is a young crowd after 9pm. Most of these teenagers are loud and disruptive; you know, the usual punks who rome the street past a certain hour.

Worst experience with bartender frank! He was rude and unprofessional when manager came over to help he stood there and started mocking me. Manager couldn’t even get a handle on her own associate. I usually go here for lunch but after this rude disgusting bartender did this I changed it up and started going to palisades mall instead. If you have a waiter or bartender named frank make sure to RUN!!!

Does anyone really go to Applebee’s? I mean nothing is fresh, salads come in a bag, frozen meat. I am just amazed that over the years they have not evolved. Had a burger recently in Northvale. Please do not ask why, as I have no answer

Come to this Applebees often. Food and service always great. They smaller than most but it is excellent. Always enjoy sitting at the bar doing nothing. Food is great.

I came here after 10 with a group of 5 people for a fine dine. Me and my girlfriend did not order any food but still expected to receive water. After not getting it I rushed the manager over and schooled him. He got scared of me and I got my water. This is poor service and this is a unnecessary rule. Water should be free considering it’s coming from the faucet!!!

A co-​worker convinced me to go to lunch at Applebee’s and I am sad a wasted my lunch money there. It is probably one of the worst chain restaurants. The food is so bad. It is greasy and heavy. There are so many great restaurants in the area so there is no reason to waste a meal out here.

One of the cleaner Applebees we’ve been to. I’ve hated the other places I’ve went to, but as far as Applebee’s restaurants go, it’s pretty okay. We only go for half apps. It’s not worth going for anything other than that.
The half apps deal happens everyday from 10pm until close. As the name suggests, all appetizers are half the price. It’s the most heavily advertised thing about this restaurant, which is funny considering the attitude you get when you come in late. There’s a disconnect between the servers and the corporate office. My heart goes out to them, since they probably get a lot of teenagers and people who just don’t leave tips after 10. However, we are not like that. I don’t appreciate being treated as if we are. Half the servers we’ve encountered were fantastic. Half the servers acted like they’d like to do anything but be serving us.
The cheeseburger sliders are the best thing on the appetizers menu. Their milkshakes are pretty awesome too. I’m not sure, but it tastes like they’re using malted milk.
Overall, it’s a halfway decent place to go when everything else is closed. We gave it 4 stars because the price is low enough during half apps to beat fast food and it’s much tastier as well.

I’m not the type of person that usually goes to chain restaurants or Applebee’s really but I came to this location for a friends bday and had a blast. The food was obviously good fried food n ribs how can you go wrong?! But what was really great was the service. Our bartender was Pete and server was Frank. They really made the event great by making sure our drinks weren’t empty for too long and they were very attentive to our group.

I don’t usually go to Applebee’s but when I do, it’s for half price apps and it’s at the Northvale location.
If you have to choose between this location and the one in Hackensack — always choose Northvale. In my opinion, it’s the better of the two. The service and quality of the food is better here. Something that I always order no matter where I am is nachos. I’ve gotten them here and in Hackensack and the Northvale Applebee’s really delivered. They piled on all of the works and the chips were crispy, not soggy. The plate also came out looking really good – not like a random pile of toppings.
Definitely one of the better Applebee’s locations in the area.

You know what you’re getting when you come here. I love it & will keep coming back. Awesome burgers & boneless buffalo wings especially!

This Applebee’s is only worth it to go for half off appetizers. Just like all Applebee’s they have the 2 for $ 20 but there are no entrée options offered on it for vegetarians. They do have 3 different delicious choices of sangria which is great for ladies night on Wednesday. Other than that they are kind of slow and the air is either not working at all or freezing so be prepared.

Pulled up to apple bees for curbside pickup thinking I was going to have a tasty rib dinner. It took a while for someone to notice I was there but eventually they did. I was disappointed when I started to eat because the ribs were super overcooked. I wish I had gone somewhere else for dinner!

Yay! I am a fan… Love the place so much a bunch of us ladies meet here every 6 – 8 weeks. We usually order the 2 for $ 20.00 meals which comes with an appetizer, They also have a selection for the weight watchers on the menu. The drinks are outrageous, and so many to choose from. I love their sangrias especially the white peach and the kiwi melon. I can’t complain about the food or the service and I will be back!!!

Somehow every time I come here I end up disappointed. I come looking for delicious food and the end product is not. I ordered the Oriental Chicken Salad and it look good, but the dressing was disappointing. They provided me with lots of dressing but it killed the flavor. Next time switch the dressings.
