It was okay. Lomo saltado meat didn’t have that flame grilled taste, it tasted too beefy, the meat was lacking seasoning but the sauce was way too salty. The portion size was very small for the cost. This is my favorite food, so I try it every chance I get, this didn’t taste authentic.

BF and I learned of the place through a cool Über driver who’s Peruvian. This is a hidden gem in the Valley. The servers are all very kind and friendly especially Rosanna. –Fish Ceviche — to die for. It comes with a side serving of grilled crunchy maize kernels. –Lomo Salatdo De la Casa was quite flavorful and the meat was tender. –Jalea — fried fish with yams was amazing. Make sure to eat it with the hot red sauce and lime. –Plantains — sweet and savory. –Arroz con Mariscos — fried rice with seafood. I requested the chef to make it really spicy for my sake. Every dish feels like soul food cooked from the heart of Peru. It’s not a fancy restaurant but a humble place to dine for a home cooked meal. We also purchased the hot red sauce to go. It goes well with omelettes, steak, and tacos.

This place was awesome! It was authentic and everything was delicious. The service was great and the food came out quickly. For the amount of food you get and seafood, the prices are actually very good. Glad we found this place.

Spot was dope. It a little hole in the wall. Definitely Unilocal the location. Across from the bar paragon. We came on a Saturday and was not packed sat down quickly and ordered quickly. I got the Jalea. A mix of seafood topped with delicious onions. There is a large and regular. I got the large. And man it’s a lot of food Presentation was good nice big plates. Good customer service. Il be coming back and try the infamous lomo saltado.

What a horrible place. When u go at nite time to this place. Make sure you take a flashlight. Very dark in the parking lot. Second when you walk in to find entrance is in side of restaurant. Sad n no lights to see. Sad. So we still order food n we waited a long time to get our food n once we get our food lomo saltado is dry burn n fries r super hard. Very bad place n also over price. it was my first n last time 2 go to this shit hole!

Their Lomo soltado is probably the best in the valley! I’m so happy to have found this gem! If you love garlic, their garlic shrimp is to die for! I always ask for extra sauce on the side because it’s just amazing!(I might even like it better than Mario’s shhhh) Their spicy sauce is amazing, too! SUPER spicy, addicting spicy! I love it! It makes me want more the next day! There’s always friendly service and it’s never too packed when we go. The reason for the star knocked off? The prices are pretty steep. I ordered a fried rice and it was $ 12. Um . I’m Asian, I know rice isn’t that pricey… Even with the stuff in it. It was delicious though, just pricey.

Loved the chicken Loma Saltado. The service was friendly. I got an order to go for the family tonight after I ate. Definitely delicious. The TV was not on, which made it sorta nice too.

I don’t give too many five star ratings, but Peru’s Taste was excellent. If you are in the mood for some Peruvian food, or have never tried Peruvian food before, try this place out! I ordered the beef Tallarin Saltado and was greatly impressed. The sauce it was made it was excellent and the veggie to noodle/beef ratio was good. The noodles were perfectly cooked as well. The chicha juice was really good. Try it! The service here was also excellent. The workers were very attentive. The prices were normal for Peruvian food. For a good plate of food(and the portions are big) you’ll pay around $ 13-$ 14. Not bad at all. Try this place out if you are in the area. It’s a must.

Too bad i can only go for 5 stars for this. Let’s be honest, it’s tough to find the most authentic peruvian food in the valley. When me and my bf got there, we thought the service would suck because of the big group seated before us. Instead, the waiter warned us to order before them so we can get our food right away. It was nice of her. but definitely will go back. :-) But I just have to say how fast and lovely their service!!! We didn’t know what to order for our drinks so the waitress made us try some samples of their peruvian drinks Chicha Morada(cinnamon tinged purple corn drink) and Maracuya(sweeter yellow passion fruit drink) I love the Maracuya better than the chicha morada, just personal prerefence Love their foods and will definitely come back and try the rest in the menu. :-)

1st time here, and it was muy bueno! Tried lomo saltado and yummy, platano is a must try. They also have some pink sauce that at first is not hot but kicks you in the end. The maracuya juice was great also. Service was decent. Not enough people to help all the customers. But very friendly workers

I came here over a year ago with my sister, and introduced my boyfriend to this place not too long ago. Food is still as good as ever! We ordered the passion fruit drinks which are amazing, just the right amount of sweet and refreshing, We were mad at ourselves for not ordering a pitcher of it. Papas a la Huancaina were of course a must. Sauce was on point, potatoes were delicious. yum! We shared a pollo saltado and arroz chaufa. OMG! So good. Chicken and potatoes were cooked perfectly and the sauce was just all kinds of tasty. I was introduced to arroz chaufa in college because my roommate’s boyfriend was Peruvian and he used to make it all the time. This rice dish is probably my favorite because it reminds me of my favorite cusine which is any Asian food… but I digress. The point is this place does their arroz chaufa right! I thought the portion was huge when I first ordered it, but I think they give you that much cause you won’t be able to stop eating it lol And if it couldn’t get any better… the staff is super kind, quick and friendly. Besides getting your Peruvian food from your Peruvian friend’s grandmother, I don’t see how much better you can do than Peru’s Taste. I’ve tried a few other places in different parts of L.A. and nothing beats this place. I’m getting hungry now…

I’m so glad I live down the street from this place. I always call for pick-up(because I like to bum it and be lazy at home) and the waitress who always helps me basically knows my voice very well! I LOVELOVELOVE their spicy sauce. I used to ask for extra sauce indirectly and this waitress always got it! I WISH I KNEWHERNAME!!! I would see a small styrofoam cup(sauce cup) in my bag instead of the small/tiny plastic sauce it normally comes with. Man, I’m salivating just thinking about it. I always put in the same order. «2 Lomo Saltados with the yummy sauce…» Takes about 15 – 20 minutes for them to have it ready. I get there a little earlier and sometimes they have it ready and sometimes they don’t. If I have to wait, I would have a short, breif, and pleasant conversation with the waitress while she packs up my food. Our convo always ends with her saying, «See you next time!». Yea, she’s nice. I definitely recommend this place to people who like Peruvian food and great service. Can you tell I really like this place?

If your looking to explore out of your circle Peru’s Taste is the place to start. First time here and I will be coming back. Had a great experience food was served prompt and fresh. Coffee was definitely a great change in blends as well. The small strip mall doesn’t due this place justice but you will not be disappointed.-

This is by far the best Peruvian I have come across so far in California. The Anticuchos are fantastic!!! Lomo Saltado is juicy with very tender meat… with the option to upgrade to Filet mignon, but saw no reason to! You must order Leche De Tigre if you come here, mouth watering!!! The staff is friendly, and service is quite fast! 1 star lost though due to the condition of the rest rooms!

Very tasty food. It has a feel of homemade food. Meat is very tender and it’s amazing. Service is rather slow but if you have some time the wait it’s worth it.
