Best Thai food I’ve had in the valley! Hot tip: sit in the back of the restaurant along the kitchen windows. Very cool to watch the cooks work the pok pok. We ordered too many dishes to recall by memory, but standouts were the green papaya salad, honey braised spare ribs, khao soi, and crab fried rice with omelet on top. Definitely go to the back of the menu and order as many things as you can off the Northern specialities list. You won’t be sorry!

Taste: 3 Creativity/Authenticity: 3 Atmosphere: 3.5 Service: 4 Bang for your buck: 3.5 I really don’t know what it is about this place but I’ve has way better Thai food from panda express… get it means the food was bad, probably because i ordered from the lunch menu but for never eating here you gotta go with the basics, tiger cry, satay and pad Thai and well they failed! Now im sure the lunch menu items are pre made sitting in the back and the scoop and serve you your food and so it could explain the lack of taste in the food. However i wont kick in this easily i will give a place 2 tries before i call it and never come back so hopefully i come back and get some better prepared food maybe dinner this time, get ready Lum Ka Naad

HANGMEAN I.V. POLE and just drip the yellow curry sauce into my veins because it is just the best Thai curry I have ever tasted. And FORTHOSEGLUTEN or GRAIN intolerant!!! Just found out they never had wild rice, it’s always been a kind of brown rice… Wild rice is a seed and it makes a difference from grains like brown rice or any kind of rice. Other dishes just doesn’t do it for me as the yellow curry, I tried… but it is subpar to the YELLOWCURRY.

I had a couple positive experiences here, which is why I decided to return, but I was sorely disappointed with my most recent experience here. The service we received was unacceptable. We decided to order Rad Na and Tom Yum Soup this time around. The Tom Yum Soup came out first. Wait I didn’t know Tom Yum soup was white and creamy… I flagged down the server and they were like that’s some coconut soup. I informed them that we didn’t order that and they looked at us as if we’re wrong. When the correct soup was delivered, it ended up being the most sour Tom Yum Soup with the driest chicken I’ve ever experienced. When our Rad Na arrived, it came in a large bowl looking like a thick soup, when it’s not supposed to be. We expected it to come in a plate with some the gravy sauce on top. Because it was drenched in sauce, we found it to be overwhelming and unedible. When we asked if we could change our order, the female server with the short hair said we would have to pay for a different dish because she didn’t want to pay for it herself with that attitude. RUDE. She came back later and offered us Beef Pad See Ew free of charge. I was very grateful and thought they were apologizing for being rude earlier. My girlfriend who was facing the kitchen, saw them pull the pad see ew out of a to-go box that’s been sitting around and plopped it on the dish. She then proceeded to our table and dropped it off. On the bright side, we got several offers from the staff for water re-fills and didn’t have to pay for the Pad-See-Ew I can say that the older lady with the short hair single-handedly killed my desire to return here. There are so many other Thai restaurants that offer better food and service.

This place is a must if you love Thai! I lived in Porter Ranch for most of my life and always heard about this place. People would give me crazy looks when I said that I have never tried this place. I’ve had Thai food at many different whole in the wall places and finally stuck to one. So I never really ventured out for Thai food. My best friends friend invited us here and said that the pad see ew was the best he’s had. I sincerely doubted, so you know I had to try it. Well, he was right! The portions are right and the prices are all under $ 10 for lunch specials. Now I can’t wait to go back and try the pad Thai, since that is my favorite Thai dish.

A restaurant with a 4-star rating and 753 reviews, they must doing something right. We wanted to see for ourselves. We stopped here for lunch to check out the restaurant. As we walked in, we were immediately greeted by their servers and seated. We decided to order their lunch specials which they had for $ 8.45. They had about 20 different items to choose from their lunch specials. Each lunch special comes either with soup or salad. We decided to order the Chicken Satay and Pad See Ew. Their Pad See Ew was delicious. I like my Pad See Ew with a certain texture and taste and they were made to perfection. I have tried Pad See Ew from different Thai restaurants and it doesnt even come close. The Chicken Satay was good but the peanut butter sauce was too bland. Overall, the food was good and I would definitely come back again.

This Thai food is the bomb! Outrageously delicious and packed with flavor from beginning to end. The dishes I had included the following: Tom Yum Soup — I always order this soup any time I have Thai food and this one takes the cake. It has a lemon flavor with basil leaves that complement the expected sourness of the soup perfectly. I would come here just to order this soup. Drunken Noodle — Best thing on the menu, you have to order this! The flat noodles are soft and the flavor is delicious. It comes with a lot of vegetables and is a hearty meal. I unfortunately had to share this dish with everyone at the table and everyone kept trying to go back for seconds. I am definitely going to order a plate all to myself next time. Yellow Curry — I was impressed with this curry. I could tell the ingredients are fresh and it’s not too spicy. Crab Fried Rice — I would pass on this next time. It didn’t really have any flavor and the rice was a lot crunchier than I would like it to be. Overall, this place is AMAZING! The food is so delicious and it’s one of the BEST Thai places in the valley! The inside is super clean and cute too. If you love Thai food, this is going to become your new favorite spot.

My family and I came here for my little brother’s birthday. Every table was taken when we arrived, so we had to wait a few minutes to be seated, but that is usually the sign of a good restaurant. We ordered the pad thai, pad see ew, hawaiian fried rice, and the larb. Now I consider myself a pad thai snob, so I’m not easily impressed, but theirr pad thai was impressive. It was by far the best pad thai that I’ve had in the valley. Their pad see ew and hawaiian fried rice was on point as well. The larb was ok, but I’m not a big fan of dill, so that was off-putting for me. The waitress brought us a complementary ice cream for my brother’s birthday. I believe it was pineapple ice cream with coconut and whipped cream. It was the perfect way to end an amazing meal. The portions here are huge and when we were all finished eating, there was still a decent amount of food left to take home. The bill came out to like $ 45(including tax and tip) for the 4 of us. In my opinion, this is the best thai restaurant in the valley because it is cheap, delicious, and filling. I highly recommend it.

I love this place! I’ve introduced several friends to the Lum Ka Naad phenomenon. My favorites are the Drunken Noodles and the #127– spicy pork riblets in a sauce that’ll make you cry for mercy– in a good way! They have a HUGE menus that includes Northern Thai specialities. Pretty décor– dark reds, black & gold with dark, cherry-stained wood tables & chairs. For a treat– sit at the tables next to the kitchen to watch them in action– totally unique for a Thai place. Service is super quick and always very friendly. I enjoy the bar(also a bit unusual for a Thai place) and one can eat there too. They can get crowded at lunchtime and some weeknight a for dinner– but they do their very best to accommodate you as quickly as possible. Street parking and also a small lot in the back.
