It was good. But I came from vacation and they were CLOSED. I was very disappointed but, when they were open we enjoyed it.

Went there last weekend on Sunday and I would not recommend this place to anyone. The food was not good, it just tasted off. The sushi was not fresh, the crab legs were tiny and even the soft serve ice cream tasted like it had been diluted. Try another buffet, any other buffet.

I have been coming here for year. Literally. A few days ago I went and had dinners there and got extremely sick. It was due to the sushi. Food poisoning. Left me bed ridden for two days. It’s a shame because I loved this place. Now I can’t risk coming here again.

Definitely better than the average Asian buffet. Not as good as Hokkaido Buffet in Encino, in terms of selection, but I’d definitely come back here again. $ 8.99 for lunch on a weekday is my kinda pricetag.

Last time I ate here was about 5 years ago. The food was mediocre. Just took the Mother in Law out for pre-mothers day dinner. Her idea to go. For the price I guess it was a wash. If you a hungry then for the price you will get filled up, but if you have a pallette for food then you will not be satisfied. Most of the food is pretty much generic tasting and nothing really pops out at you as far as «I have to get more of that». The Mongolian bbq is probably the best piece there. You can mix and match what you want in it and they a a nice choice of sauces for it. Personally I would prefer to spend a few bucks more to get my pallette satisfied.

First time here. Great food selection. They have Mongolian bbq which is cool. Awesome crab Rangoon and egg rolls. The venue is nice but their bathrooms need an update tho. Atmosphere is great! Suggestions: please get croutons for salads and more veggie plates. Smile more servers!

It used to be a good buffet 5 years ago, but the quality went down. Maybe because prices went down too. Still decent food but only to fill your pig out craving, other than that I would rather go somewhere more of remembering the taste of the food you eat after eating and not only feel bloated with much food. It needs more variety. Mongolian is a plus for them. Still recommended if you are near the neighborhood or in a budget.

Attended my nieces birthday dinner here last night and it wasn’t a bad experience in my opinion. We had a group of about 35 people with children and the staff was attentive from the start. They gave us a small sticker upon entering, no stars but a smile, felt I was back in kindergarten and I was a good boy heading home but instead I was heading to get my belly full. For the price which seem decent but again my brother and sister in law covered the tab, I would return. While driving home with my father he mentioned this was his third time here. My first, need to attend more family functions… So I started with a few items on my plate, baked mussels, orange chicken, pepper chicken, baked salmon and green beans. It all tasted fine. My second plate was crispy shrimp, chicken wings and a assortment of sashimi, sushi and rolls. Sashimi was tiny but good. Sushi was Tuna and Salmon and they cut their pieces big to the small amount of rice you get. Rolls well they are cold and seem like what you might get at Fresh N Easy. Their prime rib didn’t look good at all. You carve it yourself and it isn’t easy to do so, my brother needed both hands to cut himself a piece, I asked him how it was later and he just didn’t know what to say. Try it out, its really a value for what they offer.

I’ve been going here for years. It’s a quick way to get cheap okay food with so so staff. I do love the fact there is mongolian grill and the price for lunch is really cheap. It was $ 8.99 per person for all you can eat. But you serve yourself and the staff will provide with fountain drinks as needed . * the staff almost always greets me coming in and going out(:

This place has horrible customer service!!! The food was OK but I would never recomend it. They close at 9:30 but had all food picked up by 9:00 and when I complained about it they told me to look at the clock. Then i paid and they refused to give me a receipt, after which we got in an argument when she suggested my family and I eat too much and should have been done earlier. LA buffet? More like LA-ME buffet.

I’ve been here twice, and I love this place. There’s an Asian buffet near my house, and this one tops it by a long shot. The Mongolian BBQ is great(someone complained it was too salty? LOL then don’t put as much sauce on it, dumbass!). You know it’s fresh and you can make it just how you want it. The sushi bar is really legit. They had a nice selection of rolls for lunch, including tuna rolls, and for dinner they put out tuna and salmon sashimi(and one other that I couldn’t identify). Some of the regular dishes are also good treats, like the chicken wings, honey chicken, hot and sour soup, mussels, and some of the seafood medley type dishes. Great prices, especially with the coupons on their website. If you care deeply about going to a crystal clean restaurant with pristine restrooms, don’t go here. If you care deeply about stuffing your face with tons of good Asian food, this is the place for you.

I don’t get why some people keep ragging on Chinese buffet food. When you go to a buffet, you go to get more food for your dollar. The establishment itself has to make a profit on top of how much you eat, overhead, and wasted food. The quality is something you are sacrificing for price. I guarantee you they have massive freezer space and not a whole lot of fresh food. If you want the best food you can get, don’t be a cheap ass and go to a 5 star restaurant with $ 20 entrees. The food here is allot like sex, its good when its good and even when its not good, its still kinda good.

I had been coming here for a few months, every Thursday or Friday. It was great at first, I loved the food, typical Asian restaurant where it almost seems the servers don’t speak English. Then I stated to get annoyed with them, my drink not being filled until I ask, having to ask for napkins, after an hour I feel rushed because they bring the check. Well 2 wks ago a server asked us for a refill, here I am thinking cool! They’re on top of it tonight. She brings the water to the table next to us. …weird… she comes back 10min later and asks if we want a refill. yes please. …brings it to the table behind us again. Guess what, it happened a 3rd time!!! when she came by the 4th time, I told her she had asked us several times and that we would like a refill. She picked up our glass without saying anything and brought it back. Tonight I went there on a Thursday, they don’t have seafood — crab legs(My fav) on Thursdays. Well at one point the waiter asked the table behind me, next to me and in front of me if they wanted crab legs but didn’t ask me. I felt mistreated! I was never a bad tipper or was never rude. I wont be going to this restaurant again. There are two main servers Tony and the other lady that’s there often, I do not want to deal with either ever again.

There is a fly in my glass. I can not believe I just ate here. I feel like I am going to vomit. I saw flys surrounding the salad bar and tried to disregard the issue. I am truly disgusted.

Defenetely the worse of all the buffetts I’ve ever been too! There’s just no taste in any of the food feels like you’re eating cafeteria food.(Brings back high school memories). It was all tasteless, everything I ate was eaten only after soaking it in siracha sauce. The Mongolian food was the worse, it was really bland and salty. I can’t wait even individualise anything I ate beacuse it all tasted the same!!! Is all bad. Service was alright, better than china olive. But not enough to have me return sorry.

Buffet choices were VERY limited. PLATESWEREDIRTY!!!(still had some food in them). Horrible selection on food and the quality was lacking. I’ve been to a lot of buffets and this was the worst I’ve ever been to. Sushi bar was so small and there was only like 2 food bars and a fruit bar and a Mongolian bar. Food was mostly chinese food. Service was okay. Our server was nice and somewhat attentive. The only thing I likes was that they had a Mongolian grill(which I didn’t even eat, but I was pleased to. see they have it) and their fruit bar and ice cream machine. Place was not clean. Restroom was dirty. I just can’t believe that the plates were not clean, so that really turned me off. Why would they put those plates without cleaning them thoroughly? Not happy.

We came here for lunch. Had our weekly Management meeting here. Buffet Meh I’ve have had better. The only thing I would recommend is the Mongolian BBQ. All your dishes are made to order and cooked at the right temperature. You put all your ingredient’s that you want. Some of the deserts also where good. Don’t put new product with the old product. Not Good. You should also check your Restrooms. Kept them clean. You also can use some cleaning throughout your interior.

I have eaten here a number of times with my family and usually bring visitors here, but this review is based solely on the AWFULANDUNSCRUPULOUSEXPERIENCE I had booking a large party for a reception celebrating my daughter’s baptism. In sum, L.A. Buffet refused to honor our agreement and tried to squeeze us for every last dollar. PRE-PARTYNEGOTIATION I dealt largely with Angela over the phone. She is apparently the person in charge of large parties. When I first spoke with Angela, I explained that I was estimating a party of 60 people total(adults and kids) on a Sunday afternoon during off-peak hours. I said it was just an estimate and that I would have a better idea how many people we were expecting the week before the event. Angela said that was no problem and that we would pay based on the number of people who actually attend. I also asked what kind of discount she could offer me. Angela said that for parties larger than 30 people, we could either get 10% off our bill or free drinks. She also said we could decide on the day of our event which of these two discounts would be better for us and chose that. Angela also informed me that the restaurant would charge us a 15% gratuity, which was standard for a large party. This was no problem for me. About a week later I came in to pay a $ 200 deposit. This time I dealt with a man who said his name was Golden. He reiterated the discount offer that Angela explained over the phone. He wrote out the terms of our agreement on a reservation slip, of which I received a copy. UPDATEDHEADCOUNT Five days before my event, I called Angela to update my headcount. I said I was now expecting 50 people. I specifically asked if the change in number was a problem. She said that was okay and again said we would pay based on the number of people attending. At this time, she said nothing about my no longer qualifying for a discount(I.e., the 10% off the total bill or free drinks). RESTAURANTRENEGEDONDISCOUNTWEEXPLICITLYAGREEDTO On the day of my event, I had a party of 52 adults and 2 children. When they brought us our bill there were SEVERALPROBLEMS:(1) the bill did not reflect the $ 200 deposit I had already paid,(2) the bill was for full price and failed to reflect either of the discounts we agreed to, I.e., 10% off the total bill or free drinks, whichever was more, and(3) neither our server nor the person apparently in charge discussed with us why they believed we no longer qualified for the discount. The man(the manager?) my husband and I spoke with said we could not get a discount because we did not have the 60 people we originally estimated we were expecting, EVENTHOUGH I WASORIGINALLYTOLDTHEDISCOUNTSAPPLYTOPARTIESOF30ORMOREANDEVENTHOUGHANGELASAIDMYUPDATEDHEADCOUNTOF50WASFINEANDSAIDNOTHINGABOUTNOLONGERQUALIFYINGFORTHEDISCOUNTS. When I told the manager that I spoke with Angela just a few days before and she said my updated headcount was okay, the man and another woman working at the restaurant(the hostess?) said Angela was out sick. Then they said they would have to call her because, «It depends» and something to the effect that every party or deal is different. The hostess, who had been very friendly up to this point, was now very curt with us. With my husband and me standing there, the manager called I don’t know whom and said I don’t know what because he was speaking in Chinese.(I understand this is his native language, but I believe this is very rude in this situation because I am trying to resolve a problem and I am spending close to $ 1,000 at this place!) When he hangs up, the manager said that he could only offer the 10% off, not the free drinks which cost $ 2.19 a pop. My husband calculated that if we paid up based on 60 people in order to get the free drinks, we could save a little more than by getting the 10% off. The manager insisted that it was«such a small difference» and that we should go ahead with the 10% off. TOCLARIFY, WEAREOFFERINGTOPAYFORMORETHANOURACTUALNUMBEROFGUESTSINORDERTOQUALIFYFOR A DISCOUNTTHATTHERESTAURANTRENEGEDON, BUTTHEYHAVETHEGALLTOTELLUSNOANDSQUEEZEEVERYLASTDOLLAROUTOFUS. They might as well have grabbed us by the ankles and shook us upside down because this was NOTHINGMORETHAN A SHAKEDOWN. Honestly, I believe the restaurant didn’t anticipate that most of our guests would order drinks.(It turned out to be a hot day in the valley – who knew???) Then when they saw that our drinks would cost over $ 100, they unscrupulously reneged on the discount they agreed to. At this point, my husband and I agreed to the 10% off because we didn’t want to fight over this any more and ruin this happy event(the celebration of our daughter’s baptism) and the rest of our time with our guests. Needless to say, we won’t be coming back ever again.

On Wednesdays, I hang out next door at the Game Ogre with my friends. I imagine I’m a Half-Elven Ranger, and I slay diabolical dragons whilst exploring their dastardly dungeons with my companions. For the past few weeks, when party-members get hungry and/or bored during the low points, they’ve been going here for rations to endure the long battles. They come back with to-go containers full of food that looks quite appetizing and wonderful. After a few weeks of this, I arrived early, and decided to check it out for myself. A big banner shows that the buffet prices have dropped to bring people in. $ 10.99 for all I can eat sounded daunting. I rolled my d20, and succeeded on my morale check. I walked in, and was quickly greeted and seated by the hostess. She put a place setting on a table, and then turned to gesture towards the buffet. I learned my lesson on the beverage with prior buffet experiences, and simply asked for a glass of water. Because beverages are an up-sell at these places. I put on my best buffet face, and launched into action.
Round 1: I tend to start my explorations by cruising through the fried section. No change here. Grabbed some spring rolls, some crab Rangoon, some dumpling thingies and some Japanese chicken. The Crab Rangoon was the high point. The Spring rolls were dry and tough. The chicken & dumplings were decent? My detect magic spell revealed no magic in anything. It was here I discovered I had no knife. The chicken was cooked, but still connected… I used a spoon as best I could to split the chicken bits.
Round 2: I usually check out the familiar things for round two. I went with their lo mien and orange chicken. There was a thing called ‘crab and cheese’ It was ok. Both crabby and cheesy. Meh?
I was getting pretty full by this point, but decided to relax, play some Nintendo, and take a breather before going back up. I played a few games, and did my best to generate the ever-helpful ‘clearing belches’ that usually help to free up space in these scenarios… Round 3: Fruit & Sushi. Light, fluffy. Not so much. The sushi had been there a while by the taste of it. Kinda dried out, and chewy. The watermelon was good though. Fresh, juicy, cold. But… how can you screw up watermelon? I mean really? Round 4: At this point I wasn’t sure how much more I could put down. But I’d seen ‘prime rib’ up there and passed it several times. I guess I was looking for the carving guy that’s usually there at places like this. Making sure you get a tiny-tiny slice. Well, I laid down a bed of some weird noodly-things, and picked up that carving knife and pokey-fork thing and sliced off my own slab ‘o meat. I brought it back and tried it out. Again, the noodly things seemed like they had been out a bit, but the prime rib was pretty decent. Remember, still no knife. I used the spoon as best I could, but did end up eating some awkwardly large pieces of dead cow. Good thing I was alone and didn’t have to maintain a conversation. They’ve got a Mongolian BBQ area, I’ll try and give that a shot on my next visit. So, all in all, it was okay? Nothing really blew my skirt up? Total bill was $ 10.99, I left a dollar on the table. But it’s a pretty good place to graze for a few hours to restore your hit points before a long night of gaming next door.
