The pancakes are always delicious but the waitress I had today was exceptional, my sister and I went together today and as it turns out were both very picky eaters, so naturally our orders are usually very picky as well, I wasn’t able to catch her name, but the waitress I had brought everything out just like we had asked, which is rare because usually with such specific instructions at least one thing is just slightly tweaked, but not today! so thank you waitress whose name I didnt catch!

This IHOP is right next to csun and is easy for the residents to access. I go here a lot when my parents come in town and the service is always great. The people are rly nice and always complete our complicated orders. I recommend the pumpkin pancakes that are seasonal!!! Don’t miss out they’re amazing(:

The service here is usually good because its never busy. But during this last visit my son ordered the silly face pancake and it came out looking nothing like a face(maybe an imitation to Sloth from the Goonies). We were the only people in the restaurant, so its not like the cook staff had to rush our order together & slap a make-shift face on the pancake.

I went to this location only once, after going a lot to another location and i was very disappointed. first, they had a lot of empty tables but I guess they were under stuffed because lots of people were waiting outside, then when we ordered we asked for substitutions and they said it’s not possible. I don’t eat meat and i wanted Toast instead and they said they can’t do that. since when bread is more expensive then Bacon? eventually they agreed to replace my hash browns for toast for additional $ 1. when i told the waitress i always do that in another location, she said it was the owners decision. this is one IHOP i won’t go back to

So we order $ 4 orange juice with no refills. The omelets were way over cooked and had no flavor. The hash browns were burnt and the hollindase sauce looked like chunky honey mustard. The blueberry pancakes were good. Our waitress was very sweet but the hostess Savannah aboviously was having a bad day and has no good customer service skills. I even paid for my drinks and nothing was offered for the inconvenience. I’m highly offended. I wont be coming to this location ever again.

This is an ok IHOP. It’s located near csun so it get really packed during the weekend. I’ve been here plenty of times and I’ve noticed that their service is slow whether it’s busy or not. I go here only when I’m seriously craving pancakes but I try to avoid it. It’s good if you’re free all day and you’re by yourself not necessarily a great place when you’re in a group or treating someone. Food is good though, I’ll admit that.

After waiting in line for 30 minutes they would not even seat me until I made a donation to their charity. I have no problem making donations to charities, what I have a problem with is being forced to give money before I even get service. The add said it was voluntary. The donation was in no way voluntary! I don’t like to be lied to so I paid full price at Denny’s.

The food was ok as well as the service. I was a bit confused on who to ask for a refill considering we had about 3 different waiters and no, it wasn’t busy. This place is a bit too small. I often found myself listening in on people’s conversations with out even trying. Over all, it doesn’t feel like an ihop, it feels like more of a mom and pop place. Probably won’t come back to this location.

Ok, so I’m a Csun student and me and my friends decided to go to IHOP on a Friday morning. We entered the doors and were greeted by a very nice employee. We got our table and ordered. Me and my friend got an entrée with unlimited pancakes. We ended up eating the entrée and the first stack of pancakes and we order our second stack of pancakes. Everything is fine at this point. We get the second stack and I ate it all but my friend was too full to finish them so he decided to take it to go. He calls the closest employee and it turned out to be the manager. She is asain and wears a dress shirt rather than the IHOP uniform. She ask whether or not my friend wants a small or large box and my friend replies wanting a small box. Then she grabs our receipt that our very nice waiter left us and notices that we got unlimited pancakes. Her mood totally change and she grabbed the box from my friend and quickly stated the policy of the unlimited Pancakes and how IHOP would be loosing money if we were allowed to take pancakes home. I understand the policy but then again it was very rude of her to snatch the box of pancakes. She didn’t even give my friend the choice to eat it rather than taking it to go. Worst experience we have had at an IHOP.

Super busy but what can you expect when it’s 11am in the morning. The host gave such a horrible attitude towards the customers. Since it was extremely busy and everyone was coming in all at once. The whole front of the entrance was jammed packed and she was the only one trying to help and get customers names to get seated. Over all my boyfriend and I like I hop and there food.

I love this Ihop. Yes it is small but the food is delicious. I think the service is totally awesome and the employees seem really nice and care about how my food is. This is a good breakfast place.

Worst service ever. Do not come here. Food sucks and service is beyond slow. Your lucky not to grow a beard waiting for your food. Horrible business skills and manager sucks! I.e. no customer respect. Let’s just say if you’re into crappy service, food, and being treated like shit. This IHOP is the place for you!

I go to this IHOP a few times a month it is normally okay. I went today stood in line for about 20 minutes for them to forget to get my take-out order, after I got the food it was not only cold but I had a long hair in the sandwich and I was told I had to come in bring the sandwich in to show them. I would not go back there iF I I ate free for life, worst customer service ever.

I’ve been coming to this IHOP for years now. The first time I came here was when I was a csun student. I remember how busy it was back then. I’ve visited here a couple of times after that by myself, with friends and with family. The service is always exceptional. There is close to no wait time during the week and whenever we make phone orders they always get it right. The meats are always soft and juicy and their pancakes are flavorful, not dry like other places. They have ample parking space at the back and I find this particular IHOP great to eat and study without much noise. It’s definitely a calm and serene atmosphere. Great place for both family and students alike.

I’ve never been a fan of ihop’s pancakes, and when we go here, i always order something else and not their pancakes. We decided to drop by today coz of the free birthday pancake they give on your birthday.(Who doesn’t like free pancakes?) but in my opinion, our homemade pancakes were still much better. Service was so-so. I showed our waitress the birthday coupon and she had no idea what it was. Called the manager and they both checked my id. And left without a greeting. Would’ve been nice to get a «happy birthday» from them, but what do i expect, this is not disneyland. Lol. My biggest disappointment though was my order of a side of bacon and sausages worth $ 5. It was not at all worth the $ 5.(See photo) To top it off, they gave us our bill when we’re not even halfway done with our meal. I get it, too much people waiting in line outside, but then i would appreciate being able to eat my meal without the pressure of having to leave. Overall, not a favorite. Won’t go back here again.

Ok so as I predicted this place sucks. It was my birthday and I had a print out. the waitress started at the print out as if she had never seen it before. The birthday print put use to be pancakes, eggs, and hash brown but now it’s only pancakes. The food was mediocre. I’m going to Denny’s.

Small location and only two waitresses on a Saturday afternoon. I like that it was small and that service was very quick! Our food came out really fast. :) The two female waitresses worked as a term and took care of the few tables there. Everyone seemed served and satisfied! :)

It’s not this location’s fault, but when IHOP offers coupons, say, for your birthday, it makes you print them out. I’m sorry, can we please get with the times? Any other major restaurant chain I go to has QR codes or other ways for mobile coupons to be accepted – and only once, if they’re worried about cheats. But if it wasn’t for Maria at the nearby Liberty Tax preparation(not even the local print shop could help me), I wouldn’t have been able to use my birthday coupon, which would have sucked and soured my opinion of IHOP even further, even if this location is decent food and service-wise. Okay, I guess my pancakes were DROWNING in strawberry glaze…
