This location used to be good back when the corporation owned it a few years ago, but ever since these new geniuses bought and have been managing it, it’s gone down. I had an email from Denny’s for a free birthday breakfast, but when I came to this location, the manager refused to honor the deal. Instead, he tried to up sell it and give me something else that would cost over $ 11 What a Rip Off. There were people sitting all around my table; they saw and heard everything the manager told me and were shaking their heads in shock, disagreement and disgust. Anyway, I was given NO free breakfast. I decided that I wasn’t going to give them even a penny of my money. So, instead, I went to the Devonshire/Balboa location which is clean, nice, with better reviews and run by decent people who understand the American way of doing business. I got my free breakfast and ended spending $ 10 more on a slice of Pie and OJ. Denny’s is an American Diner and should be managed by people who understand and practice the American way of doing business. Shame on this Denny’s ownership and management. You will be forced to sell back to the corporation or some other ownership soon, mark my words :)))

we came in a Thursday night after a high school graduation, and of course it was really busy, the manager told us the waiting time was about an hour, which is understandable due the quantity of people inside and out, anyways the staff was very polite(everyone) the manager above all(Ali). The food was great, everything was great that night including the waiting time, I just want to say thanks for the service and the patience to deal with customers thank you all and of course we will be back.

The waiter Eric was awesome, he is actually the only reason why I’m giving this place 3 stars. The manager on duty was a total douche bag Rude and didn’t care that my ordered was made wrong he said«keep it» and ask the cook to make me another one. Not coming back here ever again. I just feel bad for the waiter(Eric) that has to work under such assholes.

This is BYFAR the worst Denny’s in the valley. Every trip here(today’s being no different) is a problem. Food is wrong, the managers are morons and the staff is beyond rude. Tell me how it takes 25 minutes to get a shake but the rest of the table got their meals. I will not be coming back here and I HIGHLY recommend that you visit IHOP across the street instead

The service was terrible!!! The old guy in an orange polo shirt brought us our food should not be doing customer service!!! The guy brought out my friend’s dish which had red skin potatoes and they were super oily… my friend asked if it could be remade or if he can just switch it with something else because it was oily. The guy in the orange polo said, «why?! do you want me to take it to the back and dry it with a napkin? This is how it is! We don’t know how you want it?! »

Are you kidding me? I always go to this Denny’s location after work. I usually order to go, and then go home to eat. I also always tip on my Togo orders because contrary to what people might think, someone actually takes the time to pack your stuff. The tip is not the same as if you’re dining in, but nonetheless every little bit helps. Tonight, I actually dined in here for the first time with Bae. It started out great. We were greeted, and seated. The waiter took our order, no problems. I had Minute Maid OJ, soup, and a Philly Cheesesteak omelette with redskin potatoes only. No taste, no hash browns. A few minutes later, he came back and said they had no OJ, and if I wanted anything else. I was ok, with just water. No problem so far. The problems begins when I think the shift manager brought me my omelette with my redskin potatoes. It was soaking in oil. I always get this because it’s the healthier substitute. I pointed this out to him, and he said«do you want us to wipe them with paper towels?» Omg to the xyz! Which restaurant or dining establishment wipes their oily potatoes with paper napkins! I said, I’ve had it here before, and it’s not suppose to be oily. He then says, «that’s how we do it here.» I then calmly said, I don’t want this dish anymore, I want to send this back. I’ll just have the soup. After that, we had no service. Regardless, I still tipped for Bae’s food. Not mine. How rude! How did you get your manager position? How can you serve a healthier choice drenched in oil! Never coming back to this location! I like Denny’s food, every time I asked for a redskin potato substitute, it’s always done well with minimal oil. It’s potatoes, the chef would know how to make it less oily!

Wish I could give this place zero stars. Worst Dennys I’ve ever been to. Had to wait 10 min for someone to serve drinks. Waited 45 min for my food. By far the most disgusting food I’ve ever had At any Dennys location.

Cleaner. Better servers. We come here mostly for convenience, and there is a great server. She is so happy, and we love to see her. It’s fast service, and the breakfast choices are the only reason we eat here. If you want dinner, or even lunch… don’t eat here. It’s good for breakfast. You get your eggs exactly how your order them. Be specific if you’re a picky person.

STAYAWAY!!! This location seems to be cheap when it comes to portions. Have come here several times and it is different from other locations. Paid $ 4 for a shake and got a small cup. The service is terrible, they need to work on their customer service.

After my buddies and I finished up our Pathfinder game, we hung outside the Game Ogre for our usual thirty to forty minutes chatting and planning for the next few meetings. Suddenly, my tummy rumbled. «Suddenly I’m hungry.» I said. «I’m kinda hungry too.» Said Rey. «I’m game, where should we go?» Mike asked. «What’s open at 11:30 on a Wednesday night?» Chimed in Andrew. «Denny’s is right over there?» Rey answered. «Meh?» «Meh.» And so we all piled into cars and drove down the street to Denny’s. We entered, and were pretty unenthusiastically led to a table. Surprisingly enough, it wasn’t empty. Several other tables were occupied by groups of people chatting about things. Our lackadaisical waiter asked us for drink orders, and then walked off to get them for our six person table consulted the menus. After deciding what we wanted, some of us attempted to use our devices to communicate with the wi-fi bubble, but instantly failed as there wasn’t one present. Waiter returned with our beverages, handed them out to us, and spiritlessly took our orders. I went for a pair of sides, rather than a full on giant thing. I wasn’t super duper hungry after all. I opted for a hobbit sausage and some pancake puppies. My friends all ordered their assorted appetizers and meals. After another few minutes of discussing character ideas, rules, and complaining about gamers not present, our food began to arrive. Our discussions quieted and the sounds of eating commenced. The food was about as good as I’ve come to expect from Denny’s. Falling squarely in between«Magically stellar» and«Grossest thing I ever ate.» It was ok. After an hour or so, we were done with our food, and even our conversation had slowed to a crawl. It was nearly one in the morning, and we were obviously winding down. We decided we were done, and it was time to go home. We took care of our individual bills at the front register, and finally returned to the parking lot. Thank you Denny’s. Thanks for being open all twenty four hours of the day, and being capable of filling a belly at even the witching hour. We might be back?

Denny’s isn’t the place that you plan to go to, it’s more like the kind of place you end up in. I’m not a huge fan of diners/diner food, so this review is solely for their desserts and service. When you’re craving some late night sweetness which must be satisfied within that hour, and no candy or chocolate at home can cure this crave, Denny’s in the midst of it all. Their caramel apple crisp avec a scoop of vanilla ice cream usually hits the spot, although it could use a little more crisp. Their portion is good enough for two or more people, but definitely not for one. At $ 3.49 it’s such a steal, and you get to satisfy that midnight craving! Service-wise, I can’t really complain. I usually come late night when there are a few customers, so they’re bound to make continuous rounds. Coffee gets refilled and water is topped off, I’m happy. My biggest gripe is their bathroom. With only two stalls in the women’s bathroom, and a very slow night, you’d expect some cleanliness. Instead, I found myself uncomfortably positioning myself to avoid stepping on poo.

Short review: This Denny’s is the best in Northridge. I have never had a problem with food, and the service is fast, never letting me sit starving. It’s perfect for a group of friends or a quick breakfast by yourself. I highly recommend it. The other Denny’s I’ve been too, never compare.

We went in on a busy late Saturday morning with a party of 20. Tough to accommodate that any anywhere. We did opt to split up into 4 different tables with our kids scattered and mixed over all of them. Marissa was our server. She alone made our experience a 5. She was so patient with us as we sent her from table to table to deal with our kids. The food was very good and prompt. Even with other tables in the section, Marissa handled all. I was so impressed with her. I have absolutely no negative things to say about this experience. Now I understand that this is Dennys and one shouldn’t have too high expectations. But 5 stars goes to this store, for this one visit in particular.

If I can give them a zero I would. I just left this place like 5 mins ago Walk in no one notice, workers walking pass by my husband and I. I myself sat my own self done with the menu that I got myself. Told my husband OK let’s five more minutes. Waited for NOTHING so we left. Horrible customer service. A very big advice teach your workers customer service!(Went to the one on Reseda and saticoy and walked right in got greeted nice and sat us done) :)

This location I think is the best around the area. We had great customer service and the food was great. I always walk into a Dennys assuming the worst. Honestly most locations don’t have the greatest customer service. I was very happy with the waitress who helped us. We only waited about 15 minutes for our food. I got the Country Fried Steak with mashed potatoes and a side of Mac n’ cheese, which was delicious. Must try.

So first I want to say that the manager Kumar is a liar and very unprofessional, I ask for fresh onions/food but got old not fresh onions. Service is awful, servers are rude and they don’t even offer refills. Don’t come here.
