Most of the locations don’t have more than 3 sometimes and when I say it’s ok I’ll wait they give it to me yellow ugh. Anyways this location is the best one in the valley

How does a ‘Pollo’ Loco run out of chicken an hour before close? I pull up asking for a family meal but the respond by saying they only had 5 breast and wings… with an hour to close!
Then on top of that they couldnt bag my order appropriately. Everything smacked into a bag. C’mon Management. Big L’!

I have visited this location regularly as it is on my way home from work. From the drive-​through, I have noticed a change in staff and this may be responsible for the latest issues. They are always friendly, but there are some things that friendliness just can’t compensate for…
To put it shortly, I have received the wrong order more often lately (Via the Drive-​through). This very last time, simply everything was wrong.

What’s not to like about El Pollo Loco? It’s good healthy chicken which is a cut above KFC (which isn’t bad either). I happen to like spicy food and they’ve got it. It may just be the best «fast food» you can get, and it is fast. I like their sides.

I came to this location 2 nights ago with my boyfriend and the drive thru girl had a really bad attitude. Before my boyfriend could even ask if he could add churros on the order she closes the window. I didn’t get her name but she was fat and dark. Never coming here again.

Once again, Susan and her team took great care of us and the food was spot on. We drive here from Porter Ranch and do not mind now driving past the other store on Chatsworth and Balboa… A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE… In fact my son went to the location on Balboa and Chatsworth for lunch yesterday but left because they simply do not care, my location on Nordhoff and Balboa was a touch too far for lunch. Keep up the great and consistent job Susan !

I was a regular at this store until tonight. Not only did I get disgusting attitude throughout my order by a girl who looked like she had pepperoni a exploding off her face, and to top it of I just got back home to find no fucking sauces with my bowl thanks I spent 8 bucks on dry rice. This is ridiculous

We play bingo on Saturday, everyone (about 22 – 24 players) fork up $ 5, someone goes out to El Pollo Loco to buy chicken and sides… when they get there about 5:30pm (dinner time) they are told there is no chicken ready… what…why…the person in charge says, they are trying to not waste food, not to make more than is needed… how long before it is ready… they are told 25 minutes… this is unreal at 5:30 they don’t have chicken on the grill… when they come back over half hour late, and tell us the story… this is about $ 110 order… all the players vote to NOT buy ever again from this location… this is not about bad food… this about stupid managment

Jesus Ordonez and the staff here on 12÷05÷15 were prime examples of how to treat customers. Makes me want to bring the family a little more often.

This is my local El Pollo Loco. I eat here about once a month.
Employees are friendly, service is fast, food quality is decent, salsa bar is well-​stocked, dining room is clean and its newly remodeled.

First of all, it was very very cold in the restaurant. There is air conditioning vents all over the restaurant and they were literally blasting out air at 7pm at night! It was not hot outside at all… no need for the A/​C on. I asked the manager to turn down the air, but that never happened. My wife order a combo meal… the chips that were given to her were stale tasting… we threw them away! I ordered the new chicken, sausage, and shrimp meal… ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! The sausage was old and tough tasting… it obviously had been sitting out. The shrimp was very puny in appearance, tasted gross, and it too had appeared to be sitting out for some time. The chicken was on the colder side. The food was just not good in quality. In fact, my family eats at El Pollo Loco 1 – 2 times each week and this was one of the worse food experience I have had here. Don’t get me wrong, I was very impressed at the way the staff presented itself. I thought the cashiers were very genuine, cordial, sincere, and polite… its just the food prep and cooks that was horrible. I took my sausage and shrimp back to have them re-​do it and the results were staggering. I have attached some pictures of the difference, so you can see for yourself. However, it took them about 5 minutes to cook fresh meat and by that time, my meal was cold and ruined. I was very disappointed on this visit.

I am a El Polly Loco fanatic! This location had me waiting 15 mins for over cooked & very dry chicken– parked & went in, no drive thru. It was not pleasant

Probably the BEST el poco loco I’ve ever been to.
Came here after an excruciatingly beastly workout and was absolutely famished. Ordered the grilled chicken mango tostada. (Which is actually a chicken salad on a toasted tortilla) and it was DELICIOUS. Chicken was tender and flavorful. Plus, the mango salsa and dressing tickled my tastebuds.
Customer service was exceptional and the inside seating area was über clean.
Don’t know if today is just a really good day or maybe it’s because I’m still feeling the preworkout buhh… This spot was goooood. Like Arnold always said. I WILL BE BACK!

I wish there was another location closer by. The staff at this location needs to learn customer service. The audible sighs and eye rolling are totally unnecessary and rude!

Let me just say that I will NEVER EVER EVER come to this location ever again. I’ve always had problems with this El Pollo Loco, not once but several times. I would say that every time that I’ve been here there has always been a mistake after the other. The most recent experience was just a few weeks ago. I pulled into the drive thru for my sides I requested macaroni and cheese which I heard was really good mind you I never had it before. Well guess what they ran out? Really? Okay I asked the guy what else is good for a side he recommended the cole slaw I like cole slaw so I said yes I want that and some rice. I pull up to the window, guess what? Oh I just came back from break we ran out of cole slaw? Are you for reals? No mac and cheese and no cole slaw, alrite. Well let me just get the corn and rice. Next, I ordered the 2 piece meal with 2 sides, flour tortillas and a small root beer, my husband ordered the shrimp tacos. While we were waiting the guy gave us our drink mind you this was a large drink not small and guess what else, it was Dr. Pepper, what the heck is wrong with this kid. Didn’t I just say I wanted root beer. Anyhow I ended up telling him hello I asked for root beer, not Dr. Pepper 2 different things buddy. We get our food and head home. So we sit down together and began to eat our meal and guess what? No freaken flour tortillas once again they messed up. I was sooo upset because that’s what I wanted flour tortillas with my meal so I end up grabbing my keys and purse head down and drive 5 mins just to get my stupid tortillas. I walk in and the line is super packed so I just go to the side and say dude you forgot my tortillas I had to yell it to the guy cuz he couldn’t hear me oh sorry maam. Screw you!
I get back home super grumpy already about to enjoy my meal well at least try and I get my salsa this idiot gave no salsa he gave me the wrong salsa and didn’t salsa after I specifically specified I want red salsa and cilantro salsa.
The meal was horrible I couldn’t even enjoy it, even my Husband disliked his people, the shrimp were cold and not good. A waste of $ 17.42 for a garbage meal. I ended up calling their corporate office to discuss the details of what took place it’s been 6 days now and no manager or anyone has called to apologize, it just goes to show!

it has been so long since I had the chance to visit an El Pollo loco and here we are! coupon came in the mail so we were off!
the coupon was for $ 10 meal deal for 2 people, after checking the receipt, basically it is a $ 3.50 coupon from the regular price, either way, it is a great deal for a whole lotta food!
the cashier super nice, he was the manager i think, and went over the order, asked if we needed more, gave suggestions, etc
then there was another woman who brought us the order (We had takeout) and went over the order, unpacked the bag, repacked etc she was also very sweet
so, the meal comes with 4 pieces of chicken, which was delicious, juicy crispy skin not too salty
there is also tortillas, but unfortunately, they were all torn apart and in pieces :/​
we had three sides, we ordered mashed potatoes (meh, for the girlfriend, not a fan personally) mac and cheese (so good, so cheesy) and coleslaw (it was a bit dry on the dressing, but fresh crunchy cabbage)
also as a side, it came with two loco salads, the salads are simple, but he dressing was so light, we added a few of the salsas to it, i also added some of my chicken to it, came out delicious!
then it also came with dessert! chocolate churros! they actually tasted a bit greasy, but still good and chocolatey!
and finally just two fountain drinks
i love Pollo Loco’s salsa bar, onions peppers hot sauce, salsa, everything you need! and all the salsas were delicious
overall, i am still a fan of pollo loco and will happily return to this location!

I stop at this location and saw new item on the menu enchilada with rice and broccoli which to me was kind of strange because you would think they would serve it with beans.
I like the Pollo bowl overall I like El Pollo Bowl

If you’re going to end up at an El Pollo Loco, go here. Don’t get me wrong I’ll choose El Pollo Loco over McD’s any day, but this one is an awesome one! Staff is very welcoming! They say hello and genuinely talk to their guests. Just makes a fastfood join seem more like a hole-​in-​the-​wall. :)

I have too say this location does try too do better than other locations by giving you a number to set on your table and the employee brings your order too then you standing around waiting for them to call you name. The employees where very friendly and they also removed my tray for me.
Not sure if this location is corp or fran, In witch case they should learn to all being and doing the same thing. Provide the best service you can. Anyways only 3 stars because the restrooms where dirty and the dinning room floors had a lot of paper on the floor. The salsa bar also needed some attention.

I love El Pollo Locco chicken. White meat well done, flavor is perfect, crispy skin… YUM! this is a good location, I’ve never waited long and the chicken is always seasoned and grilled perfect and fresh, right off the grill.
