Well where should I start! Ummm theirs no price on the menu! Until you go up and order yourself. And they mixed up the order of 12 people. I waited for my food an extra 15 minutes that’s unexceptionable by any standards. I’m gonna have really think about if I want to comeback to eatery any time soon.

The tomato basil soup was sour and mostly just tomato. I also ordered the Anaheim Panini. It was tasty, but lacked bacon. My mom ordered the Bacon and Cheddar Panini, it also lacked flavor. Even the bacon a la carte was bland. The server was friendly, but rushed. I also don’t like that the managers were interviewing or maybe training at tables where people should be eating. Shouldn’t they have an office for paperwork and then teach hands on? I don’t like the set up for ordering. Everything feels very closed in and rushed. The eating areas is nice, though.

Been coming here for a while now. Always have good experience. However today, my chopped salad isn’t chopped well. The chicken was a deli cut thin and clumpy. I had to ask for a knife to cut it.(The server only hand me a single fork and a napkin). The blue cheese is in a big chunks. It wasn’t busy at all since it is only 4 p.m. right now.

I guess 12:30 on a random Tuesday is a bad time to show up. There wasn’t a line, but my wife and I ordered 4 different items all of which we were told they were out of(no pork items, no broccoli and cheese soup, no squash soup…). I was shocked. I’d assume that would happen closer to closing or at least at the end of the day. Not towards the beginning of the lunch hour! At least the employee was friendly and very apologetic about it. Hey, I get it. Sometimes thing like that happen. Luckily they’ve got a big enough menu that we were both able to find something we would like and it tasted great. Just maybe come up with a 2nd&3rd option just in case.

I love corner bakery but more often than not I’ve been left disappointed at this location. In the mornings they constantly run out of potatoes for their breakfasts no matter what time you get there. Their service is a hit or miss. But today really was a bad day. I got lunch from there and got a to– go order. I ordered the tortilla chicken soup which is usually really great. However today when I got back to work to eat I opened up the soup container and all I got was BROTH. No chicken no veggies just broth. I have a limited time frame for lunch and this is really unacceptable.

Service is good. Managers are nice. Food is great, especially the pasta. I feel like portions overall have been getting smaller over the past few years, but still ok for the price. The only thing that bothers me is that people come in with their laptops, buy a cup of coffee and stay there for 8 hours so you can never get a nice large table or booth, only small tables that things barely fit on and people are walking all around you because it’s packed and there’s no room… internet is $ 14.99 a month from Time Warner. Please go home.

I actually have no idea why I decided to come here. I was driving around, looking for a small bite and a place with wifi to follow up on e-mails. I’ve always had an average experience with Corner Bakery in the past, but I don’t know if Sundays just aren’t meant for Corner Bakery. The cashier seemed unmotivated to do anymore than necessary, generally inattentive, and just a bit too cool to be there. Ok whatever, at least I’ll enjoy the food. I also have on idea why I decided ordering a Cubano here was a good decision, but it wasn’t. The sandwich was barely warm inside, and just didn’t look like any love was put into it. Maybe Corner Bakery is just getting too big to keep quality consistent.

Me and my boyfriends spot! we have a couple different food places we frequent but this one is probably my favorite :) weather its breakfast, lunch, or a last minuet dinner its always amazing! the baked potato soup is so good and its even better when you dip the chips they give you in, every sandwich comes with a pickle and a bag of chips. Try the BLT, extra bacon, add avocado, add cheese, substitute mayo for pesto mayo, and on sourdough and man is that an unbelievably good sandwich. They have really good pastries, some delicious lattes(a little on the less sweet side though), They even have a hibiscus lemonade and a black currant tea(i believe thats what they are) but together for an arnold palmer is amazing. We’ve never had service issues before, the place is always clean and the service is always polite and on top of it. they even have a beautiful patio! love this place. *** THEONLYTHING that makes me irritated about this place is the parking lot which isnt corner bakerys fault they were there long before the dreaded super king. this parking lot is always packed, nobody is looking just speeding and theres people everywhere in the parking lot with no regard for you, weather they are a pedestrian or another car, but again thats not corner bakerys fault, just a minor annoyance. ****

I should’ve listened to my fellow Unilocalers! I apologize for not following the pack. This is one of the worst breakfast places in the valley. There, I said it. The sandwiches took forever, and were COLD and not pretty looking(presentation people! Wth). And a coffee and milk carton took longer than the food. Um… what?!? Great location, just bad everything else. Uggghhh

Tony was awesome, made my coffee how I like it. Service and food was great. The 4 star is due to the women behind the counter, continuously chit chatting and when I asked for something you can tell they were very annoyed that I disrupted their conversation. Other than that I will be back, food is so good here especially when you’re trying to be healthy.

This place has a lot of competition in the area. I’ve stopped by here a few times while working in the area. Didn’t get a chance to try their coffee. I’ve always stuck with the blueberry muffin. It’s decent but the muffins across the way at the bagel shop are better

This place is delicious,! I’ve been here mostly for breakfast and their pancakes are a must have! Food is always fresh, simple, and comes in a decent size. My one only complaint is their hit coffee, I’m not a big fan of their hot lattes. I prefer to order an iced coffee with half and half, it definitely taste a little better.

Update: on the drive home my son and I got very nauseous! Got home and we are both very sick now. We had pancakes and bacon. Rusty/dirty utensils and plates. Did the dishwasher break down? Plate had dried up green crust and knives were covered with brown gunk. Also, the quality of food has severely deteriorated. What happened to this place? Once upon a time it was really good!

Food is average, nothing memorable. Not that it tasted bad, it was just nothing special. I got the southwestern salad and everything from the portion size to how it tasted was just okay. I might come back if I’m in the area.

A little disappointed with atmosphere, service, and quality. I wanted to go to Panera but they were closed to film a commercial. But Corner Bakery is down the street so I went there instead. When I walked in I felt like I was in a school cafeteria. I don’t know if it’s poor acoustics or if all the customers are just really really loud, but it’s not at all a relaxing atmosphere. I opted to get it to-go because I did not want to spend time in there. After waiting in a line that went to the door, it was finally my turn. When I walked up to the guy he didn’t greet me at all, just a stare waiting for my order. Well I guess they just skip pleasantries here. I ordered a regular caramel latte and a breakfast panini. My order was actually ready pretty quickly so kudos to that. But I guess I should have yelled my order over all the noise because I got a small latte instead. Oh well. I should have tasted my latte before leaving because they let the espresso shots sit too long before putting them in the milk so they had already turned bitter. So I now have a bitter latte, but a pretty decent panini. I’ve enjoyed other locations before but I think I’ll pass on this one.

They lured me in with a free lemon hand pie… I also purchased their Power Panini with avocado, spinach & egg with a coffee. This breakfast cost me $ 5.90– much less than my traditional Starbucks. Excellent customer service– Kyneshia helped me place my order and turned the menu boards around for me to show the breakfast items. She commented that no one else has told her the menu hadn’t been turned and thanked me for pointing it out! The food came out quickly. The breakfast panini was delicious, especially with their homemade salsa. The coffee, I chose Hazelnut Cream, was tasty and inexpensive. The lemon pie(free) was good as well. Easy in and out of the mini mall — and plentiful parking in the morning. Nothing makes me crazier than difficult parking and time-wasting in the AM. Overall, an excellent first experience with this location which is on the way to one of my work sites. I’ll be returning soon…

«Food-wise» this location is the same as other Corner Bakery Café’s around the town. You get the same food, pastries, coffee, and other beverages; but you don’t get the same service as you get at other Corner Bakery’s. Corner bakery is a self service café; after placing your order with the cashier, they give you a number and they bring your food and drink to your table. But here, they treat you as you are a friend and you visit them. The cashier walks over the table, SMILEs, and asks if the customer is satisfied with the order or have any questions or need anything. They are very friendly and nice. I like the fact that they treat customers like family. A perfect café for friends to meet up in the valley. I wish all Corner Bakery’s would value their customers like this one in Northridge.

This location gets very busy during lunch and on Sunday. Not sure why they charge $ 1.50 to replace chips to a salad and yet its a hand full of mixed greens. Come-on. Had the chicken pasta dish and also only 1 piece of bread. as for the service was Good. Does have Wi-Fi.
