Store manager is horrible. Worst customer service from here. She has short blond hair, the eldest one there. Absolutely horrible. So rude.

I received a candle as a secret Santa gift from a co worker and when I was opening the gift the bag ripped and candle fell and shattered :(I was so upset, and as a former employee of a bath and body works in Northern California knew that they had awesome customer service so I called and explained what happened to see what they could do to help me out and Edgar told me that I could go ahead and bring the broken candle and they would replace it free of charge! After having a bad day, bath and body works was able to completely turn my day around and make me happy! Thank you!!!

I’ve been shopping at BBW for years. I recently moved to the valley and the customer service at the Northridge store is unlike any other site I’ve shopped at. Today was my 3^rd and final visit to this store. I would gladly go out of my way to go to a different store to avoid bad customer service.

I’m obsessed with the 3-​wick candles here. I always have one burning in my living room, and need to have at least 2 – 3 backups or else I get anxious. A little crazy, I know. This store is close to my job, so I pop in during my break every so often to stock up. The store is nice, clean and I always find what I need. My issue is with the customer service.
While I appreciate being greeted and helped, I do not appreciate being greeted/​told about the numerous sales/​asked what I am looking for/​what scent candles I like and/​or being offered a shopping bag by 3 – 4 different people within 20 feet! They really seem to hover at this location, which for someone like me, boarders on annoying. Let me select my candles and don’t stand over my shoulder yapping! I’ve had a shopping bag thrust into my hands, even after saying twice that I didn’t need one. Then after I handed it back, I was told the candle jars are glass (duh) and easily dropped and I might want to take a bag. Why do I suddenly feel 5?
Sorry to vent, but it happened again today. I cringe when I walk in now, because their customer service is TOO aggressive. And they don’t seem to pick up on physical or verbal cues. Makes me want to start buying my candles online…

I’m literally obsessed with the 3 wick candles and I am pretty much only writing this review to talk about the sale they have on
We all know about the 2 for $ 22 3 wick sale AND GUESS WHAT?! It’s going on right now (today only. supposedly) WITH 25% off your entire purchase as well! AHHHHHHHHHHHH I want to buy all of them!
I think I’m just getting 4 though but still, ah go go go!

I used to love this place… this is more of a review on the products rather than this particular location…
Sooooo i really love the wall flowers right… i bought like 10 double packs in December. I’m on my second one already. So my daughter needed to plug in her laptop in the kitchen. She took the wallflower out of the wall and placed it on the dining table. This morning I noticed a weird black substance all over my table. The wall flower oil leaked out and literally ate all the varnish off of my table. These things leak and apparently according to other websites this can eat through wood, linoleum, and can ruin mirrors. Be very careful I now have to replace my table, there is no fixing this :(

Came here for the first time the other day and I really enjoyed it! The sales associates were super friendly and greeted me upon entry. I asked for all of the deals going on since B&BW is known for having uhh-​mazing deals, ESPECIALLY during the holiday season! I also had a 20% total purchase coupon so I ended up buying $ 70+ worth of stuff for only $ 41! #winning
I docked 1 star because I wish they had a larger candle collection. There are some candles on B&BW’s website that I want but they didn’t have them in this store :(

This place always has some sort of deal going on, which is great.
Located on the 2^nd floor, close to the Macy*s (not the Men’s Macy*s which is on the other side of the mall).
Every employee greets you with a warm smile and inquires how they can help. This is nice, but it can be a bit overwhelming if you’re just coming in to browse.
All their products have a very sweet smell. If you’re looking for something light, try the sprays versus the lotions, or perfumes. The candles are amazing. They’re about the same price as Yankee Candle.
What I don’t like about Bath and Body Works is that they seem to rehash the same scents that were discontinued. I’d like to see newer, fresher scents. I’m personally over a lot of their current stock and look forward to when they have a new scent in stock, which isn’t very often.

I seriously need to call their corporate. I am way late on giving them accolades.
Here’s what happened. We lost our gift certificates on the way into the store or someone pick pocketed us, not sure. Anyhow, called up and spoke to the management on shift. She was pleasant, helpful and took care of us.
I have NOT had a customer service experience like that in a LONG time. Thank you all so much for making my life easier during the holiday.
I will be letting management know — you rock!!!

This B&BW was ok. I simply need the management and employees to know which coupons and specials apply to what. I was told my coupon could not be applied only to find out that it could… Either way, it’s just okay. I really stopped buyiing many scented lotions due tot he fact that i neevr really use them or I simply get tired of smelling them.

I got a gift card for Xmas so I had to come in and get some of my favorite things… Japanese cherry blossom body butter and spray. The employees are always super friendly. I’m just glad this time they only came up to me once. the last time I went to bath and body works I ended up spending almost $ 100.
I came in got my favorite things and walked out. very proud of myself.
