So glad this place closed. When Nick actually ran it, it was good… but swiftly bombed… overpriced, still frozen pizza or spinach puffs. The new owners were dialing it in. and lost a lot of regulars.

Don’t just pile On (wonder if that’s a menue item) Never been here, don’t know anything about the place, but have given them one extra star just for being in business for 3 years. 6 one star reviews enough is enough

STOP! PLEASEDON’T GO! You will be well advised not to walk into this cr@phole. Here’s my story: I grabbed a Subway sub just a few doors down and saw this place as I was parking my car. So, I thought I would order their French Fries because I sometimes like balancing my healthy diet with additional starches & veges. So, I walked up to the cook/manager(5′ 6″ or so Caucassian male — bit heavy, balding with glasses) @ Nick’s and ordered a «large fry». The price was $ 2.29(a little on the pricey side) + tax which totalled $ 2.51. Within 5 minutes, he placed them in small paper bag, which he wrapped and then placed that inside of a larger paper bag. After handing it to me, I took out the smaller paper bag. Now this bag was the so small that remarked to the cook/manager, «Is this the large fry that I ordered?» He said, «We only have 1 size.» I replied, «Oh wow, well, I know what do to next time I need fries…» He said with an expressionless face, ‘Thanks…” Well, thanks for nothing buddy! The bag was so small that I ended up counting the fries in my car and let’s just say there were less that 16 fry strings in that greasy paper bag. Did I say STAYAWAY? If not, STAYAWAY from this 15 string joint for $ 2.51 cr@phole.

I was going to give this place 2 stars, because usually this is my go-to place for a pizza puff & cheese fries whenever I come home. For some reason, no one outside of the Midwest has heard of pizza puffs, so it’s one of the first things I get when I come home(as well as a real hot dog, italian beef, and real cheese fries). They only get 1 star because I went today and while the pizza puff was fine(you can’t really mess them up; they’re frozen and you fry them, the end) the fries have changed. They used to be tasty, thick cut fries but now they’re thin, way too crispy & oily, and not that good. So sad. I still have my pizza puff, but no more thick-cut fries. Oh Nick’s. You have fallen so far from the glory days of when the namesake owner was still in charge.

Even though the last review was right on, I’m adding this; it’s hard to understand how these guys managed to ruin this place, but they did; aside from the fact that Nick the former owner was an engaging fellow and these guys are not, they somehow manage to ruin the gyros and grilled burgers. No redeeming qualities.

This place used to be run buy an actual«Nick» and had good sandwiches and excellent gyros. It was taken over by a Russian couple about two years ago and has deteriorated tremendously. Greasy food… starchy, flavorless fries… UGH! I actually heard them refuse to give someone a hamburger instead of a cheeseburger on a «cheeseburger special». They said that it wasn’t a cheeseburger and that they had to charge them individually for the burger, fries and drink. STAYAWAY!
