I couldn’t believe this place was so packed in the dead of winter on a Thursday night! I almost didn’t go in because I didn’t feel like waiting In line(I really wanted to get home to watch Chicago PD). But I’m glad I waited it out. His place is pretty good. I ordered green tea with tapioca. It’s right up there with joy yees. It also reminds me of a place down near U of I that serves it. I don’t know how I feel about that white board they have right under the register though. You have kids coming in there and here is some pretty bad stuff on here. Don’t get me wrong, I found it amusing. But if I were a parent, I would be trying to keep my kids from reading the«Becky is a whore» comments. Lol. Anyway, for really good bubble tea that you will have to wait a good 15 – 20 minutes for, this is he place to go. Maybe I’ll try it on a Tuesday night.

Great bubble tea place! One of the best I’ve been to in the Midwest, but I’ve only been to a few so that isn’t saying too much. There weren’t a whole lot of options for Milk Tea, but that could be due to the menu being organized and labeled a little differently than the San Francisco menus. The traditional milk teas were there though, with Jasmine, Taro, House, and Almond flavors(look at my photos of the menus). My dining partners got an iced mocha drink and a smoothie, and both were extremely happy with their cold drinks regardless of the subzero weather outside. A section of the vinyl booth seating was starting to show its age through cracking, which was a bit unfortunate. Additionally, most of the chairs were mismatched. However, it somewhat added to the theme of a small bubble tea shop. All in all, I’d say it was a good experience. I would definitely go back here and recommend this to others!

I have been coming here for 10+ years now. Hands down the best bubble tea spot in Chicago. I have traveled near and far and I haven’t found a place that can compete with the fresh fruit freezes and the perfect consistency and flavor of the tapioca. They use real, fresh fruit for their smoothies which I love. My go-to drink is the watermelon freeze with tapioca. Perfect on a summer day(and also every other day).

Came here after eating kbbq and boy was it busy for a Tuesday night. It was after 10 pm and the line was already almost put the door. There was only one person working and he did his best to serve everyone. Maybe it was better if he had other workers available to help him ease the service a bit faster. Pretty small café with limited seatings but it’s very cozy. We had the fruit bingso and some bubble tea. It was pretty good for a late night snack. For the fruit bingo, the shredded ice that was use was not just plain ice it had some flavoring in it unlike other bingso I’ve ever had before which was great. The toppings on top was just enough. I guess it was a really busy night for them because then my bingso was serve on styrofoam. Why only four star and not five? This place is great but the service needs more work. While my friend was ordering, he just wanted to make sure that he got all his order and order correctly and the cashier was giving him attitude. Speaking in a loud tone he said, ‘Yeah, I got it!’ My friend just wanted to make sure. And yes I guess we came pretty late but they way he dismiss everyone was very inappropriate. He just yelled ‘We close, everyone get out.’ Maybe give us a 5 – 10 minute heads before abruptly kicking us out.

I have been coming here for a very long time and the flavor never changes. They are always consistent with their drinks and really fast with sometimes having a long line in the weekend nights. Love coming back to the friendly environment and my favorites gotta be strawberry dream, taro freeze, and they have great bingsoo! However the parking can get little tricky and when it’s packed there is nowhere to sit.

I don’t know how I didn’t come here often as a kid. It’s such a cute, hidden place. That’s what I like about it. It’s spacious, not overcrowded where you can’t even hear the person next to you. Also, this place has some great bubble tea. I got the mango freeze bubble tea. Yummy. That drink made me so full.

Customer friendly? Not at all, like jeez at least smile and ask how you are doing. If it’s busy, parking can be a pain. Prices are a bit high, so I don’t go often. I had the strawberry, apple, watermelon with tapioca it was good, not too sugary. Tried lychee before, but didn’t like it. Tried blueberry, carrot, and strawberry, I liked that better, you don’t really taste carrot in it.

Great red bean bingsu! After being extremely let down before when going to another place that claimed to have bingsu(but really it was melty and shaved frozen yogurt), coming here and ACTUALLY getting bingsu felt like a triumph of redemption. Good stuff good stuff.

Love their Bing Su — used to come here with friends for a quick fruity snack! Yum. The vibe is definitely younger — this place is open late and attracts a lot of high schoolers. As an adult you won’t want to stick around too long.

Mango lychee smoothie with lychee jelly! Love their bubble tea here. Still like joy yees more, but this is a very very close second(I admit it would probably be hard to tell the difference if I drank their bubble teas side by side) and easier to access when in the suburbs. Would definitely recommend and will keep coming back!

I was in the area, decided to give them another shot rather than going to the nearby café bene or tous les jour for bubble tea. Ordered an sberry watermelon apple fruit freeze(large $ 4.85). Perfectly refreshing for the summer day. I feel like the kiwi honeydew peach I ordered last time had potential to be great, but too little flavor and much ice. Holding it back from higher rating.

Definitely one of my favorite places to get Bubble tea. It has a nice atmosphere to hang out and they have a great variety to choose from. Parking can sometimes be difficult. I like how they seal the lids to prevent spills and allow for a good mixing. Highly recommend trying it! Personally, it is tied with Joy Yee’s for my top spot! I’ve only had their bubble tea and haven’t had a chance lately to try the fruit freezes. I used to get my drink with tapioca but over the years I’ve ventured out and have found that Lychee Jelly is MUCHMUCH better! I am a HUGE taro-coconut with lychee jelly fan!

Let’s admit it… Fruit freezes are hard to come across around this neck of the burbs, especially good freezes. Since I can’t head to Chinatown for my fix each time, Liquid Fusion is 2nd best. The freezes are tasty, I’m assuming they use real fresh fruit for them. My sons love the watermelon with no tapioca. I like the Taro with Lychee Jelly(Now I want one this very minute). Hubs is more adventurous and tries all sorts of different flavors. Next time I’m going to try the milk tea, maybe. They also have bing-soo, but that’s for next time. It can be busy depending on the time of day and stuff. Easy to get to if you’re heading northbound on Milwaukee toward Palatine Road, but can be a PITA to go the other way because traffic can be heavy.

Definely a fan for life. Am in love how they serve the drinks. They seal the lids. No akward spills in the car. Looks so awesome. Tonight I had the house bubble tea with the tapioca pearls. Never had or liked teas in my life and this was an instant love. I am so afraid to ask what the calories are in this drink. Everything they were serving everyone else looked good. Servers were also awesome and nice. This is a must to try place for tea lovers, coffee peeps and smoothie or fraps from Starbucks. This has to be the place to go to first before going to a Starbucks or a smoothie place. Just give this chain a try just for experience!

I’ve been coming to Liquid Fusion since I was in the middle of high school. So that’s nearly 8 years… Guess that’s saying something! Liquid Fusion is hands down the best bubble tea joint in Illinois. Yes, better than Joy Yee’s, better than Avalanche, better than Chill… I’ve yet to try Kung Fu Tea or Bee & Tea, but I’ve been to plenty of boba joints around LA and this is comparable, if not better. They have fruit freezes, specialty freezes, a plethora of tea, coffee freezes, waffles, bingsu, etc. I usually mix it up, but my favorites are strawberry dream(strawberry smoothie with a hint of creaminess) or any of their berry options. I believe I’ve tried all their fruit options… I recommend them all – even avocado and taro. Melon-ah is great too! Tastes like a melona bar. You have the option to opt out of tapioca(bubbles), but I always get them, sometimes I get extra tapioca or I even add lychee jelly! Mmmm My favorite tea is their iced house tea with tapioca. THEBOMBDOTCOM. Delicious!!! Their coffee freezes like Heath or Mocha are yummy too, but I usually don’t order them because they’re powder based(I used to work at a café that used that brand). If you get a chance, you MUSTMUSTMUST try their fruit bingsu. If you’ve never had bingsu, it’s basically shaved ice, misugaru, pat(red bean, if you want it), milk, fruit, condensed milk, ice cream and a bit of honey. I’ve tried most of the bingsu in the area and I prefer theirs. Love that they use misugaru, milk, condensed milk, and some honey. Really spectacular. Meant to share and worth the price. They also have a loyalty card that gives you 20% off(I think) after 10 purchases. I’d invested in that long, long ago cos I came so often haha. Another tip if you order a bubble tea, make sure you tip it over and shake it before you pierce the plastic seal with the straw. The bubbles get nicely incorporated and dispersed!

Me and my boyfriend regularly come here — rain, shine, freezing, hot, day or night. I mean, it’s to the point where we know some of their names(Celia and Oscar regularly at night) and they know our drinks(strawberry lychee mango/orange freezes on the regular), so maybe we’re here a bit TOO often. Regardless of who is making drinks, the service is friendly and receptive, the guy who I think is the owner is also behind the counter often. We don’t live close by either; that’s just how delicious the drinks are. But late night, this can’t be beat. Open til midnight or 1AM(1AM!?), sometimes we grab a bite to eat and head up here for our treat. There have been multiple times when the lines are OUTTHEDOOR and they are pumping out drinks in a timely fashion. I mean, this is serious. If there is a place that can do business in the dead of winter in Chicago, this HAS to be it! –KEYPOINTS– –There are a few tables. The space isn’t huge, but I wouldn’t describe it as small. Nice place to study when it isn’t packed, but if there is a line from the counter then it can get pretty loud with lots of people in one spot. –The worst thing I’ve had here was a pumpkin spice latte. I didn’t dock any points for that because it’s a seasonal drink, but I would never do again. However, the apple cider(another seasonal) was super delicious and I would get it every time, but again, seasonal. :( –My b/f is super particular with freezes, specifically about places that taste like they use more flavored powders vs. actual fruit. Liquid uses lots of fruit and no powders; only in my Green Tea(matcha) Latte that I know of. Can also recommend the milk teas by the same token. Obviously, we’ll be back. Maybe later tonight. :)

I’m like a spoiled child when it comes to the tapioca bubbles in my bubble tea. I take that back. I’m like a rational adult who has some expectations when they spend money on something. So, for around $ 5 for a fruit drink, I’d better get some fresh bubbles, yeah? Liquid fusion delivers. And their fruit drinks(strawberry kiwi both times) were pleasantly sweet and flavorful. I wish they weren’t so far away :(

Liquid Fusion is a misnomer as it sounds like it could be a bar or night spot, but this is a fantastic place for bubble tea, on par with if not better than Joy Yee’s(on their good days). We had an amazing strawberry kiwi bubble tea. Although I like the drink to be icy rather than watery, and theirs was the latter, it tantalized my taste buds and left me wanting more! Very fresh fruit and tapioca pearls. Great place if you’re in the Glenview area.

This place has earned my stamp of BBT in the Chicago burbs. Even though they don’t specifically call it «bubble tea» but rather the FuuuuuuuSION tea. I spent a good minute staring frustratedly at the menu for quite awhile to figure out where the heck the drink with tapioca balls were. I tried the House Fusion Tea which according to the elegant description on the menu is «made with quality black tea fused with a hint of cocoa.» I had no idea there was cocoa, but the thing was delicious! The tapioca balls had the perfect sQuish as well. This tea is great! I’ll have another!!!(Proceeds to smash empty cup on the ground demanding another*). The 2nd drink I had was the almond fusion tea. Was a solid drink, but I personally preferred the house. The 2nd drink was not good for my bladder on the drive home… I highly recommend this place’s House Fusion Tea TLDR: BubbleLicious definition make em Asians go loco
