Consistently good, prompt service. My mom and I love sushi and have had all sorts of rolls and sashimi from almost every sort of place(even the grocery store lol) but this is always our go-to. This time, we split the crispy duck salad, which was absolutely phenomenal. It was regular iceberg lettuce with cucumbers and carrots, with ginger dressing and a generous portion of perfectly cooked and fried duck on top. Neither of us had eaten all day, so we decided to split three rolls(one of them was a special roll) as well which was the perfect amount for us. The special roll we got was the Smith roll, and it was definitely worth the extra few dollars compared to other rolls. Staff is a little abrupt, but not necessarily rude, and they get their job done just fine.

Love this spot. Great for Chinese when you’re craving it. Don’t live nearby, but when I get to visit, I always stop in.

This place is gross. Really wish I kept walking. Their menus are dirty and falling apart, their glasses are dirty and stained. The waiter served my friend their soup while holding the bowl with his thumb inside. The soup was touching his thumb *vomit*. I dont know if their beef is the lowest quality they could find or simply not beef at all but I feel sick after eating here. Avoid.

Eew. The Teapot is little if any better than a Formica counter strip mall Chinese restaraunt bearing a name like Golden Lucky Panda Wok III. They have duck, real soy sauce and no french fries, but attitudes towards freshness and ingredient quality are similar. I distinctly remember eating here a while back and being astonished by the food my friend was served. Her beef was all gristle, looked like dog food, and tasted acrid. Close to inedible, gross Vienna Sausage sketch. Went here recently for sushi with a friend. My green salad was iceberg, not seaweed. The rolls were made with mushy, unseasoned rice. The panko crust was mushy and did not crunch, and the salmon inside was turning gray and smelled fishy. Like cheap supermarket sushi that’s been sitting for a few days. My friend’s dish tasted of cheap, industrial sauce… which it was swimming in, too. For what it’s worth, he liked his meal and thought my sushi was alright too. One star for not disgusting my friend, one star for the really low lunch special price.

Oh my! Place has gone way down hill. Rude counter service and truly inedible food– we took a bite and had to toss it out. Granted we ordered classic American Chinese food but oy! If you can’t make sesame chicken edible, it’s time to get out of the kitchen.

I’m sad to say that I will never order food or dine in this restaurant again. Tonight, I ordered some dinner for delivery – with a 40 minute wait time. No big deal – it’s raining and it’s dinner time. After the 40 minutes was up, the delivery person called to say she went to the wrong address, and it would be an additional hour. I called the restaurant back to cancel the order – by the time it would reach me, it would be almost 2 hours and the food would be cold. The woman who answered was mean and nasty. She started yelling at me, about the driver’s incompetence, about my impatience, or at least that’s all I could make out because she was yelling so loudly I couldn’t understand her. She was out of control. Then she hung up on me. I tried to call back but no one would answer. I wanted confirmation that my card would not be charged. I called my credit card company and the rep tried to call. She too was hung up on. The only saving grace was the driver, who called back a few times to give me information and was extremely apologetic. The other reviewers have commented on the quality of food, which has declined over the years but I still liked it. Others commented on customer service and until tonight I had no problems. The owner, Michael, needs to figure out his staff. He’s lost many customers already and will likely continue to lose them. Bummer– a few years ago, the place was awesome.

Are here tonight on a whim. Service was rude, and we were rushed. However, I’d like to say that the string beans with garlic sauce was very tasty and fresh.

I headed to Tea Pot after seeing that Osaka had a long wait(I know Osaka has the best sushi in Northampton but I was in a rush). I knew Tea Pot wouldn’t be busy but I was not expecting to be literally the only person in the restaurant. To keep this brief I ordered a sushi deluxe, which took about 20 minutes to show up. Someone came in, got food to go and left before I got my food. The waitress was unfriendly. She and the gentleman(who seemed like the owner) were having quite the loud and animated conversation while I waited. Once the sushi came out it was mediocre as I expected. This place used to be great years ago– now I am surprised it’s even able to stay open.

Trust what others have said. The restaurant have crap for food. The white rice is dried and inedible. The gluten free option my friend got was tasteless and inedible. The sushi had *clump* of hair on it. The stir fry all had the same msg ladened dark sauce with canned vegetable. Nasty.

I write this review as I sit here and await the check. We are the only 2 people here. I also wrote this as someone who once would have RAVED about this place. Boy, has my opinion changed. The service was flat out awful. Did I mention, WEARELITERALLYTHEONLYCUSTOMERSHERE??? Once the food was dumped onto the table, the snotty waitress never came back to see if we needed anything. I was DYING of thirst. I placed my glass on the outer edge of our table(usually means, I need a refill) and nothing. I also needed more duck sauce and of course, since she didn’t check on us, I got none. She was too busy chatting up with her co-workers, which is why she got less than 10% for a tip — and we typically tip 20−25%. Now, the food! Ugh! We ordered spider maki for sushi, which most people get as an appetizer if they also order other things. It was small and had very little flavor, and was«pasty». We are hardly sushi connesuirs, but this was just bad. We also got it with the meal and not as an app. More lousy service. We also got a pupu for 2 and pork fried rice. The pupu was small and flavorless, as was the rice. It used to be very good here… They used to have some of my favorite pork fried rice. There was literally nothing redeeming about our visit. It was lackluster, subpar, and an overwhelming disappointment. They did come to pick up our check pretty quick, so that was something. I’ve never been so happy to throw down $ 35.00, we just wanted to get out and we will not be returning. Too bad, because this used to be a GREAT place.

I liked the atmosphere but that’s not enough to get me back. Wonton soup was gritty. Pork bun had been microwaved, not steamed, as it was as hard as a rock. Sweet Potato maki roll was good but skimpy on the potato. Go to your other choice first.

Skip it. Food is terrible and service is worse. Scallops and shrimp with no taste and had to flag down a waitress to get chopsticks and a plate. How does this place stay in business?

The food was not good. Chicken wings had no flavor, the sushi had dried chives on the top of it, and the gran marnier shrimp wasn’t what it use to be. Out waitress wouldn’t get off her cell phone and to top it off gave us the completely wrong bill! Lol Must be new management. Very disappointed.

Service was totally fine. We were seated right away, given water and refills promptly, our food didn’t take long, etc. However, I must say that the food was pretty tasteless. I ordered the shrimp chow fun and shrimp dumplings appetizer. The waiter told me the shrimp chow fun was«medium-sized» but I thought it was a pretty big serving. I took home about half the plate of chow fun. The positive: affordable. The negative: Honestly, some of the worst Asian food I’ve had. Not bad necessarily but tasteless.

The welcome to the restaurant was around 7 pm when the waitress came to our table with the menus chewing rice while she talked to us.(She did the same when she gave us the check) It was friday night, and our usual sushi place was packed with a 30 – 40 minutes waiting list… Our 6 year old was getting hungry to the point of becoming a monster. We stumbled upon this place with only 5 tables with people dinning… That should have been our sign to no eat there! Blinded by hunger and now our friend and 2 year old kid getting restless and hungry too we decided to bite the Tako! Portions were smaller than other places, prices very close to tge rest of the Sushi eateries around, freshness of the fish… Well, fresh from 2 days ago. The Tako nigiri was sliced too thick and was rubbery beyond edible… Our vegetarian friend was very pleased by the quality of his veggie rolls. They do have Gluten Free soy sauce available for what is worth. Nobody on our party got gluten poisoned. We’ll not come back –ever– for borderline fresh sushi, a waitress chewing food while taking our order and an almost clean restaurant.

Teapot claims that they have bubble tea on their menu. Well, Teapot USED to have bubble tea. Even though they advertise it right on their menu they stopped serving it for some reason. The sushi is pretty damn bad. The California Roll that came as part of the Chicken Tempura lunchbox was too big and mostly avocado. They don’t specify what type of gyoza comes with the lunchbox, and much to my dismay it was shrimp. Lukewarm shrimp dumplings. The soup and tempura were the best parts. Not impressive.

The good: Great bang for the buck with their lunch specials. Open air seating The bad: Not particularly friendly staff. I feel like it’s a front for the mob so they could care less about me. Atmosphere is generic.

This is a nice place. Not too expensive. Not too run down, and has a quiet atmosphere. It’s good for a quick lunch. The sushi is good, on the upper side of average. If you’re looking for amazing sushi I wouldn’t choose this place, though. That being said, the people are fine, and for a nice lunch out, this is a good stop.
