Worst food ever! I ordered Wings and a cold cut grinder. First the wings were supposed to BBQ and they were spicy and the grinder was cold and disgusting.

Ordered their Cobb salad and got a salad with rolled cold cuts and cheese, iceberg lettuce, tomatoes and chickpeas… When I called to say they must have mixed up and sent me a chef salad they said that was their Cobb salad and that their chef salad contains ham and not turkey rolled with cheese. You can’t reinvent the definition of a Cobb salad — and if you’re going to at least list the description because when you just say Cobb salad people assume they’re getting avocado, blue cheese, bacon, egg and grilled chicken.

Great pesto pizza. I had one slice of pesto, it was large and very tasty. One was more than enough for dinner. Had a piece of their carrot cake as dessert, also quite good. Would totally recommend!

I think the pizza here is pretty good. It is a little bit above average pizzas. It’s not good to sit and eat there cause they don’t have a lot of room. The owners and employees are all super friendly! The deliveries r reasonably timed. I love it

I’ve ordered from here a lot and I know not to expect a lot, but tonight was the worst yet. I ordered a simple BLT club and when I open the Styrofoam box I at first thought they forgot the sandwich. Then I found it under the pile of heavy steak fries… smashed, soggy and inedible. The Styrofoam box they packaged their delivery food in had made most of the fries smashing my sandwich completely steamed, soggy and inedible as well. The lid of the box was dripping with condensation when I opened it. I have no idea what the owners are thinking packaging food like this. The sandwich was likely perfectly fine until it met it’s doom in steak fries and Styrofoam. I wouldn’t recommend the pizza here(low quality in every way) and the appetizers are all frozen/fried and no better than you get in the frozen section of Stop & Shop. Unless you’re looking for basic dorm delivery or food you plan to eat while completely drunk, your money is better spent in so many other places in Northampton.

I was at Conbust this weekend at Smith College. I did a food run here for my sister and I. Being limited with time and not being able to go far, I decided on this place. My sister ordered a grilled chicken wrap and I ordered the meatballs. The grilled chicken sandwich was pretty good and the sauce used was amazing. The meatballs on the other hand sucked. Everything was wrong with it. The meatballs didn’t taste fresh and the sauce had some type of spice that made them taste a bit off. So a combo of the meat not tasting fresh and the sauce not being awesome, the end result was that it wasn’t eaten. The people that work here are friendly and the service is pretty fast.

The pizza is alright(not as good as other places in town) but all of the delivery experiences I’ve had with them have been bad. The first time, the lady delivering my pizza texted me instead of calling me and then left after not even walking up to the front door or ringing the doorbell. I called and complained but nobody cared. The second time, the lady delivering my pizza was rude because she thought I wasn’t going to tip her. Pizza was also room temperature. Walking to Sam’s would have been a better bet.

When I went to school here, I ate a fair share of Pizza Amore. Their pizza by the slice is good, and some of their whole pizzas are also good. The Amore Special in particular, as well as their Hawaiian pizza, are good bets. Their chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, and some of their sandwiches are also good. Also, the guys who work there are generally really nice.

I tried to order a slice of pizza, which IS on their menu and I was told they were too busy so no Slice’s. Won’t be going there again.

Good pizza and fast service. Staff were rather unfriendly though, and the place itself doesn’t have a very good atmosphere — seems a bit too small and has a bit of a scuzzy feel. Regardless, though, the pizza itself is enjoyable, so no complaints from me.

Amazing Greek salad. Awesome price and giant portion. I always get chicken on it with garlic bread. It comes with giant chunks of Feta along with all the other Greek salad fixings but to top it off it comes with 4 or 5 stuffed grape leaves. Each and every time I come to town I have ordered the salad at least once. Delivery is quick and easy as is picking it up in store. Great customer service. I have had other food as well, pasta a la vodka, spaghetti and meatballs etc and I have yet to have something I did not enjoy. I highly recommend if you are in the NoHo area.

Not very good pizza. The interior is very cramped with not many tables. The inside is only good for grabbing a slice and that’s about all. It’s fairly obvious the majority of their business is take-out/delivery. Now I like greasy. I’m from New Haven and our pizza tends to be pretty darn greasy on average. It’s what I like. But this pizza was very very greasy in a very very bad way. So Pizza Amore, while I do very much love pizza, I’m afraid I don’t love yours.

I placed an order for delivery and it was speedy & pretty tasty! I got a calzone & mozzarella sticks. Both were tasty — can’t complain. I’ll go back again!

When I lived on Green Street, I used to come here late at night for pizza or pasta almost every other night. I can’t comment on the quality of their delivery service since I always picked-up my orders. Customer service was always all right or slightly better than all right for me because the owners and most of the cashiers were familiar with me since I came there so often to grab a slice or two. Pizza is OK, but definitely nothing to go out of your way for in Northampton or elsewhere. I ate there because it was the most convenient pizza place for me at a reasonable price. The buffalo wings are OK, too. I would avoid the gyro with fries because the fries get really soggy and gross, plus they smother the gyro with tons of sauce. It is gross.

Best delivery pizza in Northampton. I worked here when I was a senior at Smith and the owners, Eyup and Rico, and really nice people. They have really good pizza(especially when you order it fresh on the spot) and give you generous portions. The salads are pretty big, too. But really, if it’s finals week, your friend’s birthday, or you just got out of a break up, head straight to pizza amore and get their chocolate cake. It will make your day, promise. Also, the owners are nice when it comes to customer service. We’ve redone orders before if people complained, and Eyup once made a custom pepperoni pizza for a girl to give to her boyfriend on Valentine’s Day, and he didn’t even charge her extra. It was really cute. I used to make my own pizza there, and you probably could ask them to make it for you too — I used to make my boyfriend a little pizza with no sauce, extra cheese, with chicken tenders on it. It was good. Go to pizza amore – support local business and eat good food :)

I’ve never actually been inside Pizza Amore, but their salads are one of my favorite local deliveries when I neglect to pack anything and can’t get away from the office for lunch. I’ve tried several of the varieties, and my go-to is the chef salad. It is a HUMONGOUS bed of fresh iceburg lettuce, topped with green peppers, cucumbers, tomato, hard-boiled eggs, purple onion, ham, turkey, roast beef and cheese(lately I’ve noticed that you have to ask for the egg specifically or risk it being left off). When I say humongous, I mean straight-up massive and will seriously serve two hungry people or one person for two meals without any supplementation. All of Amore’s salads come with your choice of garlic bread or freshly made pita, and salad dressing. I’m extremely partial to the buttermilk ranch that they make themselves, and the pita which is big, soft and puffy and made in-house daily(I once heard a rumor that root beer is their secret pita dough ingredient?!?). My mother usually opts for the garlic bread… which is about half of a large grinder roll(but I don’t think they make it themselves? It seems fairly standard)…and instead of eating it with her salad, she saves it for the next day and tops it with tomato slices and cheese and throws it under the broiler to get a whole other meal out of it. The house salad with chicken is my second fave(iceburg, hardboiled egg, bacon, feta, mozzarella, purple onion, green peppers, cucumber and loads of smallish chunks of grilled, seasoned chicken — I think it may be the same chicken that they use for their suvlaki? its’ great)…with their homemade Italian dressing. I can also recommend the Greek salad and the antipasto salad. I did order the cobb salad once, but it was indistinguishable from the antipasto. I don’t know whether that was a mistake or just a peculiarity of Amore… because around that same time, their chef salads would often come as the antipasto salad and we had to ask for«the one with the egg and turkey, not the one with the salami and pepperoncini.» But for the last year or more, the chef salad has consistently been the chef salad without the need to specify ingredients when ordering… so perhaps the cobb salad is now the cobb salad. Not sure. Anyhow! Their stuffed grape leaves are very good, and the gyro, chicken souvlaki, and turkey club sandwiches are all decent. Pizza is rather bland as I recall(but I haven’t had it in years, so it may be different now), and the reuben was disappointing. The fries are jumbo steak fries and are excellent when dipped in the homemade buttermilk ranch instead of ketchup ;) They have some interesting sounding Turkish-inspired sandwiches and wraps on their menu which I always say I’ll try next time but then never do… it’s like, I want to say«Istanbul wrap» … but before I know it I’ve blurted out«Chef Salad with Ranch and a Pita»…

Oh, Pizza Amore, I wanted to like you, but alas, I do not. I’ve both eaten at the restaurant and ordered food to be delivered. When I ate at the restaurant, I dined in with a friend. We both had wraps(the Italian and Sante Fe), which came with steak fries. The wraps were good and the fries were okay; to be fair, I’m not a huge fan of steak fries in the first place, thinking that they’re too pasty. The service, on the other hand, was terrible. There are only a few tables, and the person taking our order pretty much just stood there staring at us, rather than asking what we’d like to have. My delivery experience was even worse. I ordered food to be delivered to my place of work(about a five minute walk from the restaurant) so that a friend and I could eat before a meeting. I called early — about 11:15 a.m. — and ordered a small, two-topping pizza. I was told it would arrive in half an hour. After an hour had gone by, I still had no pizza. When I called to complain I was told that the driver would be leaving shortly. Seriously? I ordered a single pizza at the beginning of the day(long before a lunch rush), it needed to be delivered literally around the corner, and it was going to take more than an hour?! When the pizza finally arrived, it was room-temperature, dry, and pretty much tasteless. The dough was bland, sauce was unremarkable, and even the toppings(bacon and pineapple) had virtually no taste at all. Save your money and grab some food elsewhere — you’ll be glad you did.

Tonight was my second order from Pizza Amore. Generally, I like to wait until I’ve visited a place a couple of times before I write a review. This time, it’s to the detriment of the restaurant. While the food the first time we ordered was above average for the type of fare we ordered, I’ll never know how the food is again because we didn’t get our order delivered. Pizza Amore says they deliver to Easthampton. We told them we were in Easthampton and the first time we ordered, this wasn’t a problem. However, this time someone apparently didn’t tell the driver Easthampton. More than an hour went by and we wondered where our food was. We called Pizza Amore back and they said they would have the driver contact us. Still nothing. Finally we called them back again and they told us of the mistake. However, this was our option: Have the food delivered(now an hour and half after the order) and get a coupon for free onion rings on our NEXT order, or get no food. That was it. The food we ordered(pitas and onion rings) would be horrible an hour after they were cooked and they made no offer to make us new food and deliver it properly. The people at Pizza Amore including whom we assume was the manager was rude, unhelpful, and quite frankly a jerk. With so many other fine establishments in Northampton, I STRONGLY recommend you do not do business with these people where apparently their mistakes are the customer’s fault. (edited for typos)

Got the late night hungers at my hotel and this place was listed in the local eating list they gave me upon check in. I got a cheese pizza delivered. Fast delivery and the pie was tasty al;though a tad dry. It didn’t have a lot of tomato sauce, but truthfully that’s better for me so i don’t get heartburn. The crust was great too, like one reviewer said– kinda thin and chewy.

Really excellent pizza with the best, thin, chewy, flavorful crust! We ordered a small(8 pieces, easily big enough for 2 people or maybe 3), with fresh ricotta and black olives, and were filled after 6 pieces(we ate more because it was so darned good). It was $ 10. Though there’s not much room(just a few tables) to eat in, I’d highly recommend Pizza Amore for take-out. It’s open till 11, which makes it the perfect stop after a night on the town. ;) They also offer delivery. They have a big list of grinders(subs), pizzas, and other Italian fare. And, as mentioned, Pizza Amore has great pizza with friendly service!
