I normally don’t like fast food sub shops(I prefer sandwiches on homemade bread) but I was nearby this D’Angelo and wanted a lobster salad. All was good until halfway through I bit into 2 large pieces of lobster shell. Ouch!!! Thankfully, I did not break a tooth but staff were pretty unconcerned about shells being in the food. The food was good but service lacking.

Best customer service I’ve ever had at a fast-food joint. Workers were friendly and personable(which is not something you expect of a sandwich shop), even when they’re working hard and busy. The food is delicious and the restaurant is clean and comfortable. I came here for dinner when I was too sick to cook and the friendly staff and prompt service really brightened my day. Love it. OH-and they DELIVER! What!

Great service, great sandwiches(I got the Vermonter). It’s a disservice to compare them to Subway, because it’s SO much better!

Same fare as Subway, but better. Good stop for lunch.

They have a great staff that busts its collective ass because the store does tend to get busy. I’ve even gone here in the weird 2:30 — 3:00 timeframe and had a few people in front of me before, but the line always moves quickly. If youre unfamiliar with D’Angelos subs themselves, I would put them a few notches ahead of Subway for around the same price. My personal favorite is the vermont cheddar, chicken, bacon sandwich, but I’ve ordered the pastrami reuben, number 9, thanksgiving subs as well on different occasions and you really cant go wrong. The restaurant overlooks Damon and King streets so there isn’t much to see in terms of scenery, but the interior is clean and well maintained. All things considered, I would put these guys right up there with Serio’s as favorite sub spot in Northampton.

#9 I love you. One of the best parts about moving to the area was that now I have been reunited with my long lost D’Angelos!

After seeing several D’Angelo Sandwich Shops in the area, we decided to try one! I’m glad we did. I got a Turkey sandwich and it’s made with non-processed looking, fresh turkey breast on wheat bread roll(you have your choice of white). It was slightly crunchy on the outside and stuffed with turkey, lettuce, tomatoes, oil and vinegar. They have other choices of fillings, but that’s all I wanted. It was an excellent quick, healthy sandwich! It was approximately $ 6.50 for a medium sandwich. I’d definitely eat at D’Angelo’s again! Xie Xie!
