Great BBQ. Love the atmosphere, and the service is great. Never disappointed.

We came here after work and it was excellent service and food. Tried the 5 meat treat and every bit of it was good.

Super service. Very comfortable dining experience. Menu varied enough to suit tastes of all in. our party, especially the grandkids who loved the oreos with their meal!

Great service! Carolyn in the bar is our go to waitress. She knows our order by heart and is always quick with service. This location is never busy at lunch, we are in and out in less than 45 minutes typically. Highly recommend.

The food is always so excellent here, but be sure to try the dry rub ribs and onion rings! Happy hour is great too.

First time eating at this location. The staff was pleasant and helpful when I asked questions about a certain menu item. I had the fried okra and pulled chicken sandwich. I have no complaints about either. I will be back in the future

Ordered chopped beef sammich and tea got a shot of whiskey and a skinned baked potato with okra on top. Now I’m a ninja, a warrior of the night, so i was hungry and did what i had to do. My only complaint is that I was too drunk and not full enough to defeat the Battle of the raccoons I had previously had engagements with. After being laughed at by the raccoons who has previously beaten me because of the lack of protein I might not return back but then again I might I don’t know if I do I will just order a side of bacon bits and Dr Pepper I don’t want to get too full because I have another battle next week it’s the striped penguins wearing playdough mats horrible out here in these streets

Lunch while out Christmas shopping. LOVE their warm potato salad! Pulled chicken sandwich with coleslaw! Yum! Service was very attentive! Birthday discount made it all worthwhile!

I had a great experience with my family yesterday evening (November 3^rd). Excellent food and service! Loved the sausage sandwich!

This place seems to be a double edged sword. The food is almost ALWAYS delicious. It’s the service I seem to have an issue with. The last 2 times I was here we had servers who had given us only one drink refill. To be fair though, the glasses are actually pitchers, but that is beside the point. After he had given us our food, he wasn’t back to check on us until we paid the bill. I work in a restaurant, and I know bad service when I see it. He could have been having an off day, but we only saw him 3 times through the entire meal. Not happy with the service, could be better.

my mom took my girlfriend, my brother and myself here last weekend and it was great! the manager (i can’t remember his name) was very friendly and easy going, the food came out fast and it all tasted really good. i got fish and shrimp which were both great and really fresh. my girlfriend got wings and fried pickles. both were good but i wasn’t expecting the wings to be as great as they were. easily some of the best wings i’ve ever had at a place that isn’t exclusively a wings restaurant.
can’t wait to go again!

Got the ribs and catfish surf and turf, and it was definitely two meals worth, although I wanted to eat it all now! The catfish was so sweet and juicy, and came out HOT and fresh. Will definitely be back, and they thanked us for our Unilocal check-​in with 25% off our ticket. Can’t beat that!

In my first review, I explained how we had some initially bad service, but that our server, Franki, saved the day. The owner read my review and reached out to me and explained that that type of service is not consistent with the way they’re trained and asked if we would give them another try — which we did.
Food is the same. It’s good and the portion sizes are good. Service was way better and our old server, Franki, somehow remembered us and came and talked to us. She said my review was definitely brought up at their meeting, and the place was pretty packed, but seemed to be flowing nicely.
It’s nice to know that there are still places like Red, Hot, & Blue that care about their customer’s experiences instead of just letting bad reviews fill their Unilocal page. It definitely makes a difference to me and we will continue to patronize a nice establishment like this whenever we’re in that part of town.

Great Food great service great food. Love the RHB Potato Salad. The Sausage on the bun was out of this world. Food was top quality and served hot even though the kitchen was extremely busy.

Great atmosphere. Pulled pork and sausage get top marks! Good sized iced tea glasses.

I’m struggling to write this because the reason for our visit dates back to our experience with one of the first franchises in Jackson, MS. Of course, 15 years makes a difference, but you’d think to the better…
Fried pickle appetizer was served promptly and with their signature sauce no one can touch. Great taste until the last ¹⁄₅ of the basket which was so heavily soaked in grease that had settled to the bottom of the bowl you could not eat.
Main meal I’ll have to dissect: green beans & mac & cheese by husband’s standards were average, and he didn’t care for the sausage on his Eastern TN platter but loved the brisket and liked the dry rub ribs.
Loved my okra (tasted fresh battered), turnip greens good (think they were canned or frozen, but that’s fine), wet ribs…***SIGH*** a bust. Fat and tendons/​grizzle had to be spit out (I HATE doing this) and the remaining meat was blah. We took my leftovers home in the hope of dissecting them into a flavoring agent for another dish or maybe saucing up for a sandwich?
«Service by Frankie» is probably the strongest reason we will return to see if there are other things on the menu still as appetizing as we both remember them.

My best friend and I got food poisoning here.
Not like, «oh my, my stomach is a little gurgly.»
Oh, no. I am talking level 9999 Bridesmaids level food poisoning where we were profusely sweating and screaming at each other as we fought to get to toilets to exorcize the pulled pork demons inside of us.
I puked on my carpet and my cat watched.
Perhaps your experience will be different, but I will never go back to this place ever again. Take your loved ones if you want to bond into a new level of comfort and separate the friends from the BEST friends.

Ok, so for our second trick… WOW! I was so impressed with RH&B our second time in. To update where I last left off, I posted my first review giving this place 3 stars when I felt it had the potential for more.
Mark, the business owner contacted me through Unilocal to ask me to clarify about a few side dishes (okra and green beans) that had brought my rating down and genuinely wanted to know suggestions for how to improve them. I always respect a business that is striving to make improvement so I appreciated his invitation to provide feedback and come dine again.
This time we knew we had really liked the ribs last time so we ordered that and the catfish I had wanted to try. This time; Ribs-​5, Catfish-​5, Fries-​5, Okra-​4 (a noticeable improvement from last time). They were out of corn which we had both ordered, but the fresh vegetables we ordered as an alternative were a very solid 4. Even our server Alex was one of the most pleasant and attentive servers I have ever had. Really everything we had this time was amazing! The most tender ribs that literally fell off every bone, and the most delicious fried catfish I have ever had! On top of that, we tried the fries for the first time and they may be one of the top 2 fries I have ever had.
This was a real treat to eat here again and we know that they have some of our favorite versions of dishes that we will never need to go anywhere else for. Bravo RH&B and I am looking forward to our next time back! :-)

Seems to be a fave at the office and pretty good for a chain, but it isn’t somewhere I“d go out of my way to eat at. I may be judging to harsh since I’ve only tried it once for lunch. I had the brisket (tender for a chain), slaw (avg) and collard greens (rocked!) for lunch. Pretty tasty but doesn’t hold up to the privately owned places I love to meat coma at when craving BBQ.
Our waitress was great and food came out hot and fast for a group of nine. Even special requests were delivered error free.
Based on other reviews, I will give it a happy hour stop. The atmosphere, music mix and décor would make for a nice eve.
