I am 40 years old and went to purchase a bottle of wine here. I have a temporary license because I just moved and they would not accept that or my numerous Bar identification cards, including a RI State Issued Court ID, so I was unable to make a purchase. You will no longer be getting my business.

I think this place deserves another star after having a really good experience with their customer service.
My boyfriend bought some nice margarita salt for me, but once we brought it home and opened it we realized it was expired and pretty gross. He brought it back to the store, and the manager really went out of his way to remedy the situation even though we couldn’t return the opened product.
A different brand of salt and a six pack in exchange for the faulty product? Awesome job dudes!

Why review a wine store? Here’s why.
The selection is great, like really great. They also have about 5 – 11 people working at all times who are usually pretty helpful.
The downside: Once I got there a few minutes before closing and they were SO angry. I understand not wanting to let a customer into a clothing store or somewhere that they’re going to be browsing around forever, but I just wanted to grab a bottle of wine and go. The employees were all shooting dirty looks and yelling about it being closing time. I even apologized and the guy cashing me out said with a matter-​of-​fact attitude, «we get fined $ 3,000 if we continue selling past closing’…really? I clearly didn’t know that, didn’t intend to cause this store such an issue and would NEVER dream of reprimanding a customer like that if I was in the same shoes. If the store wasn’t so convenient, this experience would have been a deal-​breaker for me.

I’m not a big drinker. I do enjoy Guinness from time to time. When it’s that time I come here. I’m OCD about cleanliness and organization. This place put my mind at ease. Everything is properly labeled so a individual like me can get in and out.
Don’t miss the event tonight: Beer Seminar featuring summer beers. It starts at 6:30 pm.

This is a really good store in North Providence. I recently was there for a tasting and I could not have been more happy with were I was that day.
First off, the store is so clean and organized. I hate going into stores and seeing dusty bottles. This place cares about there product. The store is laid out well and it is easy to scan the facility to find out where your desired product is located in the store.
The staff is super nice and helpful. They frequently greeted people in the store. Eric was very helpful to me because he was so nice and knowledgeable about everything.
They do have events so keep up with them on their web page. Their next event is on July 23rd. It is a Beer Seminar featuring summer beers. It starts at 6:30 pm.
