I just moved into the area a few weeks ago and this happens to be the closest liquor store to my apartment. My expectations were pretty low but all I needed was a bottle of dry white to cook with so I figured they had to have something. I was wrong. They have A LOT of things. I was pretty surprised to see such a good selection and wide variety all at decent prices.
Also, the staff was super friendly. I don’t know why this gets me, but when I was checking out at the register the cashier checked my ID and then used my name for the rest of the transaction (thanks and have a great night Emily!). I know, I know, simple pleasures. But it was a nice touch that you don’t see everywhere.
Anyhow, I will 100% be returning here for more wine.

Delta’s beer selection isn’t the best, but you can always find something that’s reasonably priced. Delta runs specials frequently and has consistently great prices on wines, including Gnarly Head. The staff members are always friendly and helpful.

I’m going to call this the closest liquor store to my apartment, technically I live near Nocera’s and Rock’s, but they are horrid.
Douglas has a bit of both worlds, cheap beers, wines, and that ever important inexpensive handle for making punches or liquoring up a crowd.
This place hits the spot when I want to pick out wine, they always have someone on the floor and they also don’t make fun of me when I buy a $ 7 bottle of «champagne» or miller high life when the week before I was buying a mix-​six and Maker’s. The staff is friendly and they get to recognize your face so you don’t always have to fumble with your license.
Just a note their debit machine seems to be indefinitely broken, so they’ll run it through as credit.

I mean… how can you give a liquor store a negative review… its full of liquor. With that being said, Delta is one of my go to joints in NP. They have a great beer and wine selection, and do mix a six on bottles, which is awesome for checking out new beers and seasonal’s without committing to the whole sixpack. They also have a very good selection of all your go to hard stuff… although they do not have Bullit Bourbon, which is why they lost the 5th star. As far as prices, I think they are very competitive for the area and often run sales, which they post out under their sign. And if they don’t have something your looking for, talk to the girls at the counter and they can order it for you in about a week.
