After visiting a variety of 3D archery courses Campbell’s 3D Archery is hands down my favorite place to practice. I had heard about this course from some members of my family and decided to check it out. I live out in the area and was seeking a local spot that had easy access and relaxing environment. Campbell’s course met and exceeded my expectations for a 3D archery course. The first time I visited I did the full course and practiced my range shots as well. There was only a few other folks up there that day but all the other hunters were very courteous and respectful of each other which was a breath of fresh air. The second time I visited I had the pleasure of meeting Rick(owner of the course). He is fantastic and answered all my questions. I could tell he was very knowledgeable about hunting and well versed in different techniques of the sport. I will continue to go back to this course on a regular basis as it is an environment that suits my needs whether I feel like hiking and doing a more difficult hunt or relaxing while practicing on the range. Campbells gets 5 stars all day!

This course is just plain awesome. The warm up range is not marked but instead just a bunch of 3D targets placed at random yardage. They also maintains a side range that goes all the way out to 90 yards in case you need to sight in. The course is very different from Bushmens, Kutch, Sylvans, and Chinook in the respect that it’s mostly up and down shooting with maybe 5 or so targets placed on flat ground. There’s one target that’s pretty much straight up in the air, maybe at a 70* angle… which was the greatest thing ever. The owners maintain the course very well, in fact the group I was shooting with had the pleasure of enjoying some ice cold water out of a water cooler half way through the course. On some days they even have a snack bar open. Out of the 3 hours we were there, we were the only ones using the course 3 days before the season opener so I don’t think a lot of people know about it. It’s only $ 10 a person and it’s well worth it, especially if you want to improve your uphill/downhill shooting. Go check it out, you’ll be very impressed, especially if you’re a Chinook member. It closes sept 30th all the way until April-ish, and it’s well worth the $ 10.
