we joined a windmill tour and it stopped by the store before heading back to the starting point. the date shake is really delicious. even better than the one in Shield’s date garden.

On our way home we stopped here for tacos and a date shake.
Almost missed it, it’s so teeny tiny compared to the date farms that sell date shakes.
We had gone to Oasis Date Gardens yesterday and honestly both date shakes taste similar. I think they all say they have the best one.
We enjoyed the tacos, beef, ground hamburger and chicken. They reminded me of the ones my neighbor from Mexico made for us when we were kids. So authentic.
I also bought a pound of dates a local was buying, as she said she came in every week to buy them. They were okay. The medjools are the best.
Then we drove 8 hours to get home, with a nice stop in Lancaster to see all the golden poppies!
