I visit Desert Hot Springs quite infrequently but discovered this place several visits ago and it’s now a MUST as part of my DHS visit. The variety of produce (especially citrus) is amazing and the prices (from my LA perspective) are almost unbelievably low. As others mentioned, the people at the register are super friendly and helpful. In addition to the citrus and avocados, I highly recommend getting some delicious medjool dates!

I enjoy the freshness, variety and atmosphere. Reminds me of produce stores in Mazatlan, Mexico. The lady at the register is friendly. A local favorite of mine. You might want to stop here before anywhere else.

Love this place! They have REAL fruits and veg, not the mass harvested junk from the supermarkets… everything just tastes better and it’s always nice to shop small

Organic raisins and dates locally grown in the Coachella Valley. Yummy!!! The raisins taste like candy snd yet they are so much healthier. They are a little harder than dried sulfur raisins, and I love the chew factor. The organic raisins were about $ 3 a pound and the organic dates are $ 5 a pound. I stop when ever I’m in the area, available October thru May.

Great farmers market option! Quick in and out as no supermarket lines. They usually have some awesome deals on produce at or a little beyond prime such as 10 bell peppers for a dollar. Those change based on availabilty, but their regular prices are still great as well.

So, I was in search of fresh hot peppers other than jalapeños and habaneros. This is a small produce store on Pierson. The selection is not huge, but the prices are pretty good. Unfortunately, I didn’t find what I was looking for and the employee working either didn’t speak English or just wasn’t in a talkative mood: when I asked her a question she just looked at me and then continued mopping the floor!
