Denny’s

Back a couple of more times since last review.
No noticeable improvement.
Servers still moving at ¹⁄₃ pace.
Ordered red, white and blue breakfast
2 blueberry pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream topping.
Pretty good.
Scrambled eggs (over cooked and brown from
too long on grill), hash brown potatoes and 2 strips of bacon.
$ 7.69.
Coffee $ 2.09.
I saw a plate of 2 pancakes fall off the kitchen shelf
onto the counter below .
Instead of being thrown out immediately,
a server just re plated them and put them back
on the top shelf to be picked up and served to a customer.
When another server picked them up to deliver,
I mentioned to her what I saw and she ordered 2 more.
Hard to believe a server would do such a thing,
but you never know what you are getting in any restaurant.
I doubt I will be back.

The Denny’s at this location has been the only Denny’s I have ever been too. I have come to this Denny’s several times already and all those times it has been during breakfast. All of my experiences so far have been good and the waiters/​waitresses have been providing good service. I never really had to wait too long for the food to arrive and when the food comes, I always enjoyed it but there is so much food that I never really end up finishing it. Overall, I will still come to this Denny’s for breakfast since I have yet to experience any problems.

This review is 2 fold:
Went here for the first time for breakfast on Monday morning, decent food, excellent service… yay to Nancy! She was great.
So, we came again for breakfast the next morning… hmmmmm
the service was HORRIBLE. Our server talked an entire 15 minutes with the patrons in a booth near ours before even acknowledging us. Once she finally did come over to us, I asked for a cup of tea, which came about 10 mins later… with NO spoon. There was also no sugar at our table and that lil tray that contained one sugar packer was filthy (see photo) Sigh. There was also another server who wore a side sweep hair do… NO hair net. She was carrying food and the same side as her hair (see photo).
All of that sullied the experience for both of us, so we plan to never visit that location again.

Very slow forgot half my order very rude and not that grate food was greasy pancakes were not done all the way I ask for my ticket to pay and they were rude and said wen I get to u I’ll get to you so I wouldn’t come here ever again

This is a good place for a fast, cheap, and decent breakfast food. We usually go here if we are in a rush on the way in to work. Where else can u get food for 2 for $ 20. Since Denny’s is open ²⁴⁄₇ it’s also a good choice after a night out. The pancakes are always a good choice and you can’t go wrong with a burger and fries.

When I’m in the mood, breakfast food is always good for dinner meals. Denny’s my go to source of this mood. For the Grand Slam Slugger, with eggs, your style, meat, your preference, 2-​pancakes, hash brown, coffee and juice for a whopping price of $ 8 BUCKS! Really? Who does that? Denny’s! That’s Who!
Service is great too at this location. I’ve been coming for years. There is one waitress there, who’s been there since my boys were little. She’s still there. And still serving up great service with a smile.

Worst service. The person there just seemed to hate that I came in to eat. Whoops, my apologies.

The only reason I went out of my way to write a review about a Dennys is to warn others about it. This is the poorest representation of a Dennys you will ever come across. It is DISGUSTING. The menu’s were greasy, it was hot, all the tables were dirty the employees were all yelling to one another about non work related things, I sat there for 15 minutes waiting to order. I felt gross just sitting there. I felt my skin tightening and I thought I was gonna get sick. I waited 30 minutes after ordering and my food was still not ready. There is no excuse for that specially that there were only 3 other tables there. I didn’t even wait for the food to arrive. I cant even imagine what the quality of the food was going to be like. Please do not come go to the Dennys on 27^th ave & 199 way better than this.

Worse service ever!!! Very poor service I would never go back to this location

My hubby and I were here because it was past the time for most restaurants and I didn’t want to eat McDonald’s or Subway again. I don’t like to eat the same thing, but unfortunately sometimes I have to (especially when our stove is now broken). but this one day I chose for a bit change. I don’t come here to explore new things to eat. I come here because it’s open, close to where I live, and it doesn’t have to be a burger or big sandwich to order. I go for the breakfast slam. They added new better-​for-​you items, like turkey bacon and whole wheat pancake. I got my sunny side up eggs along with the those couple of turkey bacon, wheat bread (just one slice, not too much of it!!) and yogurt (which was too sweet after trying a scoop). Our waitress was courteous and attentive surprisingly at this hour. She let me change the yogurt to some fries. I think it was my 2^nd meal for the whole day. I also like the fact that they have coupons in the paper, which was another reason we went. lol

I am not a fan of Denny’s. I have had many bad dining experiences at numerous Denny’s. However, I will say that my local one is not that bad.
They have a friendly, attentive wait staff. This is totally unlike all the Denny’s I’ve been to. I’m used to bitter, angry Denny’s employees.
My wife is however a big Denny’s fan. Can’t say why, but when I ask her where she wants to go, she will often suggest it. While I still don’t like to go, being that it reminds me of a history of aggravation, I will normally say okay. As well, the fact that they are open all night is a big plus.

Okay so it was a little Thug life when I got in there, but what do you expect from Denny’s at 3AM. The place had a bunch of open tables but the lazy shell of a waitress stuck us between the Meth heads and the Mexicans.
For what it’s worth, I like Denny’s. Normally the food is pretty solid. But this time the sausage links were not cooked well, the eggs were overcooked, and the fries were decent at best. They changed their menu and added some new things.
Come 4AM. I always come back to those who weened me as a teen. Den Den

Plerughach, bleurgh… I used to live down the street from this Dennys and for us they were the quintesenntial place to go to on a Sunday for a great great fill you up for the day ahead breakfast. We moved over a year ago and this weekend being too lazy to get up and walk across the street to the store for bacon I said «HEY, LETS ALL GO TO DENNY’S «to which the kids of course responded YAYYY *Translation…maybe soda and crap for breakfast [they weren’t disappointed]*. So we get there at about 11:30 a.m. (brunch really… we all had cereal earlier)…Coffee was as usual, juice was that watered down crap as usual. Kids ordered pizza. I had my Dennys staple that I just crave sometimes… southern fried chicken with gravy and biscuits (I haven’t been able to tackle southern fried chicken — I’m an Irish gal. I haven’t reached that level of Southern cooking yet), had it with hash browns, scrambled eggs and a toasted muffin with butter (I’m not this slim without trying!!!). The other half of me had a grand slam but nothing came the way he wanted. I don’t know if it was miscommunication with the server but hey, nothing seemed to flow this visit. My chicken fried steak was dry, the eggs, hash browns and muffin were OK. But the ickiest thing was the cheese pizza for the kids — I wouldn’t even take it home for the dog it was so darned awful looking. It could have been called the Lindsay Lohan…“pale and uninteresting» OK its Denny’s and the check was way cheaper than it would have cost me to fix all at home myself and it gave us some ultra valuable family time sitting looking at each other actually having to make conversation but Denny’s used to be a lot more family friendy and a lot more tastier no less than two years ago… Que Pasa Miami?
