For a vegetarian lunch, I chose the following: mujadara, fried cauliflower, cannellini beans, stewed okra, and stewed eggplant. They don’t skimp on the olive oil. I got a to-go container of food for $ 10 that was hearty and healthy. Everything was seasoned well without overpowering the natural goodness of the veggies. A gentleman who I presume to be the owner greeted me and asked if I had any questions. He was an absolute sweetheart.

Nice food, excellent service!!! Sam, the owner, always there happily serving whoever gets in! Ask for the«consider» Miami’s best hummus and babaghanouj! And it is delicious and freshly made! The khebe and grape leaves rolls are fantastic as well! As Lebanese food fan(and background) some spices I just can find in Jerusalem Market, such as Zhatar! Hope you have a good experience as I always have!

Best Middle Eastern food in Dade and Broward Counties! I have been to several others trying to find this sooooo good homemade type of food. I could only find it here!!! Plus, the service is excellent and fast!!! I came with three kids, and the owner was very nice and accommodating. The kids LOVED the food and ate everything!!! I will definitely go back very soon!

I’m Israeli, and this is probably the best Middle Eastern food I’ve had in the USA. The okra has the perfect texture and a delicate flavor. The tabouli is balanced with just the right amount of parsley and lemon. The hummus is excellent and has the texture that it should. The falafel is perfectly done, not oily, with the subtle flavor it is supposed to have. The grape leaves are freshly made and delicious. This deli is a family run operation and can run circles around most Middle Eastern restaurants at any price. Reasonably prices and good sized portions. It’s a total find.

Been coming here since 1997. Never had a bad meal yet. Today I had a delicious lamb kabob with baba ghanoush, hummus and salad. Always fresh. Plus they have Turkish antep pistachios. Sooo good.

I have had kafta kabob sandwiches on three continents. Sometimes the meat is too dry. Sometimes the bread is old. Often, little thought is put into the garnishments. Here, it was perfect. Fresh tasting pita; juicy, flavorful meat; perfect array of veggies and sauce that made the sandwhich. I ordered mine spicy. Everything else on display looked great, but if you like rolls of spiced meat, it is hard to do it better.

I can’t believe I did not know about this place before. It was there for 15 years! The food is absolutely great, made fresh and there is a great variety of it. We had falafel platter, chicken kabob platter and shawerma platter — each with different two sides. I absolutely loved it and will definitely be a regular customer there!

This is a small family run grocery store & deli that is in a strip mall in North Miami Beach. We have visited it previously but never eaten there. Today my daughters & I had lunch at Jerusalem Market & Deli. The food was delicious. I had a Shawerma sandwich, my daughters each had a Lamb Kafta sandwich. We shared sides of Baba Ghanouj and Tabouli. The food was delicious and the patron was very polite. Nothing fancy, just delicious, homemade, healthy food that was well prepared. We didn’t have to wait long. It has a counter that you place your order at and pickup up your food when it’s ready. There are about 6 tables. There isn’t service per se, other than the placing of the order according to any special requests one may have. I’ve given it 4 stars as everything was good except it doesn’t have any ambiance. It’s a grocery store for crying out loud! I would return there in a heart beat.

I’m not sure if this place is actually in Aventura or not(I think it’s NMB) and I’m not convinced that it is Israeli food as much as Lebanese-ish, but putting these issues aside, I thought the food was generally tasty, the prices were good, and the service was accommodating. The pitas are great and you can buy them in packages big or small. Good hummus. I thought the labne was really delicious. Definitely above average. Also, I got a fairly hefty amount of food, and it was only $ 16. Can’t beat that. It’s not quite as good as some of its counterparts in the area, but certainly good enough to get a return visit from me at some point…

Real middle eastern food in a nondescript strip mall on biscayne. Cheap and delicious and they have a whole store full of great stuff to buy.

Had a falafel sandwich/wrap it was well priced(about $ 6) and grape leaves($ 2). The falafel sandwich had all the fixins you come to expect: tabouleh, cucumber/tomato salad, cabbage, hummus, tahini and add bonus baba ganoush. I thoroughly enjoyed both and most definitely will be coming back.

My favorite middle Eastern place in north dade. Everything you try is really good, prices are OK and the service(from the counter) is friendly and makes you feel like at home. If you don’t care going to the counter countless times to pick up your order and love middle Eastern, this is THE place to try. Love it!

Nice little market /restaurant with authentic Lebanese food. My favorite is the plate with Hummus, chicken kebabs, rice & lentils and Israeli salad. Start this with some meat grape leave with lime, kibbes and plenty of hummus. Finish everything off with a great baklava.

can’t make up my mind whether the owner is as friendly as much as the food he makes is absolutely delicious. Don’t expect this to taste like the latinized arabic food you get SW. The owner was very personable and will introduce his family which was sitting in a table far off to the right. Very sweet people. lets start with the chicken since it seemed to be the special. They’re not boring breasts, they’re perfectly seasoned chicken thighs you tear apart and sop in the juices they’ve cooked in. Worth a try. — mujadara smells nice but i guess they don’t serve little onions ontop. delicious –shawarma is beyond fresh tasting and you see him carve it. the salads were delicious, the vegetables were so fresh and actually looked alive, how nice. i asked for some Toum which he didn’t have out to serve on dishes, he was very excited to hear the feedback on how his is superb. He’ll totally sell you a tub full of and you wouldn’t mind leaving with garlic breath because it is fabulous. very good. I’d love to see this near my area.
