I’d say I’m a regular… in ordering food to go. Always get the lamb sliders! Slight dive bar vibe and the bartender is awesome. I believe he owns the place, but if not then I’ll be stealing him to run my bar in the future.

Now I never really do this kinda thing. I usually use Unilocal as a way to find a place to eat and try something new. Or I look for the nearest place to buy a car part. But tonight I decided to post a review. Before I got on I must say I love Reno’s, always have. For a dive style bar the food is amazing. But for this review I’m going to talk about one thing. And that my friends is the Reuben. I’ve traveled the country in search of the perfect Reuben. One of if not the best sandwiches out there. A true classic. Savory meats, sour kraut, marble rye bread, and of course the sauce to put it all together thousand island dressing. A simple beauty. Something that’s quick and easy to scrounge up. But the problem is a lot of places take the name«the Reuben» and put it on their menus, and you get a sub par attempt on something that in my opinion should give your taste buds an experience. An event all the way to the last bite. One that makes you wish you ordered two. And of all the Reuben I have tried. Throughout all corners of this country I’ve found this one. I have been to this place and never had one. All because so many places have let me down. But not tonight. Tonight I have found what I think and what my taste bud could agree is the perfect Reuben. If I was to find one more tasty with perfectly flavorful corned beef and every aspect of the sandwich I received tonight, I’d have to hit my snooze alarm because I’d want to get back into the dream I was just having. Come and try the Reuben. If not they have other great and equally tasty things. A true gem in the little rock area. Try it. I guarantee you’d like it.

I was last here about 2 years ago, but decided to take my fiancée last night after having some brews at Blue Canoe and then walking across the river to see the Travs, but before the game we came here and we both loved our food. They had at least 10 beers on tap, some local and we enjoyed our beer. I had remembered that they had good sandwiches, and that is the main reason we came, and we weren’t disappointed. She got just a regular grilled chicken sandwich, which somewhat surprised me, but I took a bite and it seemed like a well cooked breast that wasn’t dry and very tasty on a good bun. I got the Cuban and it was amazing, thick cuts of ham with pickle and mustard and cheese, and then grilled. It might not be perfect in that they don’t cure their own ham and make pickles, but still, it was delicious and both were only about 8 $, so it was a great deal. Wait, they also had sides included! She got the pesto pasta salad, which was the the only negative of the meal, it wasn’t bad, but just seemed a little bland compared to everything else. I got the potato salad which was amazing, kinda mayo with bacon and similar to the whole hog café type, which I’ve heard comes from a tub, but I don’t really care, because its good. Anyway, we split the sides and when the pasta was mixed with potato salad it was a great combo. There were also homemade chips as an option, but I couldn’t comment on those as we didn’t eat them. The place was more of a bar, and yes, there were people smoking, but it was great service, quick and nice, great beer selection, great food and at wonderful prices. Seems like a great little secret for people wanting a good quick bite before Verizon events or Travs games, or any other time. We will be going back.

So. We heeded the advice of others and called in an order since we don’t like smoke. Great move because even the take out bag smelled like smoke. But the food! I ordered the Reuben with homemade chips. It wasn’t greasy at all. It was great. My husband ordered the fish tacos with potato salad. His fish tacos were 3.5÷5BUT we did order them from a bar in north little rock so it’s ok. The potato salad was really good! Think Whole Hog Café. We will definitely order take out from there again, the staff seemed really fun and were great. Our food was ready when we went to pick it up. And it was nicely priced. It’s just a shame we will never be able to eat in. Try it.

Great service, great beer selections and great food. Local beer is on tap as well as awesome national brands. Seriously, really good food. I don’t know what else to say. That covers it all. I love Renos. It is the last bastion of smoking bars so if that bothers you, don’t stay. But seriously, order the food. Anything.

I go to Reno’s at least one a week. It’s easily my favorite place in Argenta. And my favorite bartenders anywhere. They have a really good draft beer selection and get new things regularly. Most of the food is really good and everything is affordable and portioned accordingly. My favorite menu items are the hot wings, lamb slider, Greek salad, cheese dip and Ruben. You can’t go wrong with any of those things.

We stopped by Reno’s before the James Taylor concert. As you can guess they were busy. The cheese fries were recommended by some frequent patrons of Reno’s and they were just as good as they said. My friend had the Ruben which she couldn’t quit bragging about. The Club was also great!

The lamb sliders were great. Loved the home made potato chips. If you don’t smoke, go in the off-hours, but be prepared for a smoky atmosphere.

I love the Po’ Boys here! The Remoulade sauce is outstanding. Service is spotty, but I don’t really care. Everything everyone else has ordered has turned out well, too. I’m just partial and can’t stay away from the Tilapia Po’ Boy.

Love the food, the hummus plate is fantastic. Took one star away for how smoky it is. Casual with good bands

Great food, great service even on a busy night. Recently went with friends to a filmmakers gathering there. I had the house burger with bleu cheese and my travel partners had the portobello burger, the gyro and the humus platter-all very good!

This review is for take-out only so I can’t really review the service at this time but I imagine I will be back in the future to update! Hubby and I were picking something up on our way out of town(road tripping to New Orleans) and the Argenta Café is very close to where he was picking me up. We walked in and ordered from the bar– I ordered a chicken caesar wrap and he ordered a burger. Both were delish. The chicken caesar wrap came in a nice warm soft pita and both were served with homemade chips. Hubby loved his burger, he said it was juicy and cooked perfectly. I was a huge fan of the chips– felt like they needed more seasoning or SOMETHING but I appreciated the effort of a homemade chip. Look forward to going back and trying more– they have a good looking menu and a very interesting little restaurant!

I love this place! I go as often as I can. I have yet to order something that I didn’t love. My favorite appetizer is the hummus platter. The house made hummus is creamy and drizzled with olive oil. It comes with warm pita bread wedges, kalamata olives, tomato slices, cucumber slices and a ton of feta cheese. Their gourmet pizzas are heavenly. I love the crispy thin crust. I usually opt for Gene’s Roasted Garlic pizza with spinach, mozzarella and feta cheese, of course, roasted garlic and tomatoes. The Pesto Lover’s pizza is delicious as well. It’s huge and I never can seem to finish the whole thing. Let’s see, I’ve also had the Cuban sandwich and it’s a perfect balance of spicy mustard, pickles, ham, pork tenderloin, and swiss. I’ve also had the Reuben sandwich and I think it’s the best in town. I need to try the burger. I’ve heard good things about it. My one complaint is that the place is pretty smoky up front. There is a non-smoking area in the back though.

After being turned down for food at two other locations because of the storms and power outages that night, we decided to throw a hail Mary and head across to the street to the only well lit sign in Argenta, Reno’s. None of the four of us had ever been, much less frequented any dining establishment in North Little Rock area. Upon entering, it seemed like dive in a large older building(which it is.) Most of the patrons were seemingly regulars, lined up at the bar not any different than any other night. It seems like it has room for a busy lunch crowd. We grabbed a tall 4 top table and asked if they were still serving food, which they were. We all ordered a round of drinks(Black Velvet, delicious) and proceeded to view the menus. My husband and friends were stoked that you could smoke inside, a drawback for some, but a major A+ for my fellow companions, and seeing as it was my husband’s birthday, a major hit. I went with the chicken cordon bleu sandwich, and my husband got the burger. Both delicious! Our friends were happy with their choices as well. We were all pleasantly surprised with the food quality, and the service was quick and amiable as well. I may not make it a point to come back and eat here, but I definitely will stop by again if I’m in the area, or suggest it to friends.

I debated whether to give Reno’s a 2 or 3 star rating. Due to the overall good service and good pricing, I bumped it up to a 3. See, the thing is, there was nothing special about my experience. The atmosphere was a typical smokey bar scene. My husband and I had purchased a gift certificate from , so we basically had to order a lot of food. We started with fountain drinks and an appetizer of fried pickles. They were, in my opinion, the best part of the meal. Served with a creamy ranch. I ordered a chicken gyro(homemade chips for the side), while my husband ordered a philly cheesesteak with pesto pasta salad. Both were okay… but just okay. Nothing memorable. We also ordered a chicken pizza to go(chicken, garlic, onions, tomatoes, and banana peppers). All of the ingredients were fresh, but overall pretty flavorless. The crust is also extremely thin, about the consistency of a tortilla. Overall, we had a good experience at Reno’s, and are happy we tried it. I just don’t think I tasted anything that will have me craving to go back… Sorry! But once again, we had great service, which is always a big plus in my book.
