La Petite Academy

I’ve worked at many preschools here in Las Vegas recently. I always heard this bad reputation of any and all La Petite schools. I want to tell you that reputation is so wrong.
So when it was time to put my little two year old I toured every preschool in town and found this location of La Petite. Even over my son being in his aunts classroom at another school I picked this location and let me tell you I’m SO happy my son is at this location. They have been so helpful and understanding and my son is so happy to go in the morning and he is happy playing when I pick him up late. His teacher; whether its the drop off or pick up teacher or his all day teacher or even a substitute… They are all so sweet and great with him. The biggest plus is that I’m actually seeing the work he does at school. I can see how calm a 2 year old class is and that in its self is incredible! They actually have the opportunity to be learning because the environment his teacher provides them is calm and soothing and happy (: They also have security with multiple locked doors at the school that parents have to have the codes to and I LOVE that this schools location is tucked away and hard to see from any main street. The facility is new, which is wonderful and always smells fresh and clean. Also, they offer this free app for parents to download on their smart phone and its wonderful. Instead of wondering about last diaper change or last meal or looking for the daily sheet, I can have it right there on my phone for easy access.
I highly recommend this school and plan on continuing with them so the foreseeable future. ((: thank you to all the staff who has helped me and my little TRex through these hard times. You all rock and are so appreciated!(:

This place has completely changed my perspective about daycare! All of the staff genuinely care about my little one and it’s obvious by everything that they do. I feel safe leaving my toddler with them and trust that they will take care of her just like i would. :)

Let me start by saying my son went here for over a year starting when he was 6 weeks old.
The infant teachers are great. They always took really good care of my son
The problem arose once my son was old enough to be placed in the toddler room.
There’s only 1 teacher for over 10 toddlers and my son was badly neglected each time he was in the toddler room (he only went 1 day a week). I bought the issue up with management each time and they blew me off. What happened with my son was not ok in any way, shape, or form and to be blown off after bringing the exact same issue to management over 3 times is completely unacceptable.

My child was at this center for a couple of months and our experience was overall unpleasant. I recommend you visit the facility and check for cleanliness first. We dealt with high turnover, poor communication from management and an unexperienced teacher left to lead a preschool class. I strongly suggest you evaluate other centers.

We recommend that you stay far far away from this place. The staff there as far as the manager goes are very unprofessional, they would charge you late fees and they would go ahead and lie about things that are unnecessary or unethical. To think you’re paying for your child to be ahead in life by them supposedly teaching them things when come to find out all they’re doing is playing with toys and doing puzzles? When «supposidly» there following a strick curriculum, popaaaaallleeaaasseee. If I wanted to do that if I wanted my kid to go ahead and learn nothing I would have just sent them to the Y. This place is definitely not worth a dime of your hard working money.
The assistant manager there as well I would definitely not feel safe with her watching my kid with the type of attitude that she has towards parents that work there. One of my biggest pet peeves is lying and this company will lie you out of your money until you have absolutely nothing. They do not care about your child’s well being all they care about is the money so do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.
