Ordered: — Almonilla(Almond + Vanilla) w/Boba — Green Tea Chocolatte(Matcha Smoothie + Chocolate Fudge) w/Boba — Florasia Arnie(Light Floral Tea + Lemonade) — Noddy Toddy(Cold Brew + Milk Tea) Very trendy/hipster interior and exterior. Really nice and large outdoor space to hangout — play some large versions of classic board games. As for the drinks themselves, they weren’t bad but I wasn’t a fan of any of them. Almonilla didn’t mix well, Florasia tasted like lightly flavored water, Noddy Toddy and Green Tea Chocolatte were whatevers. I’ve had plenty of boba in my life, and despite being freshly made, Tea Pop’s boba is average. Drinks are pricey… with toppings, it can run you over $ 5 per drink. Staff was friendly but they did kind of forget one of my drinks when a crowd started rolling in and the orders piled up. Overall, a forgettable drink experience but the shop itself is nice. I’d probably give it another shot…

I generally like the vibe of this place, and it’s a great late® spot if you want to get out of the house and get some work done. The baristas are super friendly and can make a good recommendation. I tried my friend’s Vietnamese drip coffee, which was great! My Chai was a little disappointing though. I’ve tried various Chai lattes at several different cafes, and I’ve had way better. Prices are what you would expect for a café in NoHo. There is street parking available behind.

Was on my way back driving back from LA to SB and had past k-town and all the amazing boba places before realizing I wanted boba, so this was my last option since I didn’t want to turn around. The place had 4 stars so I thought I’d try it out. First entering the place, seemed cute and Pinterest-y. But while waiting for our drinks, I used the restroom and wandered around outside. Like I said, it was a nicely decorated place, but everything from the surfaces to the mason jars out on the patio were not cleaned. I feel like the place probably looked really cool when it first opened, but they were definitely not maintaining cleanliness. I got there sea salt caramel milk tea(I think that’s what it was called)– it was pretty bland. I love me some good boba usually soaking in brown sugar, but the boba I got had NO flavor at all. I was so disappointed I almost asked for a refund since it would’ve been a while before I got to order good milk tea and boba again. But 3 stars for the effort

****five stars***** First, watch your step walking in the front door, there is about a six inch step up that is easy to miss. We had the sweet peach milk tea with boba and coconut cold brew coffee. Sweet Peach Milk Tea: *****Milk Tea***** ***Boba*** The tea was refreshing and sweet, but not overly so. The boba was not for me, since it was chewy. I realize some people like it that way. Coconut Cold Brew Coffee: ***** Five star experience. Coffee flavor was excellent. Low acidity and not bitter at all. Coconut was creamy and a nice complement. I skipped the simple syrup. *****Vibe***** Strong, both inside(sheik and clean) and outside(tranquil and modern). *****Service***** Friendly and knowledgable about the tea and coffee products. Five star shop for sure

I’ve passed this place so many times. Totally a hole in the wall café. Beautiful wood tables and awesome aesthetic and outside patio. There’s a nice airy quality about this place. Very peaceful. Loved the salted caramel milk tea with boba. Really nice flavor and awesome chewy boba! Really fast and nice service! Parings always a little difficult to find on this street. It’s worth the trip though.

TEAPOP is the cutest hipster boba shop I’ve ever seen. With murals on the side wall, floor to ceiling windows(natural lighting ftw), and a beautiful backyard patio, TEAPOP is the perfect place to get some work done or just catch up with friends. They serve everything from fresh brewed loose leaf teas to organic coffees to milk tea. Their Sweet Peach Black Milk Tea was fresh, light, and delicious. Add on toppings like boba, chia seeds, or lychee jelly for just 50 cents! One of the employees was sporting an SF Giants hat. In LA. Major props!

Such a cute place! My friend was part of a mom and kids art show here for Mother’s Day and I was excited to visit and check out the space. Lots of tables in the front indoor area, plus ample outdoor seating on the patio out back. On this particular day they had arts and crafts for sale which didn’t get in the way of the seating. Unfortunately their drinks weren’t great. I went for a classic milk tea which was watery and bland. The boba was inconsistent with some chewy and some tough. Not enjoyable to drink. I loved the concept and the allocation of space, but the drinks left something to be desired and tea is the first part of their name…

Ordered the Jasmine Honey green milk tea and almondnilla milk tea, both with boba. After tasting teapops boba tea, I discovered that East coast bubble tea was entirely different from the West. The boba was more chewy and sweeter, and the flavors that teapop provided were unique. The store itself is a huge room, very hipster-like with many students studying. The barista that took my order was very cheery and answered my many questions knowledgeably. 4 stars because I could not really taste the Jasmine green tea in my drink but it was a good drink overall!

Visited for the first time today and took advantage of the free add-on with Unilocal check-in! Pros: available parking in residential area nearby(street cleaning on Thursday though), free wi-fi(really timely and appropriate wifi password — RIP Prince), and best of all a huge space. No joke, the seating situation is awesome. Inside, there are tables for two and ample spaces at the communal tables with benches. There’s so much to look at with the art on the walls, the chalkboard menu, and the cute jars of loose leaf teas lined up on the counter. If it’s not scorching hot, you can take a seat outside where there are tables and two levels of bench seating with pillows. I’ve seen people lay down on those things, chillin with their laptops if its not too crowded — good way to get some sun AND be productive. Now cons: I rated only 4 stars because I tried the horchata jasmine latte and the jasmine taste overpowered the cinnamon taste that I love in horchata. It was also a bit watery because of too much ice. Before I left I ordered the sweet peach milk tea to go and that tasted much better, refreshing and fun. It did, however, just taste like peach milk so the tea taste wasn’t obvious. What can I say? If I’m ordering a caffeinated beverage I want it to taste caffeinated. Would definitely come back here to work on my laptop or convenient catch up with a friend since seating isn’t a problem.

Good place, good drinks but the ordering process needs to be better organized. We ordered 5 drinks total, and 3 drinks came out at a time then we had to wait for other people to get their drinks and then someone took our 4th drink cause she ordered the same one, so we basically waited a good amount of time for the last 2 drinks to finally come out(1 of them being the lady’s drink that took ours). Not sure if I’ll be back. This was our first time here, trying to find a local boba place and we thought ordering for take out would be easy. We didn’t imagine it would take this long for 5 drinks. The 2 ice blended drinks we ordered weren’t ice blended by the time we got the drinks back to the house minutes away and we waited so long between drinks that we had to put ice back in the rest of the other drinks because it all melted. So sad. I was hoping our first time here would be one of many but I’m very disappointed.

I love teapop! I live really close to this spot and it is so open and fun inside. I love the décor and everything. There’s an outside patio space that’s really nice too. It’s a great space that you can come to by yourself for a bit or even an easy spot for little business meetings! They have coconut milk and almond milk, which I love. I’m always excited when places have other milk options since I try to avoid dairy and don’t like soy. I always get the momo with boba! It’s so good. I love boba places and this place makes it easy to customize your beverage. Fun spot, love coming in. Definitely recommend it!

Cute and artsy drink shop with unique flavors and art. Boyfriend and I had some time to kill before our show taping at Conan O’Brien, so we stopped in for boba tea. The outside is decorated with great graffiti on the walls, and we stopped to look at the outdoor seating area first. There’s different kinds of seating, lights strung up, and decorations all around. Inside, there are magazines to read and board games to play while you’re there. There’s lots of unique drinks to choose from, either from the menu, written on a daily specials board, and grab and go bottles in the fridge. I was slightly overwhelmed with the options(I wanted to try EVERYTHING!), but the server was very nice and helped me narrow down my choices. I settled on the Noddy Toddy, which is coffee and milk tea. Very tasty and not too sweet! I added boba pearls, which were soft enough but not over cooked. It was a perfect mid-day pick-me-up, and a cute place to sit and chat with my boo. Great atmosphere, fast and friendly service.

A very artsy tea place indeed! Love the graphics wall murals, spacious seatings and the outdoor patio right at the back. Super Berry Green Tea is not too sweet and taste very fruity. I am very picky with the green tea I drank and it’s really good! I couldn’t decide to have jelly or boba so the staff recommended half and half. Great recommendation, lychee jelly taste really good, boba is well cooked very chewy. My friend ordered Almond Salted Caramel Milk Tea and it was also really good! Perfect balance of almond and salted caramel when I took the first sip! Tips: ~ Check-in for free add-on for any drink

Unilocal100REVIEWCHALLENGE2016 — 12⁄100 Yays, Teapop has made a come back! My hubby and I recently stopped by since we were craving boba. The Salted Caramel drink that I was disappointed about is fixed. No longer bland, but very delicious. Their milk tea is also very good. Definitely need to come back more often to try other things. Kudos Teapop!

Mixed feeling about TEAPOP(aka«cha ba» in Chinese). Didn’t realize that’s why it’s called TEAPOP till I saw the mural on the side. AMBIANCE– Super cute, slightly hipster, appropriate for NoHo. Inside are cement floors, pop art on the walls, and fun coffee shop games like Twister(?!) and wrestling. Outside are popcorn string lights, open space, pillows, and mossy ampersands hung up. Could be more well lit but there seemed to be somewhat of a crowd on a late Sunday evening, so it didn’t feel unsafe even though the back door is wide open. DRINKS– I wanted to like it, I really did. I love me some boba and we were surprised to find a boba place in NoHo. Should’ve realized it was too much of an anomaly to be true. I ordered the hot lavender milk tea half sweetened because American places are usually overly sweet. Actually, the half sweetened made it taste too healthy and I would recommend getting it with regular sweetness. You can also choose a free add-on with Unilocal check-in, and I made the second rookie mistake of choosing chia seeds with my lavender milk tea to be healthy. I love chia, but it looked like bugs inside my drink and didn’t fit the flavor and temperature profile of the drink. So, let your taste buds guide you, not your wallet when it comes to little decisions like this, for it will impact your happiness. On the plus side, they deliver. I think I would *only* choose this place if I were stuck in NoHo and really, really wanted boba. Otherwise, you have tons of other options on the Westside.

This place is adorable!!! Just a couple blocks away from mL and Millennium Dance Complex, TEAPOP is the perfect place for dancers to chill after class. The menu isn’t large but you get plenty of variety, and everything seems pretty wholesome and healthy. I went with the Honey Jasmine Green Tea, and it was just the right amount of sweetness for me, where it didn’t overpower the tea itself. I love the ambience of both the interior and exterior. They have some soft music playing, so it’s great if you want to sit inside with your laptop or with a good book, or catch up with a friend on their patio. They also have a merchandise corner, where you can find teas and trendy tea brewing accessories. This location is kind of easy to miss if you’re just driving by, but I highly recommend stopping in if you can!

Delicious. Their teas and coffees are subtle and just plain delicious. Very cute café to sit and work or chill. Prices are higher than a typical joint, but if you’re already dropping those $$$ on starbucks on the daily, this place is a nice refresher for the mind. Plus quality ingredients and lovely people behind the counter. My friend got the coconut infused coffee and I got the horchata bubble tea. The horchata tasted sweet and refreshing, you get a blend of the spices and the rice. Although not a traditional bubble tea flavor, I enjoyed it. My friend absolutely fell in love with her coconut coffee, and I don’t disagree! It was slightly thicker and creamy. Not only did it have the roast flavor and aroma, but also the sweet hint of coconut juice/meat. Definitely a must taste for coffee lovers. Would come back again when I’m in town.

Was pleasantly surprised about this place! Going in, I knew it was going to be cute, but very hipster so I was nervous if their milk teas would be good. Tried the peach mango milk tea and added lychee because unfortunately they were out of boba :(I’ll have to go back and try their boba — hopefully it’s good. However, the drink itself was absolutely heavenly. I wish I got the bigger size! Parking on the street is tough, but I ended up loving the drink I got. Will be back to try the rest and hang out here!

I adore this little spot. They have artistic photos on the wall. The décor is unique and inviting(especially their back patio). The games in the front of the store are also a great addition. They have cards and little board games. The boba tea was very delicious. You can pick from their combinations or customize your own drink from the brew to the flavor. You can check in to receive 20% off of their holiday drinks. The only downside is that parking can be a bit tricky and they didn’t offer honey boba.

Oh, I found a SGV(San Gabriel Valley) quality boba shop in the Studio City /Burbank /North Hollywood area! The environment is very hip and TEAPOP also have monthly«Pop Events»(see website for details). Parking shouldn’t be an issue because there’s plenty of available street parking. Don’t forget to use Unilocal check-in offer(one free boba add-on). Menu: You can either pick one of nine customized drinks(e.g. Black & White Milk Tea, Noddy Toddy, Coconut Cold Brew, etc) or customize your drink. They also offer pastries, muffin, cookies(e.g. pistachio crusted coconut cookies, molasses cookies), croissant, granola cup, etc. *** Horchata(Jasmine Rice + Almonds + Milk + Organic Agave, Regular $ 4.25 + Boba $ 0.50): This drink had more almond flavor than any other horchata I’ve tried and honestly it was a pretty good horchata. Boba were soft and warm, but the consistency weren’t there(too soft and a bit too much honey). *** This is tough, but I’ll have to give 4-star instead of 5-star. I really like their selection and drink quality, but I do think their boba texture and sweetness have potential for improvements.
