One star for the passableness of the food. We ordered through GrubHub, and tried this place as opposed to Flavor of India because it was cheaper. Stick w Flavor. Took 2 hours to get here after they quoted one hour, and that was even after I called them 2x(sounded like someone’s house, crying baby in the background) and then, after given the delivery driver’s cell, called him 2x also. When he arrived, he charged me cash for rice, $ 2.50, on top of the delivery and tip I already paid for. Food barely passable since we were starving. Next time get from Flavor of India.

Fantastic food, really glad we decided to order in – the soup was still hot when it arrived. I’ll certainly add these folks to the short list of restaurants from which to order.

Sooooooo Good! I have been craving it since I had it last week. I wasn’t sure at first because the inside of the restaurant made me question whether the food would be good or not, but like the saying goes«don’t judge a book by its cover.» The Chicken Tikki Masala and the Lamb Curry were the two things we ordered and completely satisfied. Highly recommend this place!

Just about perfect. If you want to try Indian food you have to go here. Everything is good.

By far the best-tasting Indian food I’ve had in LA. Consistently good flavor in all the different sauces I’ve tried. Not sure what other people are talking about not getting enough meat in their orders because there’s always been plenty in mine. It’s family-run and you’ll probably be able to tell by the owner’s kids running around the place during certain hours, so that probably adds to the long wait time. If you don’t mind waiting for good food, you’ll enjoy this place.

I’ve been coming here for almost 3 years. It took me a long time to find an Indian place where I really enjoyed the food after moving back to the US from the UK. This was matched the best with the flavors and foods I love! Down side is the restaurant itself. I get take out 99% of the time because I don’t want to eat there. The kids can be very bratty, and I know this is a small family run place but either teach the children how to behave or get a babysitter. They ruin the experience of eating there. Also I’ve read multiple reviews giving them one star for their portion size. Their portion sizes are typical of Indian restaurants, they are not small and I can get two meals out of it. This is not an American Super Size Me place so don’t expect overindulgent American sizes.

I love Robina’s food. It’s my favorite Peshwari nan I have found. Everything is always great!

The chicken tikka masala is good but it’s not the best so far the best one in my opinion it’s the chicken tikka masala in «Taste of India» located in Sherman oaks. The portions are small like all usual Indian restaurants that’s disappointing. They have no dinner special you have to pay for everything separate. I think they should just include the rice with the meal but nope! they don’t do that.

Stopped by on a Sunday evening and the place was empty. Ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, a side of rice and garlic nan for a whopping $ 22.00 dollars. I don’t have an issue paying that amount but please do provide your patrons with a decent portion of Chicken Tikka Masala. 8 cubes of chicken does not equal a decent portion as you can see by the photo. The food was actually good but just can’t seem to understand why every Indian restaurant serves such small portions. Perhaps Robina and all other Indian restaurants should really consider providing greater portions. The 8 cubes of chicken doesn’t even equal to a half a breast of chicken. It’s not like the chicken is top grade chicken. Robina, get your act together so you can see the steady flow of customer walk thru your doors. Your food is good but your prices and portions suck!!! Ps: good Indian food can be had at Saffrons on Figaroa and 7th street in downtown LA. Great prices good taste and generous portions.

The saag paneer is delicious!!! One of the greater tasting recipes I have had! The food is fresh, hot, fast. The recipe is made with care and authentic. I have had dozens of Indian restaurants, the recipe here is delightful! I highly recommend this intimate restaurant for dine in. Small –6 tables available, but very nice.

Legit Indian cuisine – the best I’ve had in this area. Chicken curry is awesome! Spicy though, even if you don’t order Hot. Curry paired with the Aloo Parata is a devine combination. Restaurant is small, and you’re subject to street parking, but it’s worth it. The food is fresh, and can take time to prepare, so I definitely recommend calling ahead to order if you’re going to pick up. THEYDELIVER(within a 3-mile radius). You can order directly from their website or from Eat24 and GrubHub, but delivery minimums and fees change depending on which site you use. They’re open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. – WITHDISCOUNTEDLUNCHPRICES – and then they reopen at 5 p.m. Closing hours vary from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. depending on the day of the week.

We have followed this family for over 10 years and they have consistently served us amazing food. My husband orders the chicken coconut curry nearly every time. Highly recommended! I also love their raita, naans and biryanni. When we had children, the chef even suggested good foods for the baby/toddler and now preschooler. He’s always cut the pieces small and packaged it up in small containers just for him. So kind! They always make us feel at home and treat us like family. We can’t wait to go back soon!

Really great food! I got the chicken korma medium and it was perfect! The restaurant is very clean, and the family running it very nice. It’s all very affordable and again great quality. The rice, the naan, all fresh and hot. It all really looks made to order. On a side note… the iced tea is delicious!

Will not be eating from this place ever again. 1:45 minutes to get our food delivered. Ok it was raining and I understand it may add a little to the deliver time but 1:45 is way too much. Then, I get a call from the driver(who I later learned was the manager) when he was out front. He tell me I have to come to the car to get my food because its’ raining. Really??? I told him if he couldn’t bring it to the door he could just keep it and cancel my order. He finally came to the door 10 minutes later. Late deliver top off by really bad food. Both the chicken and the lamb had the texture of eating a wet phone book and both were flavorless. Had I been eating there I would have sent it all back. Never again!!!

Disgusting and pathetic delivery service… I don’t really write reviews because honestly… there’s just not enough time in my day for these things. That said, this place was horrendous enough that I feel the need to take the time to call them out and let everyone else know what to expect. Here’s a quick summary of my experience. I ordered food for one, about $ 20 bucks worth. The driver gets here, calls me and asks me to come outside to pick up my food… so I go to answer my door, and no one is there. At that point I come back inside find my shoes and socks, get dressed enough to go outside, walked out of my apartment complex and what do I see? This jack*** is sitting on his cell phone in his car talking… not even attempting to get out and deliver the food. It gets even better though… I sign for my food, and reach out to take it from his hand and the guy pulls back and tries to keep my food from me. He points to the bill and says«tip’s cash» I just look at him dead in the face and said yes Im going to tip you cash, and I went to reach for my food again. Well the guy once again pulled my food back away from me, stuck out his other hand and says«cash, you tip cash first.» I was originally going to tip 20%, but by that point, the guy took his 20% tip down to whatever change I had in my pocket. I tossed it at him and GRABBED my food out of his greasy little hands. I’ve never dealt with anything like this until Robina’s…outrageous.
