Payless Shoes Source

Gosh how I love this store! There clearance section is awesome since I have four kids shoe shopping can get pretty expensive but I always go here and find great deals. They have a good selection in each size and the store is always very organized. Each employee that I’ve encountered has been very friendly with a smile on there face. I will be at this store again soon since school will be starting, this is the only place I buy shoes for my kids since they have such good deals.

The store was well put together when I went yesterday I was looking for a certain style was able to find it but it was a bit of a tight fit therefore I asked if they can give me a size bigger when I clearly saw 5 or 6 of the same shoe boxes on top. The older gentleman working there did not want to check for me i had already look on the website for another pair of shoes and when I asked about those again he said they don’t have it and went on doing his own thing. It doesn’t hurt to go an extra step to help the customer given the fact that one of the main reasons he was there was customers service! Not happy with it not going back!

I went to this location today for a pair of shoes I wanted that they didn’t have in stock. I only saw one associate and I think the poor girl was by herself.
She was very helpful, sweet and helped me find a store that had my size; despite the amount of customers that filled the store.
The only negative point was that the aisles were cluttered and full of boxes and shoes strewn about by customers with bad manners. But like I said, it seemed she was by herself, so it didn’t bother me. :]

Keep in mind that they do not always have every shoe they sell so check online and do a store availability search. One of the employees told me that if you want a store with a larger selection go to one located inside a shopping mall.
I also order shoes online (using online promo discount codes) and have them sent to the store for free. I’d be fine with paying the $ 5.95 ship to home fee, but I usually order the same shoe in two different sizes to try on and I might as well return the one that doesn’t fit at the same time I come to get the shoes.
Be warned — Shipping is VERY SLOW.

The funny thing is I only need them twice a year. When I want to buy new cheap dress shoes during the rainy season in LA «which is like 3 weeks during the year lol» and when I want to buy a sexy pair of heels for lady friends who come over and wana play dress up lol :) Bonus cuz the heels are cheap and sexy and durable lol.
But everytime i go in, I get a friendly face, quick service, and find what I want immediately… can’t fault a store for that! :)

I’m not much of a shoe buyer, but I had to buy new work shoes at the ones I bought on eBay were killing my feet. Working at the Cheesecake Factory you have to buy white slip resistant shoes, which is a pain to find. Luckily a co-​worker overheard me and told me that Payless now carries them.
I went in and was greeted by the very friendly staff, which was refreshing. Then I was lead to the shoe in my sizes and told about the sale going on about buy one shoe, get one half off. Obviously I didn’t even see the huge sign at the front of the store, thus that bit of info resulted me buying 4 different kinds and pairs of shoes.
