This spot is legit. Family own and oriented! The vibe is just cool and the barber brothers both super professional and will get you the cleanest cuts out there. Check them out! I have been getting a hair cut here since 2005!

It goes without saying that the store front can be misleading, but the inviting interior and pleasant staff make this place perfect for hair cuts.
They definitely are better at cutting men’s hair than women’s, but are great for simple maintenance for any gender.
The super hero decorations (particularly Superman) give a great character to this business.
Prices are great for men’s hair! Friendly staff and awesome decorations.

This is a great place. Carlos has been cutting my hair since about 2004. It’s within walking distance from where I live. When I first moved to my neighborhood, I was looking for a good barbershop that could cut «black hair» at a reasonable price. After some misses, I decided to try this place since it was so close to me. I’m glad I did. Both Carlos and Fernando, his brother, are excellent barbers, and are really cool, nice guys. The price can’t be beat. They’re attentive, and really listen to you.

It’s a great barbershop they are nice and they know how to cut hair. Great with kids. Highly recommend. Love the superman theme and the price is great.

This place is a little hole-​in-​the-​wall next to a smoke shop I go to. Today, I desperately needed a fade, but I didn’t feel like paying $ 28 at my normal spot, so I figured why not try a new place that cheap. If anything, I’ll just pay attention to his cutting to make sure the fade is how I need it. I got my haircut from Carlos, and he gave me the fastest and best bald fade i’ve ever gotten! I paid with a card, and there was no spot on the receipt for tip, so he said to get him next time. I’m DEFINITELY coming back here with a huge tip in hand.

This is an awesome place and most Definately a hidden gem, the bothers are a great tag team in this shop.
Fernando is a down to earth guy and takes care of you.
It’s Definately worth the drive for me even tho I’m 25 minutes awaybut there’s also a liquor store and a tattoo shop next to each other. that’s a win win situation for me.

DO NOT GO HERE! They WILL ruin your hair!!! I asked for a half inch off all over (I went in with a straight cut and JUST wanted a trim), what I got was a half inch off in back, two inches off in front and I just barely caught her before she cut bangs! They absolutely do not listen to you and I’m going to lose 3 – 4 inches just to fix this mess!

My roommate actually recommended this little barbershop to me. I’ve come to the conclusion that my hair is simply the type that can be best styled and shaped after a few days have gone by (so I’m not looking for that «fairy tale» salon place where you sit in the chair and all of a sudden your hair is so awesome that it’d make Tony Manero blush).
As long as I’ve been here in LA, I’ve done everything from higher-​end salons to Supercuts, and that’s how I’ve learned that every place just does the same thing… except at dramatically different price ranges.
Hollywood Hair offered everything I could ask for from a haircut place — inexpensive price as well as wonderful & courteous customer service.
My roommate usually gets his haircut from Carlos, but since he is not usually there on Sundays, I had Carlos’ brother, Fernando, who was awesome. Nicest guy ever, asked me questions about how I typically have my hair styled, and took every consideration before going into shearing. Plus, we ended up talking about the latest Marvel movies that came out, so we definitely had plenty to converse about while he took care of my hair.
I believe the price has moved up a little from $ 10 to $ 12 (but that’s nothing in comparison to other haircut places usually). For me, that’s a great price for great service.
I’m very happy I decided to come check this place out. No doubt, I will be back again!

I get my hair did and a clean line-​up here. The two brothers that work here do a great job. The service is fast and the work is clean. The prices are also better vs other haircut places.
I’ve been coming here for the past half a year, I wish I would have known about this place before. Mos def a hidden gem.
