Just waiting for a foodborne illness breakout! Where is the board of health? Man behind counter, licking his fingers to pick up the scratch paper on the line. Nobody wearing gloves while making an abundance of ready to eat sandwiches… Woman making sandwiches gloveless while her hair hangs half way down her body… vendor making a delivery while walking in the food production areas. The cheap prices won’t make up for the lack of sanitation!

There are not nearly enough shops of this sort left. You can get gas, a made to order sandwich and the prices are unbelievably reasonable. My two favorite things are: the chicken salad sandwich for $ 2.45, with chips and drink (I’m out of there for less than $ 5); and, its the last place on god’s green earth that allows you to pay for gas AFTER pumping it. The place is quick and draws a classic construction/​guys who work for a living crowd. The only thing keeping this place from a solid 4 star is the check-​out lady’s surly attitude. Honey, if you don’t like the job or business, just get out, or let someone else run the register. Watch, now the prices will go up and no pumping before paying.
