Francesca’s Pizzeria

Crappy pizza just like every other place in north haledon. Sauce was gross, too many spices used. The calzone my boyfriend bought was the only good part about this order.

BEST PIZZA I’VE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.
Parked to use my phone and happened to see this place in the strip mall. Walked in and was greeted by a family behind the counter of a sparkling clean, classic pizzeria with red and white checkerboard tables and a down to earth atmosphere.
Ordered a sausage and pepperoni 18″ and wolfed down half of it with my friend. Every single bite was SPECTACULAR. The sausage was spicy and sliced thin while the pepperoni was lively and complex. The sauce and cheese were perfectly balanced without being too sweet and the crust, wow!, thin and floppy for folding but crispy toward the edges with a nicely oiled and seasoned edge.
It was a life-​changing event, no lie. I travel all over the country and eat a lot of everything. This permanently raised my standards for pizza.

Walked in here hungry and in a hurry. Figured let me grab two slices. Place is small, typical joint. There were only a few pies out. Plain, pepperoni, cheesteak pie and few others. I’ve never been here before so I got the plain and a cheese steak slice. Not bad but I have definitely had better. They were sitting awhile and maybe by selection which was small do not seem like they are very busy. Probably wouldn’t stop back.

Holy cow. This place perfectly fulfilled my pizza craving. Thin crispy crust, ridiculously delicious tomato sauce, inventive ingredient combinations… I’m a huge fan.

I’ve been here once and the pizza was great.
It’s family owned, cousins, brothers, mom… everyone, it’s great.
You can tell the recipes are from home, the sauce isn’t just simmered tomatoes, there’s an acidity and a flavor you don’t really see at other pizza shops.
I only came for a quick slice, but I will be back!

Tried Francesca’s for the first timethis week and I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. Pizza was exactly how we ordered it and the crust was delicious.
Our picky 4 year old loved the fried calamari or «circle things» as she likes to call them. They were not chewy or over-​cooked as what seems to happen with pizzeria calamari.
The chicken fingers were a nice white meat and generously portioned.
I think we have found our neighborhood pizzeria– finally.
Oh and the pricing was good too. :)

Up and coming local pizzeria. First time in and I tried the white slice and hot roast beef sandwich with gravy. The pizza was very good and the sandwich is definitely a must try! I’ll be back for sure!
