Moby Dick Motel

Utterly foul.
Do you like the smell of a moldy basement? And the industrial carpet on the bedroom floor that feels like somebody changed the oil in their motorcycle over it? The skanky furnishings that haven’t been upgraded since 1974? When my kids saw where we’d have to sleep that night they cried. I cried. The best thing about it is that I have now experienced the most disgusting motel ever, so anything else will seem not quite as bad.

This motel needs reviews! This past weekend myself and 4 friends tripped to New Bedford and booked two rooms here for Saturday night.
It is an older motel, but the service was very friendly and accommodating to our group and plans. The rooms were INCREDIBLY clean and absolutely SPOTLESS! No weird stains on the floor, rooms and linens obviously purified after each guest. Microwave, mini fridge, and tv in each room, all fairly new and in excellent condition. I have been in significantly sketchier hotels with less attention to detail and cleanliness.
It is a family-​owned establishment and the enforced quiet hours after eight mean they desire no ‘funny-​business’, which can be a concern for most motels.
