Roast beef dry and flavorless. Fries were basic service was eh at best. Prices were ok but would pay more for better food next time. First stop here so maybe a random bad experience but can’t imagine the roast beef being any better it was simply poor.

Awesome roast beef sandwich. The bbq sauce they use on it(if you elect to have the sauce) was great! We sat outside and it was a great spot for some people watching and relaxing. The staff was friendly. Warning — Many toppings to the sandwiches are an extra cost if they aren’t ones that come with the sandwich(like lettuce, tomato, cheese etc). This is stated on the menu, but just be careful you aren’t constructing a sandwich that is more expensive than a version already there. There are different versions of sandwiches or burgers that include different toppings.

Great roast beef sandwiches!!! Seriously yummy. Good hamburgers, too. Onion rings are the best I’ve had! You really have to try them! Cute place. Nice, quick service. Mark is an awesome waiter! He was fast, very friendly, & pointed out local places to see/visit! Awesome service! Can’t wait to go back & try something different. Liked being able to sit/eat outside & people watch. :)

Good, fresh roast beef. We have had the standard roast beef sandwich, open faced, french dip, and fish and chips. Tip — get it the standard with cheese and the sauce. A bit spicy. We get our food to go and roll in after 7:00PM typically. The service is OUTSTANDING. Always friendly, helpful no matter how busy, and they include everything before you even ask for it. Great small business in North Conway.

We stopped in with our 2 small children for a quick bite. The outdoor seating was perfect. Unfortunately the food was disappointing. Kids meals were fine(grilled cheese and cheeseburger) my husband had fried clams that were undercooked and I had a veggie wrap that was served with literally 5 stale tortilla chips. Service was lack luster. When we tried to flag down our waiter he seemed to ignore us. We finally had another woman bring the check over and this was when we informed her of the meals. She said«well just take it off the bill if you don’t like it» So… Blah food and poor customer service. Much better places within walking distance.

Sometimes it’s the little places that surprise you… During a family trip we were looking for something to feed the kids and ourselves, and we looked at the conveniently placed menu on the sidewalk… I whipped out my phone fired up Unilocal and I was amazed at the high rating. we were seated quickly by a very pleasant woman who put tables together for 2 adults and 3 children. drink orders were taken and it was easy to see there was a regular crowd who frequent and the friendly banter between the staff and them was fun to witnesses. But you would think that might have interfered with the service… nope. the entire staff while being pleasant with customers and each other move and communicate with a sense of urgency to please all customers regulars and newcomers alike. The food was extremely good and edible. I regret not getting the open face roast beef. I saw many go by and vowed the next time I go to this place I will be trying that… I ended up with a chicken parmesan that was to die for… Go here now.

So what else do you expect to find in northern New Hampshire??? Why yes of course a seafood place that is also serving amazing roast beef!!! WHAT! I had the classic roast beef served the perfect medium rare, AMAZE! To go with it I had a local beer and a side of onion rings. Some great onion rings at that! My pops had fish and chips(haddock) and he loves fish so the verdict was great! I was so surprised! Will I come back here? Hell yeah! With friends and we will get drunk and eat homemade ARBY’s lol. Oh yeah and seafood! Plus, they have a full service bar! The owner and staff are amazing!

The place is small but the food is really good(and fresh) I had the haddock/scallop plate and it was a good serving of both.

Not entirely sure I get the popularity. It is the cheapest place in this high price tourist town but still nothing special except the dog friendly patio. Very bland dry roast beef on boring buns.

We ate here Labor Day weekend. We were underwhelmed by both the food and service. There was live music which was nice. They are also dog friendly with the outdoor seating. Just took forever and the food was average. The roast beef sandwiches come in multiple sizes so posters shouldn’t complain if they ordered a sandwich too small for their appetite.

Mediocre at best. Friendly staff and service, but the food is bland and the portions are small. There are also flies swarming all over the place inside, that rest on your food and arms while you try to eat and swat at the same time. Any drinks you ask for are all plastic bottled drinks, fyi.

A great find in Conway. Attentive owner and staff, among the Best onion rings ever, and the Roast Beef deluxe or Fish and Chips are excellent. The combined service and food, topped by the low prices, and excellent outdoor vista, make this a ‘must visit’, in the MW valley. A wonderful surprise on August 13th.

Passed this place walking through town on July 4th and couldn’t resist the menu to grab lunch. Lots of selections and outdoor seating was all we needed even on a rainy day! The inside of this place is tiny but the menu is large and contains everything from delicious roast beef sandwiches to seafood selections, burgers and nachos, appetizers etc. Prices are modest and the service is top notch and friendly! We came here with kids and there was 8 of us and they were accommodating and welcoming. Service was also fast and the food was excellent! Highly recommended for a quick bite or to grab a drink from their great selection of cocktails and beers!

My family of 4 went on a gorgous day so decided to eat at their outside seating area. That area can seat about 6 tables, each with sun umbrella. The hostess/cashier/waitress is super friendly and she made us welcome immediately. Awesome onion rings. We ordered a large and inhaled that basket in the matter of seconds. I ordered roast beef sandwich with BBQ sauce and it came between a burger bun. I thought it was alright. My wife and daughter each ordered a fried clam dish, and its whole clam which I liked alot. Price point is reasonable. Overall I thought their fried food is better than the roast beef sandwich. I will consider another meal next time when we are vaca in North Conway.

Roast Beef sandwiches are awesome! I have not stopped by the new North Conway location, but when they were in Bridgton, ME. never a bad meal. Priced well, good food, great service and the owner is great. I always buy the roast beef with lettuce, tomato, and cheese.

It was a rainy day in North Conway, so we walked around with our umbrellas and found this. The only thing wrong, for us, was the laminate floor is like an ice rink, with wet sneakers, and my 6 year old granddaughter took a hard fall on her buttocks. Maybe they should rethink that floor. Getting past that, I had the quesadilla, my granddaughter had the chicken nuggets and onion rings and husband had the scallops. MMMMMMMMM, All was excellent, For me, probably the best quesadilla that I have had, anywhere. People are nice. Not many tables, but they seemed to have regulars and people who come in for take out, and a small part, nicely stocked. My husband, is a recovering alcoholic, so it would have been nice to have non-alcoholic beers, available, or at least root beer. Drink choices, for non-alcohol were limited. I chose diet soda but would have liked bottled water, and I did not see it. We will definitely go back there, if passing that way. I highly recommend.

Menu was good. Better than your average sub shop. I had Pastrami, could have used a bit more meat but it was a good lunch. I liked being able to take it outside to eat. We also ordered: Roast Beef — Only okay Nachos — she ordered beef nachos and they came just the way an 11 year old wanted, she was thrilled Potato skins — she loved them so success Nothing fancy, but for an inexpensive lunch where you can sit outside and relax a bit in North Conway this is a fantastic place. I will go back.

Beef & Ski officially opened over the weekend in North Conway Village in the former Crepes Ooh La La/Mountain Dawg Café space. Beef & Ski is back in town and started in business back in 1976 in North Conway with other locations open in Maine. This cozy space was nicely redone has a takeout counter with overhead menu boards, indoor table seating, and a small bar area in the back of the dining room. In nicer weather, there is outside patio seating in front of the restaurant. The menu features sandwiches, burgers, wraps, and dinner plates including roast beef, turkey, chicken, longhorn steak, prime rib, French dip au jus, BBQ ribs, fried seafood(clams, shrimp, scallops, haddock), sides, salads, and small baked goods. The prices seem reasonable for the area, sandwiches $ 3.95-$ 7.95, most specialties & seafood boats(with one side) $ 7.95-$ 9.95, and seafood dinners(choice of fries, rings, or slaw and baked potato) $ 11.95-$ 19.95. After skiing at Cranmore, I decided to stop at the new Beef & Ski dinner takeout before heading home. I scanned over the menu and made a decision to order the Grand Opening Special, which was an Opened Faced Roast Beef Sandwich with Baked Potato and Salad($ 8.95). I was able to substitute the baked potato for onion rings. The food was packed and ready to go in under 10 minutes, service with a smile! Though the presentation wasn’t fancy and the portion was just right for a light dinner, the food I had was decent, but quite tasty overall. The opened faced roast beef sandwich was normal size, which had a good amount of moist soft pieces of tender lean medium roast beef on top of a long slice of French bread, hot gravy on the side. The handmade onion rings were crispy with sweet onions with some coating falling off, very good. The side salad on the same plate was very very small and a few bites, dressing on the side. After looking at the menu again, I will be sure to try the opened-faced prime rib sandwich on a future visit to Beef & Ski.
