Subway

Nothing to write home about for this Subway location. Been a few times and it’s never come off as the cleanest fast food place, and calling it fast is a stretch. Even during semi-​busy lunch hours, it always seems to be one of the slower Subways I’ve been to. The food is normal Subway quality, but the staff could do a better job of using gloves when handling the food. I’ve seen more than once the folks in this Subway either without gloves or not changing gloves after they should. A lot of that comes with the territory of fast food, and since it’s close to my office, it’s not enough to keep me away forever.

Worse service ever.
Ordered a vegan sub. They put scant amount of veggies on it. When I asked for extra spinach, she said she’d have to charge me for it. Vegetarians need vegetables. not a scant amount that you’d put on a meat sandwich. I’ve never had this experience with any other subway.
After she told me she was going to charge me extra for 10 more leaves of spinach, I told her to keep her sandwich and I went down to the subway on 8409 Dorchester Rd #102 North Charleston, SC 29 420 near the Publixs. They were happy to make a veg sandwich and not charge me extra.
(in case the owner or manager is reading this, I was there at 4:30 ish on 4÷14÷2015 and a black young lady waited on me)
As an aside, they shouldn’t be touching meat than touching a vegetable sandwich either. Vegetarians do not appreciate the cross contamination. After being treated so surly, I was afraid to ask her to change her gloves.
Will not return.

This subway is really clean. The bathrooms were spotless, the inside of the restaurant didn’t have a spec of dirt and the food counter was not extremely messy, as some can get.
The bread tasted as fresh as can be– the meat was standard deli meat, but the vegetables were delicious. They were crispy and I can tell they had just been cut.
The staff is super friendly and easy to talk to. The service is quick. The only downfall is the parking lot. It is shared and extremely small. I would suggest parking along the side of the building.
