Starbucks – Target Store

Terrible! I love getting chunky coffee then told it’s just soy beans. Both this location and tanger suck.

This Starbucks is located inside Target. The regular Starbucks is located on 7381 Rivers Ave. The phone number & operating hours are wrong for this location @ Target.

This Starbucks, inside target, is my favorite in the area. I’m giving 4 stars because they never have more than one employee working, which means they’re slow. The staff is friendly and always gets my drink order right.

This location is great because of the drive-​thru, however the traffic is heavy surrounding the area, so be forewarned. Even getting in to the drive-​thru can be a bit of a challenge, but if you can’t get out of your car (sleeping toddler anyone?), it’s the best thing ever!!!
I love to actually park and go inside this one. The atmosphere is a mixed vibe of definitely Starbucks, but with a hint of a real café! There are some folks who can work in this atmosphere and there is a nice outdoor area with seating as well, although you’re right by the end of the drive-​thru and facing Rivers Ave, it somehow still manages to be somewhat relaxing!
They have all the regular coffee, most importantly, the cold brew. It’s pretty good! And I don’t know if it’s just because I get the cold brew plain, but service is also pretty good and not too long of a wait.
Special note: If you don’t know how long it takes to make an Espresso, you shouldn’t complain about the wait time whilst in a drive-​thru.

I enjoy Starbucks coffee, so this review is strictly driven by service. At this particular location, I generally utilize the drive thru. Staff at the drive thru window are generally very nice, but the amount of time it takes to get a coffee is often greater than ten minutes. For that reason alone I give this location four stars.

I cannot STAND this starbucks. This is the one inside target.
The first time I visited this location I ordered my usual semi complex drink and even was telling the barista how it is usually rang in and a step by step in how to make it. The girl at the register was just in shock and the women behind her said «you know what? If you want that drink go across the street they’ll make it for you.» I’ve never been so enraged in my life. I work food and bev and I bartend so I have a fair amount of patience with things like this but that was absolutely uncalled for.
I had boycotted this location for a long time. Recently I owed a friend a coffee and we were in target already and they just wanted one from this location. She ordered hers and I ordered mine. I clearly ordered a grande and was handed the exact same thing as what my friend ordered in a tall. Not what I had ordered at all.
I do not recommend this location if your drink is any sort of off menu bc they will screw it up and overcharge you.
Horrible. More training and menu knowledge is needed all the way across the board.
Skip this starbucks and take the 4 minutes to go to the one across the street next to panda express.

This Starbuck is the slowest! Starbucks I ever been too service suck!!! Don’t ever go there again! Don’t give them your money. Don’t even go there unless you arnt got NOTHING to do with your time because I waited 45minutes for my drinks. The baristas didn’t even talk to you. Or apologies for being slow and no they just don’t care about you. They are sooo slow!!! Just thinking about the service I wanna die. Ughhh worst Starbuck! On earth!!!

I love Starbucks, but this was the worst experience at a drive through anywhere. I was 4 or 5 cars back and the entire process took 23 minutes. Each person in front appeared to order just one drink. We officially placed our order at the speaker at 1:48 (per the cup) and didn’t get it till after 2:00. The batista at the window didn’t acknowledge my wait or anything like that. She actually just said the cost and thank you. The problem is your can’t leave because the drive through lane is blocked by a curb. Oh, and they had plenty of people working and we saw two people walk in and then walk out with their order. This starbucks in North Charleston actually didn’t start to make my order until after I paid from what I could see in the window.

Great Starbucks location. Standard fanfare but the temperature was not too cold or hot, and the lighting was perfect.
It has a decent sized outdoor seating.
The inside is well laid out, with a long work table with plugins underneath the sides near your thighs for easy access. It’s perfect for the TTC students who go there to study and down some coffee!
The soft chars are comfy and I constantly see employees cleaning up the chairs and tables, making sure they are clean for everyone, including the leather chairs!
Fast service, decent speed drive-​thru… I’ll be back.

Great staff and location. I’m not a huge Starbucks fan, but I like this store.

Can’t start my day without a cup-​a-​joe… So I had to find the nearest Starbucks when I came to Charleston for the weekend with my boyfriend. The staff was super nice, and even though the shop was rather busy, they kept a food pace to get orders out. Awesome job!

I came back for seconds on the peach green tea lemonade. …I MIGHT have upgraded my grande to a trenta too… lol. GUILTY!
Merridee was HILARIOUS & hooked with me as she made my drink. Outstanding service & environment!

Nice and roomy. Many tables, couches, and free wifi.
Plenty of outside seating for cool days and nights.
The baristas are very friendly and engaging. I like that. Makes me feel like I’m with friends.
The coffee and desserts are always great, fresh and indulgent.
I like that they are putting out sugar in packets now, instead of the «free pour» container. That container always seemed to get clogged.
I like my coffee hot, strong, and now.
That’s how they serve it.

not a coffee drinker, but enjoy their comfort foods… brownies, rice krispy treats, other sweet treats etc. and hot chocolate in winter. And hanging out with my boyfriend there while we surf the net
Would like more variety of hot teas maybe, but not really complaining.
I’m glad they upgraded their furniture and got new chairs awhile back and replaced
the dirty orangy ones they used to have. Looks nice now and nice to sit outside
on a breezy evening spring through fall.
this is probably the nicest Starbucks around, with two of my fav stores. Target and Ross in the shopping center behind. Target now has a Starbucks inside, too, but
no outside seating.

Friendliest staff and most consistent baristas.

This is a great Starbucks. Adding a drive-​thru is the only thing that would push it up to 5 stars and is the only thing that is missing. There’s little variation in how the drinks are prepared from one Starbucks to the next… I like their drinks, so my like for this location is driven by the open interior and friendly staff.

My favorite Starbucks. Friendliest staff of any Starbucks. Could use a few more chairs.
