Fairfield Inn & Suites Charleston Airport/Convention Center

This is a nice, clean hotel. I was a little dubious as I pulled in– it is surrounded by three other hotels which are nowhere near as nice and had a lot of noise happening in the evening, but it ended up exceeding my expectations. The room was very nice and incredibly clean. I really appreciated how many outlets it had– you never really realize how few some hotels have until you are traveling for business and need to charge a lot of things overnight.
A special bonus points category given for having showers that are tall enough to taller individuals with good water pressure. That’s probably the biggest thing I care about.
The free breakfast was okay, nothing to write home about but it got the job done. It was exceptionally clean, and I appreciated the wide selection of coffee and teas they had available– they had multiple kinds of Bigelow tea available. Most places only have that orange tea, if they have any at all.
I would definitely stay again when I am in the area.

Very nice stay. the check in was one of the best I have had in a while. The person who checked me in gave my room a call to check if the room was satifactory and if I found I needed anything. The room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was hot and good quality. I definatly plane to stay at more Fairfield Inns in the future.

Very nice, clean hotel. I was skeptical at first and admittedly prefer full service– but– this is a nice surprise. Staff friendly, rooms very clean, room is pretty big too. Thumbs up.

Offers free breakfast and wifi. We were there on Monday and Tuesday and they offer free wine and beer from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. The staff was very friendly. Rooms are clean. Their outdoor pool are heated and use saline. Not the usual chlorine pools.

Always stay here when I visit Charleston. Great location, people, drinks (free 1700 – 1900), and clean too! — can’t ask for more from a hotel

This is an older hotel, but very clean and well-​kept — check-​in was friendly. My room was very average, with comfy beds, clean linens and clean bathroom. There is plenty of free parking. Breakfast was good and the area was well-​stocked and clean. This hotel is a short walk to a really nice outlet mall (if that’s your kind of thing), and very close to the Performing Arts Center. You can walk to the Performing Arts Center, but it is a little bit farther than the outlet mall. It’s all good!

Free drinks m-​f 5 – 7. Yay! I have stayed here twice in the last few months. Each time I have been treated wonderfully. The property is clean and quiet. Thomas runs the free bar in the evening and he is an excellent ambassador for Marriott properties. I really like this place. Close to food and shopping without the nightmare of Charleston traffic!

I stayed here for one of my visits to Charleston, and the room was clean (and trendy), the staff was friendly, and the complementary drinks during the week were awesome. However, the one thing that utterly annoyed me during the stay was the room service.
I had a late start to the day after driving the evening before and did not have my room serviced that morning, so I requested that my room be cleaned when I was leaving the inn for the day. I came back around 3pm and my room was still not cleaned. I called the main office and they said they were sending someone to come right away and I left the inn a second time. I came back around 7pm and my room was still not cleaned! Someone finally came and serviced the room but not to the fullest extent: the tv remote was made up within the bed, the bathroom had nasty brown shoe prints on the floor, and all of the «new» towels had hair in it.
Overall, this place is great but the room service sucks.

Great breakfast, the host and hostess were so friendly. The front desk staff was great as well. The ladies were so helpful with suggesting places to visit while we were there. The rooms were clean and we had a good nights rest.

Friendly staff and nice little rooms. I’d say it is a good value
