I ran into this giant eagle to literally get 3 things(I was right next door) now I know their organic section is small but I went to grab a bag of shredded cheese and it was moldy. Pretty disgusting. Then I had to take my daughter into the bathroom and the floor was covered in a sticky black substance and overall looked like it had been a while since they had been clean. Gross.

Selection, layout and convenience are the good points. The bad — pricey big time compared to area competitors that just concentrate on selling you food without all the fanfare and flair. If you really want to save money on groceries here, avoid name brands, avoid the produce period and try to shop here for as little as possible because there are way better priced options in the area.

Rude cashiers and you usually have to bag your own groceries. Will not go back

I recently moved and this is the closest Giant Eagle to me now. I much prefer the 30th St. Giant Eagle and the one at Washington Square. They are both organized better and the staff seems to be nicer as well(specifically the cashiers). This Giant Eagle is not horrible… it is definitely the most convenient since it is at The Strip, but when I have the time I will go out of my way to visit a different location.

Nice grocery store. HUGE, actually. Helpful folks. Clean bathrooms. It’s hard to compare prices, being from the West Coast but it seemed reasonable to me.

My favorite«EAGLE»(spoken loudly with emphasis) I love their fish and meat counters.
