Just ate the chicken cordon bleu. So good. The ham was a thick slice and delicious. The prime rib is also amazing. It cost a bit more than the supermarket but well worth it!

Been a loyal customer for years. I refuse to buy steak anywhere else. Their seasonings are impeccable and the service is undeniable. Always in stock of what I need. Great prices on top of it all!

Had stopped going to meat again years ago. Their prices were too high. The meats were really good but out of my budget. Decided to try it again because I was at the brown plaza at another business. I bought teriyaki tip $ 12.99 lb. thought was a lot but remember them being worth it. Well they were very tough and chewy and had no teriyaki flavor. So disappointed. Hamburgers that tasted good but a little too greasy for me. Also got a Spinach salad that was amazing! Bought marinated chic breast for $ 8.98 lb. very expensive in my opinion. Have not eaten them yet. I will not be going back to meat again any time soon.

We have used Meat Again twice for their catering service as we love them as a butcher shop. The food served is delicious, the workers were friendly, and it is a good value. They provide plates, plastic flatware and condiments as well as choice of four sides. My ONLY complaint is that they provide too much food for the sides. The amount of meat was perfect but each time, the amount of the sides provided was much more than my guests could eat. They should consider lessening the amount as I had to pack up a lot of food.

Meat Again is a great place to go for lunch and to get a variety of high quality meats at a reasonable price. I highly recommend the marinated meats. I have been going to Meat Again with my family for 20 years and have never been disappointed. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Many people that I have talked to also love Meat Again. I just wished I lived closer so I could go more oftenI

It saddens me to have to write a poor review. For over 10 years this was my favorite sandwich /butcher shop. Unfortunately over the past few years the quality of the food and meats have gone well below average. Ever with selling Boar’s head, the food just isn’t that good. Portions are small, prices are high, bread is bland and today’s sandwich was stale. The butcher prepackaged meats aren’t that good anymore. Overall I just don’t recommend. Hopefully they will read this review and make things better. Try cutting the meats when ordered instead of having them cut for who know how long before for starters. Find better quality breads and maybe lower your prices slightly. Two turkey sandwiches on bulkies should not cost $ 14.

Not a fan ! I went there because I was looking for a certain cut of meat. They told me they had it and then when I got there they didn’t and told me the stuff that they were giving me was better. When I cooked it, it was not at all better and didn’t hold my marinade at all. Super bummed and won’t go back personally feel lied to. This is just based on the meat part I haven’t tried the sandwiches which most of these reviews seem to be based on. Meat wasn’t bad but I will stick to alpine from now on instead of going somewhere I got a coupon to try out which sucks because it’s closer to me.

Had a not-so-great experience and the owner, Chris, emailed me with an apology. That’s rare these days! Kudos for the follow up. I look forward to trying meat again, again!

Great sandwiches! Awesome soup(Iove the chicken & rice)!! Friendly staff. Good place to grab a sandwich & some chips or salad… but I wish they had fries. I haven’t bought any meat from the butcher shop here but I’d like to someday. Important note: no seating here.

Eh. Kind of expensive, but it is all fresh meat. I just wish it was more affordable. They also have a deli and subs as well.

I used to eat here once a week during lunch. The sandwiches are generously proportioned and very good. They use non filler meats and the staff is always polite and look to enjoy there job. I think this is the best cold sandwich spot in Billerica.

Tasty but they get the amount of Meat I desire was incorrect. I got a sandwhich once, it was tasty, I think it was a turkey club. Then I got a BLT wrap, which contained very little B and was mostly T. I also got buffalo chicken pasta salad which is usually one of my favorites, but contained such a small amount of chicken, that it left me unsatisfied. The food is good, but I was let down twice and I don’t know if I’ll be back.

This is more of a 2.5 rating than a 2 rating… Two years ago, I used to really like Meat Again. It was always a good go to lunch place in the area and we frequently provided our visiting customers lunch from here. Unfortunately, the food quality has gone down dramatically. People who used to rave about the sandwiches are now complaining about lack of flavor, skimpy meat and not so fresh bread. I recently got a chef salad with turkey, ham and cheese and I ended up just throwing most of it away and even scraped off the ham because it didn’t quite taste right. Not sure if there was a management change or what happened but its very unfortunate that they have gone downhill.

SERVICEISKEY! My husband, devout meatatarian, loves this place, as do I, part-time pescatarian. We have purchased brisket, spiral cut ham, and marinated chicken, all to the rave reviews of anyone who has partaken of them. My husband also orders the thanksgiving turkeys for his special education program luncheon for the past 2 years. Yes the prices are a bit higher, but for the quality and knowledgable service, they can’t be beat! It is not a restaurant, so don’t expect to sit here for lunch. But do partake of their deli meats and enjoy on a picnic instead!

Great, great butcher shop. I love stopping in to load up on marinated chicken, steak tips, turkey tips, etc. They also offer marinated veggies(asparagus, potatoes) which helps me round out my meal without having to stop at the dreaded supermarket. The guys behind the counter are super helpful when we need a particular cut of meat. My husband used to work in the area and he RAVES about the sandwiches. I’ve never tried them myself because I stop in, in the early morning on Sat /Sun to beat out the lunch rush. Also… and somewhat randomly… the carnegie deli cheesecake that they sell by the slice here is absolutely worth the almost $ 5 price tag.

I have been here twice and both times it was great. The first time it was to pick up the pig I ordered through them, the pig was delicious. The second time was to pick up steaks for a family birthday dinner, the steaks were amazing. I will definitely be shopping here for meats for cookouts this summer!

I wish I lived closer! Amazing staff and steak tips! I recently bought a groupon for Meat Again, and spent way more than I needed. Now we have supplies for lots of summer cookouts. Even if you don’t live near it, make the drive — its worth it!

I’ve heard others rave about this place, but I admittedly have only been there once. No place to sit down… this is a take-out shop only. The sandwich of choice was a Turkey Dinner sandwich… one of my faves, in general. I was there with a couple of my co-workers and it seemed that particular sandwich was a popular choice with our little mob. Most of the sandwiches were actually really good. Good slices of moist turkey, served with a nice helping of stuffing and some cranberry sauce and a little mayo… on a fresh roll. What’s not to like? Well, unfortunately, the last co-worker in our line also decided to get the same sandwich. They must have been pretty low on turkey, as he got all the miscellaneous pieces of the turkey… stringy and chewy bits. His roll also had some mold on the bottom. Wow. To think they’d let a sandwich go out like that? I would think that might be a one time glitch, but at the time we were waiting on the sandwiches, another buddy and I found some packaged pepperoni that actually had white edges to it, it was so old. The expiration date was well past its time. White. Not brown… or a darker shade of red… white. We told the guy behind the counter… and he took them off the shelf. Oopsie. Someone needs a lesson in quality control at this place. Most of our sandwiches were 3 – 4 stars… but I can’t give this place a very good rating after that experience. Ya have to wonder about a place that stretches the life of their food like that. Hope they’ve done better since… Meat again? I doubt it.
