This is a great bike shop. I was biking north from San Francisco, and had stopped at two other shops before this one who had proceeded to both make my bike slightly worse. Alan was friendly, personable, and most important good at his job. He replaced my chain, re-​trued my wheels, re-​wrapped my handlebars, adjusted my crank, and did it all with a great attitude. Yes, the chain was a bit expensive, but it’s worth it to me to get quality work. He even showed me his GoPro videos from the beach. Nice guy, quality work.

I came here while on a bicycle tour – it’s the first stop on your way south as you arrive in North Bend.
The father-​son duo were helpful in checking my chain for wear, but that new chain was extremely overpriced. What’s normally $ 15 on the internet was $ 25 in the store. I can’t say if they’re just trying to gauge tourists since it’s going to be a very common spot for them, or if they just made up the price on the spot for me (the chains were not labelled).
Next time I’ll avoid the gauging.
