It’s like gong into a shop in the 1970s. A bunch of normal motorcycle enthusiasts instead of the usual goofballs I see at most other dealers these days. I was very impressed. They bored my cylinder and did a good job for a reasonable price. Oh, and did I mention they also sell guns? They have a pretty decent selection of guns and ammo.

I was riding from my home in Nor-Cal to the Umpqua Lighthouse State Park and enroute realized that my rear tire was worn out. I called around and the guys at Bay Area Yamaha told me they had a couple of tires that would probably work although they weren’t the exact size that my BMW came with. I went to the shop and they made me a great deal on a tire that had not been used but had been on a showroom bike. I paid half what it would have been new mounted, balanced and installed on my bike. In the process they found my rear brake needed new pads. The next day I picked up new pads and they installed them for $ 25.00. Where I live there isn’t a shop around that will do anything for less than an hours time, meaning $ 100. or more. I wish they weren’t 500 miles away. Stop by if you need anything even if it’s not a Yamaha.
