Happy hour drinks from 2 – 8 and a very polite, talented performer who takes song requests. Good and strong drinks!

Think this place has closed down. Very sad. Location and outdoor seating made for great potential

What a great place! This area needs more places like this! This is the mini ocean drive of north beach! Great service! We will be back!

Such great service! They were nice enough to let us sit here during food truck frenzy. Try their summer samba cocktail — delicious and tastes just like it was made on the beach in rio! Bonus points for to go cups

Great spot for a relaxing outdoor seating with a soft ocean breeze in your face. Their Poolside Passion mix is a great starter for an evening of tranquility. Only thing missing… hookah!

We got there at 11pm thinking that there will be food available till 2am. Unfortunately they close down their kitchen at 11. Since we were already there we ordered a couple of Mojitos — which were fantastic! The service was out of this world. The owner quickly approached us and asked us how was everything and thanked us for coming. I would definitely come again.

After a beautiful afternoon at 79th street beach, I stumbled upon Fifi Beach Club literally right off the sand, and across the street from the public lot I was parked in. It was 4 o’ clock, happy hour, what could go wrong? Nothing, it was magical. It being a Thursday it was pretty desolate, which was kind of great. I grabbed a window seat, pulled my book out and ordered one of the happy hour cocktails that are ½ off beginning at 4 pm. I tried the Fifi Sex on the Beach, a Strawberry Daiquiri and the Passion something or another, it was a vodka based drink. And before you write me up as a lonely alcoholic, keep in mind I was there for 2+ hours due to the impromptu rain storm. And c’mon at $ 6 a pop how could I resist… Now for the food… To be honest I wasn’t hoping for much. I really just wanted a laid back beach joint that would serve me island drinks and fried goods to nibble at. However after referencing other reviews, I was advised this was quite the seafood destination. Things were getting interesting… But in keeping with my laid back vibe I opted for the Mahi Mahi sandwich. I was told that sandwiches weren’t being offered until 5 pm since the bread was being baked. Umm… this could definitely be worth waiting for… and so I did. The sandwich was delicious. The fish was grilled to perfection but its cilantro based spread on the Cuban bread was truly the star. A fuh-mazing sandwich indeed. And as for the service, the waitress was a total sweetheart. This place had me at happy hour, but with all the other perks, how could I not be a fan? So when you’re feeling like avoiding the plague that is South Beach, you may find yourself going North… at Fifi’s and loving it. Just keep it on the low, so as not to spoil it for the rest of us.

We popped into Fifi Beach Club yesterday afternoon to enjoy a cocktail by the ocean. Originally destined for Lou’s, we found that locale closed and meandered the neighborhood until we came upon Fifi. Situated on a lovely piece of real estate on the corner of 73rd Street and Ocean Terrace, Fifi boasts a sun-soaked outside patio and bright bar and lounge inside. The building is decidedly art deco, with large concrete walls and huge windows. The atmosphere feels classic chic. Upon walking up to the entrance, we were unsure if the venue was actually open. A friendly young girl confirmed that it was and helped us inside. It seemed as if FIfi wasn’t really ready for customers — or at least not desirous of them at that moment in time. The TV was blaring the cable Spanish news station and not another soul was in sight. Thankfully the hostess kindly asked what we would like to drink and explained the happy hour specials to us clearly. Unfortunately, once we ordered, she had to leave to find the bartender. About ten minutes later a man returned and promptly mixed our cocktails after we reiterated what we wanted(margarita no salt and a mojito). We were served a lovely mojito and a margarita with salt, which my friend promptly returned. The bartender quickly mixed a new drink rather than pouring the old one into a new glass. Kudos! The experience trends up from here on out. The drinks were strong and delicious and our bartender, while still meandering around the property, was mostly within eyesight for the duration of our visit. The drinks were 50% off on happy hour so the price was right. 18% tip was included. My advice to the owners/management is to be a little more hands on. Simple mistakes like a salted glass mean wasted product, and a less patient pair may have walked out while waiting for initial service. Bottom Line: There’s plenty of potential at this breezy beach bar & lounge, where you’ll find great drinks that are a good value during happy hour.

I am a picky seafood eater but this was delish. I had the mixed seafood platter. It was all grilled and I really enjoyed it. The calamari had the tentacle saas we’ll– the way it should be served — and it was ace. My husband had the snapper and he absolutely loved it. The lady sitting next to us also praised it and said«omg it just melted in my mouth». The fish are all caught locally and on the morning of. They have the, on the display on ice bins by the bar. Epic. Definitely a fantastic restaurant and at great prices too. You’d pay twice the price back in Australia. Ps also they have a happy hour until 8pm!!!
