It’s a typical buffet style food. Very friendly service. However nothing is labeled and I have no idea what it is. The food is good for the price.

Good food, love the price. I worked there for awhile and it was great, I enjoyed the customers the most. Sunday is crazy, but always interesting. I miss my fried green tomatoes.

I went to BJ buffet for lunch with some coworkers. It’s a southern food style buffet they have certain items that they have on the buffet daily and some items that are day specific. The special on the day that I went was catfish, grits, sausage, and a broccoli casserole. The catfish was seasoned well and the cheese grits were as well. The broccoli casserole did need a little more seasoning however. Other items i tried were hit or miss. Some really good and some not so much, like the easy mac tasting mac n cheese. The price for the buffet is only around $ 7, so cant complain too much.

First time there, good country cooking! Will definitely go back. Large chain restaurants should send their servers there to train, customer service was awesome!

BJ’s is good, home country cooking at a very low price and it is absolutely delicious! It is some of the best country fried steak I have ever have and the best part is the portions can be as large or small as you want them to be! The staff are very attentive and friendly, even during busy hours. The food is always fresh and there is always plenty to go around, even after Sunday church! I highly recommend it to anyone in the area!

The service was very good but the food was just okay. For example, the baked fish had an odd taste, the mac n cheese was pretty average. There was also a casserole with broccoli that was bland. The fried fish and chicken was good. Maybe they have better food on other days… I do want to recognize the good service. Our server was very attentive and helpful.

Ate here for the first time Sunday, and it was packed. The food was excellent for a buffet. They had plenty of vegetables, something that is not easy to find in the Augusta area. Most restaurants are meat meat and potatoes. Only problem: I Would like to see the buffet food tables moved apart about a foot. There was not enough room between them. They were prompt about taking up the old plates, and bringing new drinks. The standouts to me: Real collards, Fried green tomatoes, Cheesecake, Good fried chicken. We ate there a couple of times when it was a Chinese buffet, and they were a lot less people then. They take credit cards, but not AMEX

Ok, this restaurant recently opened a few months ago and every time I passed here they were extremely packed. The whole parking lot would be full. So me being the person who loves to check out new restaurants, I put it on my list of places to try. The experience was ok. I wanted to get there before the crowd did so I decided to dine in as soon as they opened at 11am. They were steady but not as crowded as any other time. There were 3 bars of food and a salad bar. There was soul food staples there, such as Fried chicken, cabbage, rutabagas, macaroni, collard greens, rice and gravy, creamed corn, ribs, and chicken fried steak just to name a few. The things I tried were edible, but the stand outs were the chicken, cabbage, rice and gravy, and rutabagas. The other things I tried like the collard greens and macaroni were not to my liking. I would dine here again but I would eat at the Harvest Table before I eat here again.

AMBIENCE — B SERVICE — A FOOD — A+ PRICE — A+($ 7.50 includes tax and Sweet TEA!) ALLYOUCANEAT! … as good as it gets! This was once the«Chinese Buffet» — I’m glad they got rid of all those plastic plant dust collector decorations that hung over our head and food! Really great southern comfort food! Closed Mondays! Like the idea that there is something different every other day of the week! It’s like going to a southern Grandma’s and not knowing what you’re going to have. There is a printed menu at the cashier for varied menu items prepared for the days of the week, but notes that items could be changed. The staple meats are always fried chicken and bbq chicken and boiled veggies and salad bar. I prefer the dark meat over the breast as the breast meat was a little dry. I’ve been twice and was quite surprised that I like almost everything! My favorite Varied items. fried fish, fried okra, ketchup meat loaf, Salisbury steak, fried pork chops, and fall off the bone pork ribs with a nice tangy bbq sauce! Delish! You’ll have to grab that daily menu to figure out what’s the best days to go for your favorite meats! Lots of wait staff always ensuring what you’re needing and cleaning up your plates… always get a clean plate when going back to the buffet … AND don’t forget to ask for your TEA with the meal… you paid for it… might as well get it! Always seems crowded… if you have a big party, I would call ahead to reservce to ensure getting tables together. But it has a good turnover… no problem being seated immediately or within 3– 5 mins. What a great deal! Lunch or Dinner — $ 7.50 includes tax and comes with Sweet TEA! … and get yo’ mind out of the gutter — the BJ stands for«Baby Janes!»
